HOUSTON’S very own “bariatric bestie” Dominique, spent years feeling depressed about her body - not only how it looked, but by the things it hindered her from doing. From being embarrassed in public to her own private struggles with hygiene at 420lbs, Dominique says “she needed to make a change” in order to save her life. After having weight loss surgery, and losing 205lbs, Dominique's confidence levels have skyrocketed as she claims to be “the president of America” and shows off her glowed-up body every chance she gets.

Congratulations! I went from 325 to 230 but gained the weight back from birth control and 2 knee surgeries. I pray I can get to where I was or if I can, get to where you are now because that's my goal weight 🙏🏾

Girl I know that pain! I went to Six Flags years ago with a guy I was dating, we were getting on a roller coaster and when I went to sit down my hips wouldn't fit! I jumped up real quick and left the ride and cried. That was humiliating and traumatic. I only weighed 200 but I had wide hips. I just knew I was gonna fit fine because I saw I huge guy get off the ride as we were waiting in line. I was always embarrassed and held myself back from doing all the fun things I really wanted to do. In 2018 I found ketogenic diet, lost 100lbs(I started at 312), also got rid of fibromyalgia, gastroparesis and many other health issues. I'm 56 and wish I had found this way of eating decades ago. But I am blessed and finally living life!❤❤

Last I was at six flags I was a Sr in high school and weighed 185 size 12 n of course I could fit

I’ve noticed most time women of bigger sizes are always so beautiful. I’m happy she took the steps needed to get where she is now. And she looks amazing.
I love her honesty saying you were so big you couldn't wipe yourself. I went to a state fair with my little nephew because he was too little to get on by himself. The ride wouldn't lock because of my weight. Luckily a little girl said I'll get on the ride with him. It took everything in me not to break down and cry in front of all those people.
It's well dear, take good care of yourself. We will be there too one day. I was 106kg before but, now 85kg more 10 to go. I wish you all the best 🤗

I feel her about not being able to wipe. I usually stayed around 140-165 until I started taking meds and had a baby. Some months before getting pregnant, I got really sick, and dropped down to somewhere in the 120's. When I got up to 236 this past year is when I noticed difficulty wiping. I asked myself the same thing and was like I HAVE to do something about it. Down just fourteen pounds and now it feels normal again. My goal is to get back down to 140 though.

I totally understand I’ve seen her on UA-cam, and I’m going through weight loss as well so far I came from 272/228 and it’s really hard but worth it! Self discipline keeps me accountable with my consistency! I look at old pictures and I said it myself I don’t wanna go back looking like that😊

I am so proud of you being overweight is painful and it robs you of all the things you really want to do. I am so proud of you. I had knee surgery and gain weight because I can't do tge things i use to. But I know that i have to do it for me and noone else get back to being healthy. You made me realize no matter what do it for yourself. Life is too short to go through pain daily. You're a fighter keep fighting.

"You don't know what I'm ready to do". That's often true. People don't always know what's inside you. But I have a friend that is most certainly "not ready". She's been saying she's going to "lose this 80 pounds" and "start eating healthy" since 2013. And here we are, 10 years later, and she's still having Coke, Cheetos, and chocolate chip muffins for breakfast. She's "not ready". Maybe never will be. So I wish she'd stop talking about it already. I just feel like "Do it, or shut up about it". Anyway, glad you were ready though. Congrats. You earned this.
Agree!!! Sometimes it’s their track record and constant talk. My friend is the same way . Trying to lose 100 pounds way before I met her in 2020 and she’s gained ! I’ve tried to teach her about nutrition, worked out EVERY DAY for an entire summer and there’s been no progress. I had to give up because she was holding me back. Would always be late for our sessions and was creative with her excuses!

Food can be your biggest enemy and take you out. Don't let it control you. Make wise decisions when it comes to what you eat and what you put in your body. Love yourself to control yourself and luve a healthy life as long as you can.
I'm glad she made a decision to do something about health before it was too late and hopefully maintain it in a healthy balance way. Stay encouraged.

Trying to lose weight is a journey for most I am glad she found something that she enjoyed and works for her. The gastric bypass surgery helps but it comes with a lot of complications I hope she's able to keep the weight off.

I had a similar journey, I lost weight in all the right places and still kept my apples and pears. I’m VERY slim and toned now and toned and the amount of attention you suddenly get is really overwhelming. My husband is extra protective of me now lol 🤷🏾♀️

I'm so happy for her. Weight loss is no joke. I lost 42 lbs in less than 3 months best feeling ever. My problem was I exercised daily for months but struggled everyday with my calorie intake. It was also impossible for me to eat less. It felt like I wasn't in control of my actions. Adding Phenq pills just made my journey easier. Eating less became possible and I also had enough energy to exercise.

I don’t know how I came across this page but iam on a weight loss journey after being severely sick for 5-6 yrs due to chronic mold exposure it caused me to over eat due to chemical imbalances I had a problem with processed carbs and sugar was my enemy I was also dealing with depression ptsd and anxiety also a yr ago I just had a hysterectomy which caused me to gain weight I have asthma as well with chronic inflammation I got tired of being fat and started walking 5 miles a day I started out at 300 pounds now iam down to 204 no surgery and iam 5’2 my motivation was I do not want to die being fat iam still walking when I can and try to watch how much I eat it’s hard but doable I’m hoping that with my continuous weight loss it will improve my confidence and I start feeling better about myself being stressed out while being sick played a big part in me trying to lose weight iam 43 and still pushing myself everyday to walk you have to want to lose the weight or it won’t work I was my own enabler and took accountability for my actions I couldn’t blame anyone for me being fat but ME

People get on the Internet and find everything to complain about 😂🙄🥴, she literally did her entire interview in her new body, every other clip was a body part of her new body. What are you talking about? This is projection and maybe this is a personal trigger for you, but you need to get over yourself and stop finding everything to complain about.
