@Swat Pup yes, just add one zero to your ideal weight to find out your calorie cut off , example: you want to be 125lbs 1,250 calories, or 170lbs 1,700 calories. Make sure it's high fiber, good protien balance, natural, lots of fruit/veges, drink lots of water ( no soy if a man, disrupts natural Testosterone) and that will get your body to that weight with exercise 💪

Lunamaria look again, and LISTEN to what they say try to comprehend the words on mental health. Because looking like the norm has zero to do with good mental health/feeling valid and to be have proper self-esteem in a real way. And poor mental health (like she got when her dad passed etc) is the reason she did not have it in her to take care of her physical health.
So many people lose weight and think it will magically fix their mental health and problems overall, and make them happy, and when they notice that is not the case many feel unhappy and give up and go back to gaining weight (instead of trying to find the solution with the help of a therapist that can help them look at the core issue causing the mental health struggles).
Mental health is key to healthy bodies, and without it people break down the body (when they don’t feel good enough to care). Media and society in general has sold the image that happiness and perfection is only in physical appearance, but you’ll have depressed/unhappy people at any size be it a underweight/healthy weight/overweight/obese. It’s just that with the unhealthy body it takes a great toll on the body on top of the mental health issues + the scrutiny from society if the person doesn’t have a norm body. Because we sadly still have a society that is under the impression it’s ok to mistreat people if they don’t look like the norm, as if respect is tied to only the norm body.
Him supporting her mental health is what is going to make her feel amazing and secure, and not him have her physical body be his main focus or focus at all which is mostly for others to basically objectify and pass judgment on. It’s so normalized people don’t really stop to think if it adds anything and if it’s necessary and kind (which it isn’t). They are married the like most loving couples find time to fit in those words too (hence her words that it felt natural to be physically close on camera too). They seem to have a versatile and rich marriage from the things you could see in this clip. Their children seemed relaxed and happy which is also a testament of the parents’ relationship and also how they treat the children!
With bullying, society isn’t really teaching the bullied person that it’s not but the issue is the bully and their mental health. As a society we are very backwards in terms of outlook on mental health and the narrative to each other and what to focus on.
He sees her soul and has her well-being as a priority, rather than placing his attraction to her physique first! In other words she has found a genuine person! He loved her at an unhealthy weight and he loves her now at a healthy weight because their connection isn’t the body! They have what many will never find due to focusing on the body! And notice how they BOTH spoke lovingly and didn’t put down the other one’s struggle!

I’m so super proud of these couples that they made changes in their lifestyles by being healthier. I was overweight too and always making excuses to myself not to change until I saw my own reflection in the mirror. I then started baby steps of doing cardio in running 🏃‍♀️ and saw myself losing the weight that I need. It feels good to see the changes you go the through not the physical outside part but the internal part you feel you have more energy to do more and you feel healthier 10x. Keep up the great works.

Diane N so when I was overweight I used to eat bigger portion but once I started losing the weight my mind trick me to eat smaller portions and eat healthier by cooking more instead of eating out. This way you can control your calories and cut out unwanted oils or fat. It wasn’t an easy journey took me roughly a year to lose 20 lbs.

Luna Nyberg At the time when I was overweight I hate seeing my reflection when I go shopping, pictures or simply in the mirror telling myself to try to go on a diet. Also as I explained prior comment it’s not the physical out part it’s also for health as well. Diabetes runs in my family so I’m trying to defeat it. Diet is hard no matter how little you eat you still not going to lose the weight until you incorporate with exercise. A lot of the things I try to wear didn’t fit me correctly. I used to eat a lot and food was my comfort zone. It wasn’t overnight that okay I’m going go to lose weight. I had some friends asked me to join them to go running and I started baby steps. Then I started to run more and signed up for gym membership. Then a few months later I started to do races started 4 miles and then 6 and my biggest was a half marathon. After the weight lose I feel more healthier. I hope this helps!

@@blossompure That's very assumptive. Not everyone identifies big with ugly or lazy. I personally like being athletic with curves, and I also happen to think that being too thin is unattractive, which is why women are PAYING for curves.

straightforward I think chunky people are beautiful, I think skinny people are beautiful. I don’t look at weight as something that makes someone less or more beautiful. Losing weight should NEVER be for looks, it should be for health. So no fat is not ugly. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ummm she said she had weight problems since she was a child. So there were probably points in her life where she did "make excuses" for her weight. It takes some people longer than others to make the change and some never do but there's no point in judging.
