Hands down the GOAT for beginner guides for any game. I learned SOOO much. Especially love the tip about the Undercity and reinforcement for the mercs. Also the way you explained the crafting was SO helpful! I finally understand crafting now after watching this. Can't wait to dive into it all! ❤🔥
The actual game should link to this video. So well done. Love how this guide avoids comments or lessons on going the ultra sweaty min/max route of playing and just teaches all the game mechanics. It leaves room for players to choose their own adventures and doesn’t spoil any storylines. Bravo!
My wife loves Diablo, but has never seriously ever gotten into an RPG game before. Terms used in stuff like stats or resistances, is like geometry to a 3rd grader. She is not used to this world. We hit level 20 and she started to ask me about the mechanics behind stats and how is she supposed to know what she needs to focus on. When I started explaining it to her, I realized how foreign and hard to articulate this universe is to someone. It's like teaching a class. I started with the basics, explaining stats, but I think this video will be perfect for us to watch together. Really great guide, and easy to be able to pause and elaborate on anything she needs help with.
I finished this up last night and it was incredibly helpful as a day 1 casual returning player who felt overwhelmed by all the changes. Fantastic work!

I think the best part is your editing style and breaking it all down in a way that’s easy to grasp. Thanks again. I’ll have to watch it a few more times as I progress.
This was exactly what I needed and what I've been searching for. THANK YOU. I barely played the original game and now I bought the expansion and really have no idea what's going on. This showed me everything I needed to be able to play the game and understand what I'm doing!

I knew you were going to come in clutch with this guide. Just bought the game and have not played it since launch so this was a huge help. Truly amazing
You earned my subscription. This is legit an incredible well thought out and detailed guide to the systems of this game. I listened to it while working today, but will most likely rewatch it before bed tonight again to visualize it all now! Definitely going to be playing and trying things with this insane new compendium of knowledge you’ve gifted us! 10000000% amazing beginners guide!
Thank you so much for putting up this video. i was so lost when i started D4 like 2 days ago. but then again this video helped tons and now i know how to (at least) navigate the early levels!
A great video for myself coming back to D4 after a bit of an extended absence. I was shocked to find that my 3 level 100 characters and 1 level 75 are now sitting at level 50. A lot has changed and your video lets me know exactly what to do. Many thanks Sir🫡

I haven’t played since release and got close to completing it, but never did. Coming back for VoH, should I do the main campaign or hop right into VoH? Looking to get back into Diablo.
After years of open worlds and souls like games its refreshing to play a simple game. Is it the greatest game? Not even close. Were my expectations high? Not at all. I havent played dragon age since the first one. I just thought the combat looked fun. It's like plying a ps2 game. One thing that drives me mad however is the way the characters speak. As I read on a reddit post is it has a "well that just happened" vibe. Which sums up alot of modern voice acting in games and movies today. Its irritating but if you don't care about story and dialogue and just want to play a simple game I would give it a try. Maybe not for $70 though.
Still watching through but thank you for this guide! It's great I might give d4 another go poe is just far too complicated even after watching dozens of guides. Quick question do u need to get the vessel expansion to continue endgame? Are certain loot and affixes n such gated by not having the expansion? If so I don't want to get into it. Thanks in advance
Thank you! You can definitely still enjoy Diablo without the expansion. You just wont have access to the new class, the new region (and the content inside that region) and runes. You will still have access to all the seasonal content and all the upgrades to the base game they make quarter after quarter. hope that helps!

We still on a nightmare dungeon rotation each season, like only the 30 same NMDs each time for entire season thru new system? One of my complaints has to be that if you roll multi chars the nmds get kinda repetitive even though it's a kind of wide pool just since it's the same dungeons for 3 months.

