Yo way to keep the game alive . The amount of soul you put into these is incredible. I go back and watch frequently because at this point, listening to you talk about this game has become ASMR to my ears. Keep up the great work Ghost, love you lots.
Lucky, even though I have been playing ESO since 2017, I always find myself watching your Complete Beginner's Guide every year you have put one out. Thank you for helping out the new players. Your videos have helped so many players get better and understand the game I love. Again, Thanks and kudos to you fine sir!
This was the best beginners guide I have ever watched. As a player that plays on and off it was a good refresher on what I knew but it also showed me new things I did not know. 10/10 would recommend.
This video is very likely the reason I'll be playing ESO for a long time to come. Great video, it's really great to have content creators doing videos like this, at expense of their time. Thank you.
I just washed the entire video!! Absolutely fantastic. My dad and I pump to play. Thank you for all the knowledge and work that you put into this. Keep doing you brother. Sending love from everybody else who has watched this
5min in and my head is spinning. I'm a beginner in eso and I hope my money was worth it, I'm sure it was. I'm so excited to get into a NEW world. Wish me luck💚
I've been playing this game since it launched. I find your content very helpful because I take breaks sometimes a year apart. Every time I come back I hope that the Craft Bag is no longer behind a paywall, but alas, I doubt that will ever be
Perfect timing on the video, I'm trying to get back into ESO. I've had an ESO account since launch and have tried to play the game many times but I always come back for 3 weeks or so then leave for something else. Hopefully this time I can stick around long enough to make some good progress.
When I first played few years ago I started and literally didn't stop until I did all zones/faction quest for all 3 alliances lol I played for months and months straight I love this game so much but I stopped for over a year now probably almost 2. But gonna jump back in with a new character sadly I don't have the newest dlc and don't have eso plus anymore which makes the game even better but I'll buy eso plus when I get paid.
@@2stplace I realized the game can be completely trivialized by simply spending a shit ton of money and spending very little time playing the game. Step1- pay for the crafting bag membership Step 2- create a player auctions account to buy 150m gold for around 99usd Step 3- travel to every guild trader purchasing large sums of crafting materials, for about 30m you can have thousands of each stack. Step4- purchase hundreds of alchemy writs from guild traders. Step 5- download the wrotworthy add on to auto craft hundreds of alchemy writs. If it is during a double XP event you get get a fresh account to 1100CP in about 4 hours and around 200$ Once I did that I realized the game was a waste of time because I achieved everything I wanted with little effort. Which in retrospect saved me potentially thousands of hours wasted playing the video game.
The lockpocking mini game is one of my favorite parts of the game!! I be role playing my character and I love the lil rush of maybe running out of time or perfecting the timing of the wiggle of the pins
It's crazy to think how although i've been playing this game since launch, I will still come back every year and watch the updated guide videos lucky ghost puts out!! A1 content every time!
I just started on console yesterday and I was so overwhelmed with the amount of choices I actually decided the game was to much for me I work 50 to 70 hours a week so I may only get an hour or 2 at best per day to play, butttt..after watching this video it really helped me understand what to do and how to do it lol. Nevertheless, thank you so much you definitely won me over this game looks like so much fun I just wish I had more time to play!
Absolutely amazing guide. I'm getting back into it after not playing for 9 years, this is exactly what I needed. So glad I didn't have to piece this all together from 50 different videos! Thank you @luckyghost!
Hey, returning player, have not played since first release of ESO.. This video was SUPER helpful. Thank you for taking the time to go over all this so completely.
i have almost 1000 hours of gameplay, but in this video i discovered few things i didn't know, thanks for the very useful tutorial. I love TESO and I have "all" the dlc's, why "all" well, I bought the dlc's but to have access to all the content of the game I need to pay a monthly subscription and that I will never do, maybe I would buy if at the end of the subscription we could get some content from ESO+ , in SWTOR I only paid for a month's subscription because at the end of the subscription you got some things in your account but in TESO it's not like that and as such I will never ever pay for it, besides this business model in a perfect world would never succeed, I started playing video games in the 80s and when you bought the games you bought the complete games but nowadays you buy a game with little content and then these corporations release dozens and dozens of dlc's and in the end you pay for the same game several times, that's why in the last 3 years I gave up buying games from some corporations