- Jackson Browne performs “Some Bridges” for the 2020 Steel Bridge Songfest.
SBSF is an annual music festival that brings together songwriters from around the country and the world. SBSF was founded in 2005 to benefit the preservation of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin's iconic Michigan Street Bridge. The weeklong event centers around a focused writing and recording collaboration called Construction Zone, culminating in a series of concerts celebrating those new songs, the artists that created them, and the community where they were written.

Way back in 1981 i was living and working at the Century Plaza Hotel ..one night i stuck my finger out and started hitchhiking to Hollywood..a man in White BMW pulled over and picked me up..and drove me to Hollywood ..it was Jackson Browne the singer ..we chatted i told him i was from Melbourne Australia he said his Girl Friend was from Australia ..i never forget that night Jackson ..

Love this song. I haven't heard it live in a while. Hopefully we will be rebuilding bridges broken over the last 5 years and building new bridges, both literally and figuratively, between all kinds of people, as well as highways and byways.
I tried this, not to look at the screen but just close my eyes and hear the song! And JB sounded exactly almost the same as 30 or 40years ago, that unmistakable voice with great lyrics that flows through your blood n makes a nice clear dream!
He's still handsome and great. I was a 3 year old girl when my hippie babysitter brought him over and played one of his earlier albums. You're still amazing and I was lucky enough to meet him and his family at inductions. Great moments in life. Amazing tune

Amazing how his voice never ages.
He has great phrasing but his voice has changed with time. He sings a lot of his songs in a lower key now than he did in his Younger days. Check out some UA-cam videos and you will understand what I mean.
