Stargazer - thanks for the response. It truly was a confusing time. I was in my early 30s when this mysterious ailment was at its zenith. Everyone was afraid. Everyone was scared. He looked at me and with what seemed like genuine surprise said, “you’re kidding!” Then the next time was in San Jose CA with JB and Emmylou Harris and Joan Baez. After the benefit concert, they had a meet and greet on the stage. We got the three to autograph a t-shirt. What a precious treasure that shirt is today 10 years on. I had the privilege of meeting him in 2011 at the Clearwater Hudson festival where he played solo for a small group of attendeees. Pain & suffering and yet the love and kindness that has been displayed by millions is extraordinary. Thank you Jackson and Leslie and all involved in crafting this prayer.
The legendary Jackson Browne stood firm in his deliverance to continue his glorious craft, he still has that uniqueness in creating magic and gilded songs, plaudits to him and Mendelson.
I've heard the Eagles and some other artists perform in their twilight years. Most of them struggle to find their voice. Not Jackson Browne. He's lucky and so are we that he still sounds the same today as he did decades ago. Can't get enough of his songs.

My heart is breaking......again. Thank you Leslie and Jackson! Love you!
And here he does it again. Such a heartfelt song that touches me. Beautiful voice Leslie. 😘👌🏻
You will never know the influence your music was on my life.....listening endlessly into the night...to "late for the sky"...and "the pretender" ....from my lonely room as a teenager....I eventually became the pretender...mundane job...beautiful girl...paint by number dreams...right down to the house on the highway....sometimes i thought you were a prophet...as well as the poet laureate of our times.....but you weren't to blame...for my shortcomings or the world's.....still saying a prayer for you Jackson.....and if you can, say a prayer for all of us pretenders who waited on the changes for love to bring.....and if you get some time...for your sake and mine...read over the letters in red again...just the letters in red....because you know in the end...."it is the wink of an eye"
Beautifully put my friend.
Wow! Hauntingly beautiful! I couldn't make it halfway thru before crying. Bravo Leslie and Jackson! Bravo 💕
Nightingale . “ I can’t stop listening”.
Yes, too much for me. Cannot listen to so much. He is a genius. So sad I cannot go to his concert in Connecticut. So afraid of COVID, despite being vaccinated. Anyone, reading this- Concerts in Summer, 2021. Do not miss!!!🥲
@@pamabbey3057 Don’t let fear take over Pam. Keep living life just a little more cautiously now adays. Remember none of us live forever. Cancer strokes heart attacks car accidents are all out there. Nobody knows when it’s our time so live life my friend and share it with those you Love 💕
@@nightingaleofsorrow9349 Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. You are so wise. I am a 💯% disabled teacher. A student had tried to kill me in Miami. No shock there. Now home in Maine. Today is a severe day of pain and I cannot thank you enough for such inspiring words. Sending good thoughts.♥️
Typical JB…touching my heart and soul. Offering a human touch for decades, now. Thank you Leslie, as well. I love your voice, and how you offer your voice to all those who sometimes get shouted down. Love and peace.

Once again Jackson Browne gives it ALL....another masterpiece!
Jackson Browne still has that great voice. Always loved his music!
I have been listening to Jackson since I put the needle on the first song on his first album. I had the privilege of meeting him in 2011 at the Clearwater Hudson festival where he played solo for a small group of attendeees. What is amazing about Jackson's music is how we as listeners can equate it to something in our current lives. This song translates so well on whats going on today with Covid-19. Pain & suffering and yet the love and kindness that has been displayed by millions is extraordinary. Thank you Jackson and Leslie and all involved in crafting this prayer.
This is so incredibly soulful and timely even now. Thanks.
Something in my eyes.
Jackson is one of my favorite song writer just so talented a true great voice and performer.. ✌✌

Crazyhorse once said”We as people can save our Mother Earth if only we care to try.” I think he was talking about humanity too! 💕🎼💕
I absolutely love this. Tears welling up in my eyes...
Another great song from great talents. You two are magic together. Thanks.
The legendary Jackson Browne stood firm in his deliverance to continue his glorious craft, he still has that uniqueness in creating magic and gilded songs, plaudits to him and Mendelson.
Leslie’s voice makes this song soar.

I've been entranced by Jackson Browne's music since I was 15 or so, and now I'm considered old! This is beautiful and heartrending. What a great song
I can't believe that this man's music touched me almost 50 years ago and still brings tears to my eyes today. God bless you, Jackson.
I've heard the Eagles and some other artists perform in their twilight years. Most of them struggle to find their voice. Not Jackson Browne. He's lucky and so are we that he still sounds the same today as he did decades ago. Can't get enough of his songs.
Two magic persons, two magic voices, one magic Song...
Lord, God, Whomever, bless the nurses that showed caring and leadership.
A Human Touch, they clearly felt the need for, and for someone other than themselves. And they acted, and made change.
Heartbreaking video. God bless all of our health care workers and those who suffer from illness. This song brought tears, especially during this period of isolation. This is such a poignant message. Thanks so much for sharing. Take care & God bless.🌹💕