and started to support small indie companies with 1, 2 or even 3 developers and to this day indies have never disappointed me unlike the corporations. I remember perfectly when I started playing video games it was a fantastic moment and feeling unfortunately the world of video games in the last 20 years or more has become something I hate but the guilt It's also the gamers, well, it's all the gamers' fault because by buying subscriptions/microtransactions/other stuff they're allowing companies to continue with their business model that in the perfect world would be illegal, and my opinion is the opinion of many gamers like me who started playing video games in the 80's or even in the early 90's... edit: the market is broken ? or the game is dying ? when the game went free on Epicgames I said to a friend, this is short-lived sunshine, when new players realize that if they don't buy the subscription and without it they will be playing two games at the same time, one Backpack Simulator (you waste a lot of time instead of playing the game itself) and the other TESO, I know a lot of gamers refuse to pay for subscriptions for various reasons, one reason being that TESO, like many other games of the same type, when the servers are shut down, the people who bought the game and the dlc's will never be able to play the game again...
This has been so helpful. I've been a very casual player, usually I'll jump in for a few weeks around Christmas every year so I've never really felt like I've understood how the game works. This has made all the difference! Thankyou!
Yes, I went through this entire video, and it helped me to improve my skills on my toons, some things that I did not know were possible, and how to better play the game. Keep it up, you did a way cool video and explained things in a very easy way to understand. I have been playing ESO for a long time, I started with the old champion point system. And again thank you for the video.
This person has done an awesome job of putting this video together. I have been playing ESO for a while and I still listen to videos like this in the background. Never too late to learn something new. The survivability tip for a tank is spot on. In a lot of random groups you will find out that you have DPS posing as healers. I will try to block someone's whole account for doing this. And when he made the comment about guilds with taxes and fees. There are plenty of free guilds that need help. Guilds are a dime a dozen so do not stress taxes and fees or getting kicked. I seen a guild with a 600 Gold a week fee, why should I support their moon sugar habit?
I just started playing again after a long hiatus and I have never really looked up a build or guide. I always just play and see what happens. I'm now following a build but wanted to make sure I knew all of the mechanics. I watched this entire thing from start to finish. I can honestly say I don't feel the need to look up anything else other than your video on Skrying after watching this video. Fantastic guide man!!
Just picked up the game about a week ago and have spent most my time wondering around killing mudcrabs. This guide was so informative and I enjoyed listening to it even thought it took me three days to finish lol. I'm totally going to be scouring your channel looking for more guides. Thanks a ton for the help!
Hey this was wonderful and helped me so much. It is now 3am and was worth staying up for so much information but absolutely worth it. Now I need to get some sleep. Thank you
Coming back to eso after about a 5 or 6 year break I believe. I remembered you from back then and you being one of my favorite content creators and here you are still at it lol. I used you back then when I was starting and I will now man. Thanks for all the hard work you do.
Oh my, this is massive, great job! Quick note about fast travel, I recently found out that teleporting to a home is free too, and there are plenty of free/cheap rooms in inns
Great upload can’t wait to watch while playing , I’ve just started ESO so it should come in handy. ill give it real crack over the Xmas holidays, thanks for efforts , from Australia and merry Christmas 🎄
I got well over 2,000 hours and have 20 toons and still learned a ton from this thank you lucky ur videos keep making me a better player no matter what role
I just got back into the game about 2 weeks ago since I quit in 2018. A lot of the game feels foreign and these new mechanics are a bit overwhelming sometimes. I was watching your 2023 guide to help me get back into things but now this one came out so I'll be watching this as I grind some of the newer skill lines. Thanks for the hard work.
Brand new player here. I have just over 300 hours in the game. I am always lost and frustrated. I have started over twice. lol - I am also over 60 and somewhat challenged by the MMO aspect but love the game. I came and almost didn't watch because of the length of the video. I am so glad I stayed. This is the most informative video I have watched. Most jump to so many words that mean something to everyone else without explanation. Like AOE and DOT... I get lost and leave. You started at the beginning and just kept going. Thank you soooo much. I have saved this and subscribed. I watched every minute and I am sure I will be back to watch parts again. I intend to watch all the linked videos too!! ~LoriAnne