@@LuckyGhost First, thank you for responding so quick! so I can complete the main story line but that character can't gain any more seasonal items or do seasonal specific quests etc. I'm cool with that I guess. I'm only getting like a third of the game everyone else is getting because I started late in a season. guessing the seasonal pass is not worth it to me then. i also dont understand the math as well as everyone else when it comes to doing in depth builds so I dont think even with a full season ahead of me I'll ever be ever to actually complete a season unlocking everything. Its a bit frustrating knowing my time is numbered and I'm playing against a clock for the full experience. Thank you though for clearing that up.
@@jamestillman5247 yeah, you get used to it. finishing a character doesn't take nearly as long as you might think. normally you can do it in a couple of weeks. for your first character maybe as long as 3 or 4 weeks. so creating a char and completing it inside of a 3 month season ends up not being as daunting as it sounds at first glance. Generally its suggested to temper first, then enchant. When tempering, you could end up stuck with a useless stat. If you try tempering first and end up with a bad result, you may want to just not bother enchanting it until you get another item to try tempering again.

Hi Guys. I Hope you all are well. I like to say this video is amazing im going to have to watch this a few times . 😊 thank you 😊 I like to make a kind request and been holding out since release. I had this game at launch but i had to stop playing due to life circumstances at that time but now i have some time. I like to finally play the game and play togther so i be a noob. My friend and I was playing but got disappointed about multyplayer match making. I really like to play this game and took alot of courage for me to ask for help online. I like to make friends. The last time i played properly online with great friends was Warframe and would like to relive this again with you. Please anyone reading this can you add us a friend i really like to play this game online. 😊 Thanks Kent
Do I need to complete the base campaign before unlocking the spirit hall for the spirit born class?? Never finished the original so I wanted to play it, and of course I wanted to try the new class. Just hit level 15 and I can't get to the quest marker for my class quest... Really annoying, probably would have picked another class if I knew I couldn't do the class quests
I am a new player. If I choose the original campaign, can I still play the Vessel of Hatred campaign? What about the reverse? If I choose the Vessel of Hatred campaign, can I still play the original campaign? Thanks!
@313Martin make you character, right before starting the game there's an option that that's at the top left. At this point itll ask.what point would you like to start. It claims that dlc is recommended, but that's absolutely stupid. Especially if your new to the game. Lilith is one bad MF
@@kirbyscreativity damn I ef’d up. I was wondering why nothing looked familiar. Is there an option where I can start from the base game campaign in game? Or does it have to be the way that you stated.
So i have a question. I have lv25 Rouge and not complete the base campaign. Now i have the expansion and i created a new character. Can i first complete the base campaign with spiritborn and then with the same character counting to the new campaign?
Question I need help !! New to the game not sure if it’s because I had another character and never finished the story on that character that I can’t upgrade my npc character for example my occultist and blacksmith and jewler still have tabs on them that are greyed out or do I just continue with my second character and it will eventually unlock ? Because on my second character I’m already close to 60 I’m currently level 57 while my first character is level 25

Thanks Kent
So wait is max level 100 still or do we not get paragon at 50 anymore
60 is now the max level. then you can get up to 300 levels of paragon
@@LuckyGhost oh ok so like it gonna be a better grind thnx for clarifying
Been watching for years btw eso and all appreciate it
@@ducky5326 heck ya, and now sweat!
Thanks!
Play base campaign then vessel of hatred
@LuckyGhost Can I do that with the same character?
@@jackcarter4088 yep!
@@LuckyGhost Thanks!
This game is fucking complicated. Subscribed.
New players you must play base game first. Do not play dlc first. Thats not how you play a game
How do you play the base game first?
Yeah no problem
Question I need help !! New to the game not sure if it’s because I had another character and never finished the story on that character that I can’t upgrade my npc character for example my occultist and blacksmith and jewler still have tabs on them that are greyed out or do I just continue with my second character and it will eventually unlock ? Because on my second character I’m already close to 60 I’m currently level 57 while my first character is level 25
You need to beat the base game story on one of your characters :))
@ thank you for the info !! You are the best !
@@LuckyGhost question also does it matter what level I finish the base story on my character??
