Cajuns of Louisiana have made and used push polls for hundreds of years. They used wooden polls and attached wood on one end to increase the surface area when pushing in the soupy mud or when paddling in deeper water. Their boats were perogues, shallow draft wooden boats smaller than canoes.

You can also use 1 1/4” pvc and slide in 8’ sections of wooden dowels (made for closets) to stiffen it up.
Also, use a T on one end with 3” piece of pipe and caps to push into sand.
Get you a piece of long joint bamboo. Once it dries, put a coat of finish on it n it will last for years.
We use an electric conduit pipe , cost us like 10$ to make it and its stronger then a PVC pipe. Should check it out
Most important thing you didn’t say, pipe diameter and pole length.
Looks about like 2” maybe 1 3/4”
Hi man, what’s the length of the pole and pipe diameter you use it? Thanks
It’s around 17ft but my boat is 14ft. And it’s 1 1/4 inch.
Awesome! Thanks
You need to adjust your camera next time.