This was amazing. I've played on and off since launch. Only missed a couple dlc but went back and finished them. I learned so.many small things in this video. Thank you so much!!
This is *the* best Beginner’s Guide I’ve ever seen for any MMO. Even after playing this game since beta, I learned (and re-learned) things that improve my day-to-day experience in ESO. Big fan for years, Lucky, keep up the great work.
Played the game at launch and stopped about a year in but for some reason decided to give it a go again with the new expansion commin. Watched this video while it was installing and there was so much useful info so thank you so much for this.
Thanks for this video. returning after not playing since launch and i've used this as a guide throughout my entire playthrough of the game. I've probably watched it like 10 times lol. Great video
I played on day one (console launch) and came back once, and now have come back again to jump into Gold Road. This is a great guide so far, as I am creating a new character!
Thanks for this awesome/brilliant/stunning guide @Lucky !!! (and the amount of time you dedicated to it). I have played TESO on console since years (+1000 lvl) and recently decided to restart the adventure on PC. I watched the full guide and still I learned new things that I didn't know. Thanks a bunch Bro for sharing that ;-)
Appreciate this video alot, looking for a new mmo to play since taking a break from New World due to lack of content. Bought the base game and made a Breton Mag Warden, not sure if I'll play healer or dps but will decide when hit max level. Needed a guide to help me understand the game's current state and your video was SUPER HELPFUL. Feeling like ESO might be my new main now but will see after a few months of playing, just wanted to say thanks for the helpful video.
Hi bud, I'm only level 30 after putting in 100h haha I was just appreciating all the little details of the game and exploring, before this video I had no idea the amount of content I was missing out on. Just wanted to say thanks from all us new comers 😅
I just picked up the game on sale on steam. I’ve always been a big Elder Scrolls fan, but a bit hesitant to jump into the ESO. I always felt that it was too late to get started with it. This video definitely helped change my mind.
I was literally listening to your 2023 guide (not for the first time) yesterday while training my scrying levels. Absolutely going to binge this one now too (even though I’m absolutely not a new player). Your guides are incredible and your personality shines through. Anyways, it’s 7.45pm here, so if I want to get any sleep by 11pm since this obviously needs binging in one sitting, I better get started. Thank you for all you provide the ESO community Lucky, and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Cannot thank you enough for this and all of your superb ESO guides. I'm a returning player after a looong break and these have been so helpful getting me reacclimated. Great work!
I started eso when the morrowind expansion came out, but set it down after deciding I wanted to hammwr down on morrowind the game(started with oblivion). I just finished it and now Im headed back in with an immense appreciation for the voice acting lol really, thank you for all of the tips, I had no idea this was a REAL MMO and not only a great scrolls game, really lovin it
Wow. I've been playing ESO for years, have watched many, many videos. This is by far the most comprehensive, detailed and informative video I have seen. Big ups on this man, you're helping so many. 💯❤
1:14:36 one lil tip I would say needs to be mentioned here is that some abilities also de-activate when u swap bars. Idk much about the game so far but I do know my summons disappear unless the ability is slotted on both bars, like my sorcerer summons or warden bear ultimate
been trying to play eso on and off for years i used to be big on it back in the ps4 days but now as a pc gamer and missing like 5 expacs XD it's been great to watch this video as i feel i'm finally back to enjoying it like i once did.
Hey Console player that played a few years and then returned, but to PC in April! Not sure how your vid ended up in my feed, but I'm glad it did as I learned a few things still.. (yes, did make it all the way to the end!) Key to what I'm doing right now.. that others fishing the same fishing spot will slightly increase the incidence of legendary fish (not ideal for what I'm doing) How the game decides how large your damage is as a DPS among others! Looking forward to some of the other content linked in the notes! Thank you!
made it to the end! great video, I'm coming back to the game after a few years of hiatus (and I'm swapping from console to pc), so this was a great resource for refreshing my memory. Thanks for all the effort you put in :)
Also I nice litle tip is to join as soon as possible the battleground in Cyrodill and do the mission "Welcome to Cyrodill" + One scouting mission to get the 30% mount movement speed bonus.
I made it all the way to the end. I've played for awhile, CP 700ish, but I still feel like I haven't hardly touched the game. There's just so much content, it's crazy.
thank you for taking the time making such informative content that can be used for years to come for this community your work does not go un noticed youve helped millions lucky... happy questing :)

