What are your thoughts on putting a trolley anchor system on both sides of the kayak with 2 small hand turning gears using drift socks? If thats hard to imagine picture this. You have 2 socks on both sides of the yak. On each side you have a hand turning gear (just like rudder systems have) but these gears would be used to position your drift socks either at the front of the boat or the back.
Thanks for watching UA-cam fam!!
Dude, so cool involving your son in this. Best thing I’ve seen on UA-cam in a long time! (I like the mod / pole mount idea too!) :-)
Thanks a ton! I hope to add more of them in the content as time goes by!

Pretty cool! I also use my stake pole in some of my diff scupper holes. It’s real sturdy.
Right on! Careful doing that. I've known scupper holes to break and start small leaks doing that.
Fill pvc with heated sand and you can bend it without buckling.
Good tip! I've never heard of that one before!
Is this loose sand?
@@eddiealexanderthegreat fill the pipe up with heated sand. You don't have to pack it.
“Poor man’s power pole” *rigs it up to a Hobie kayak*

Have a Old Town MK106 and just added two Yak Gadget FlexRod Stager System where I can lay the anchor stick and tie into my anchor trolley when needed
Very nice!
