- Use materials from Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Amazon to make a modular 6, 8 or 10 ft. stake-out/shallow water anchor for kayaks out of solid fiberglass and for under $30!
My favorite and I have watched a bunch. Thanks for sharing and your time to do so. It’s appreciated.
This is absolutely outstanding!
Just got into kayaking and I'm definitely going to have to make one of these.
Very nice video! I used something similar for my fishing boat too. Worked great
Nice build, earned you a new subscriber.
Great vids man, nice take on yak mods and vids.
Watched all your videos, some great ideas. I have the same fiberglass pole. For a handle I found bicycle handles that fit perfect, real tight also at Wal-Mart. Good luck with your channel. BTW, I'm in Hendersonville so maybe I'll see you out there, can't miss that trailer!
Thanks! I'm in Spring Hill so would love to fish sometime!
Maybe try a can of truck bed spray to cover your pole.
From Southern Indiana. How do you like it so far or what changes would you or did you make since this video is three years old
1” heat shrink work ok for 3/4 pipe or should I use 3/4 heat shrink for 3/4” pipe?great tips a demo would have been spectacular
I can’t find these darn pole anywhere, even online, it’s like they stopped making them
Same
DOES ANYONE HAVE A LINK TO FIND THE FIBERGLASS POLE? I cant find at a walmart store or on line anywhere. Im thinking they arent made anymore.. hope Im wrong
Hey brother, I just saw your video and subscribed! Is there a way you could link all the products you used? I love how you constructed this stake out pole.
So sorry for the late response...still figuring some things out. I'll send some info, most of the stuff I got at home depot
What do you use for a pointed tip?
Scott, are you in the Nashville TN area?? I've been looking for the Miracle Gro stakes everywhere in Nashville and can't find them...Which walmart did you find them? Thanks for the video!!
I can't find them either, I can't even find them on the Miracle Gro website. They are either not being made anymore, or they are a casualty of covid and can't be made at the moment.
@@asdfkhieee I just went with pvc...
@@fishincommish local nursery
@@fishincommishwhat PVC did you use and did it work out?
@jacobhyre7835 this has been a better option that I did on another kayak.ua-cam.com/video/Gicwsr0m5ok/v-deo.htmlsi=BlcozpUzvLjCwiaZ
Wish you connected them and showed how it looks. All that rambling and no demonstration
You copied a previous video.
Great information. I teach public speaking. Watch video yourself, count the number of times that you say ah or ummm....
Oh geez..., are you a vegetarian (or worse 'vegan')? You don't live in Colorado do you? How many genders do you believe exist?
All in good fun brother...., cause here in rural America we don't concern ourselves with North Face clothing/footwear, or city folk experiencing the great outdoors. In fact some use rumble stakes for worms, green black walnuts to fish, trench traps for quail, and wax slugs for deer (that ought to cause some level of WTF?).
So...thanks for watching the video, but I have no idea what you are talking about???
This guy is an idiot. Hey bud, you don't speak for all of rural America. And if you did you're doing it poorly. To each his own, is what a grown-ass man would say.
I apologize, but I have no idea what this is in reference to...also, I'm way late on a response.