Time stamps in description is SOOO USEFULL thank you!

Yeah your voice is eso to me, lol. You've been helping me since I first got my mothers sorrow from your route video! Glad you're still here!
Literally just started 3 days ago. This guide is a godsend

I’m not a beginner but I had to like and comment because Lucky’s ESO videos have guided me in the path through Tamriel for years.
5min in and my head is spinning. I'm a beginner in eso and I hope my money was worth it, I'm sure it was. I'm so excited to get into a NEW world. Wish me luck💚
Same bro GOOD LUCK I STARTED TODAY LOL
Don't rush, just play the game and everything will become clear. I started playing about 8 years ago. It's fun
Started 3 months ago, soo much to learn!! Just got use to picking locks!! Took me awhile!! Now I’m just going around gathering/ questing
This HAS to be the most complete guide EVER made on any games EVER. INSANE video. Well done and thank you.
I've been playing this game since it launched. I find your content very helpful because I take breaks sometimes a year apart. Every time I come back I hope that the Craft Bag is no longer behind a paywall, but alas, I doubt that will ever be

try joining a guild and making few friends, solo experience will bore you out

Same I missed the transfer from PC to console and all my friends moved to console so I stopped playing.
I have over 10k hours, almost max cp on Xbox and Max cp on PC and still watched through this. Nice vid!
Me watching this video with 1,100 hours 😭
Hey, returning player, have not played since first release of ESO.. This video was SUPER helpful. Thank you for taking the time to go over all this so completely.
Glad you enjoyed it!

edit: the market is broken ? or the game is dying ?
when the game went free on Epicgames I said to a friend, this is short-lived sunshine, when new players realize that if they don't buy the subscription and without it they will be playing two games at the same time, one Backpack Simulator (you waste a lot of time instead of playing the game itself) and the other TESO, I know a lot of gamers refuse to pay for subscriptions for various reasons, one reason being that TESO, like many other games of the same type, when the servers are shut down, the people who bought the game and the dlc's will never be able to play the game again...
As a returning player who hasn't played in years - this video is an amazing refresher and intro into all the changes since I last played. Thank you!
Amazing video mate , alot of detail . Seriously thinking of going back to it after a long time away . This has helped hugely
Returning casual player here: I watched it all. Thank you for the help!
This has been so helpful. I've been a very casual player, usually I'll jump in for a few weeks around Christmas every year so I've never really felt like I've understood how the game works. This has made all the difference! Thankyou!
I need one of these for WoW retail!
I watched the 2022 version of the ESO video, and it's helped me a lot! Thank you!
Glad I could help!

Thank you.

Thank you so much !!
I just got back into the game recently upon getting a steam deck. This video has been so awesome. Thank you. Watched the whole thing.
Same it's awesome relearning the game
Started playing 2 days ago and am SO GRATEFUL for this channel and content. Subscribed. Thank you ❤
Brand new player here. ~LoriAnne
Great Video, as a returning player i have rewatched this 2x to make sure i still get it, so much info dumped!!!!
Coming back to ESO after several years. Amazing refresher, Extremely thorough, appreciate your work.
Did watch it till the end, one of the best guides I've seen about a videogame!!
thanks! glad you enjoyed it my man
I put 100 hours into the game back in 2020 and I'm coming back to it now after getting really into MMOs so this will be a great refresher!
Thanks for this! Just started playing yesterday and did a good chunk of High Isle but now going to Cold Harbour to experience it
All your videos are S tier but this one is above and beyond the norm..I can't imagine how much time and effort went into this.
Wow, thanks!
Played the game at launch and stopped about a year in but for some reason decided to give it a go again with the new expansion commin. Watched this video while it was installing and there was so much useful info so thank you so much for this.
Just started playing ESO, have been looking over your older guides so this video came at the perfect time :)
Finally a new video😊
Feels like an early Christmas gift. And for all the new players, i highly recommend Lucky's builds❗
Welcome back!
This guide was awesome, helped me a lot when I re-watched after I played through to about level 30
I love the time and effort you put into this much needed guide. Thank you this helps a lot it can be overwhelming when you first start
Just started yesterday. I’m hooked already and financially invested.
Thanks a bunch Bro for sharing that ;-)
Thanks for the kind words :))
Your videos took me from a noob to this game and know I’m queuing up and tanking dungeons , thanks bro 🎉
nice work man! I'm glad I was able to help!
I hope that everyone has an amazing 2024 and safe travels throughout the year. 🍀♾️❤️🔥
back at ya!
Incredible guide! I started playing casually with my wife, but I was so lost on how you were supposed to progress. Love your guides, you're the bomb!
Hi bud, I'm only level 30 after putting in 100h haha I was just appreciating all the little details of the game and exploring, before this video I had no idea the amount of content I was missing out on. Just wanted to say thanks from all us new comers 😅
Have fun!
I play since the beginning of ESO and I still like to watch those videos.
I just picked up the game on sale on steam. I’ve always been a big Elder Scrolls fan, but a bit hesitant to jump into the ESO. I always felt that it was too late to get started with it. This video definitely helped change my mind.
Thank you for this. ESO is such a struggle for me to get into and it’s so confusing at times. 🤭
Thank you for all you provide the ESO community Lucky, and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
thanks so much stagg! hope you enjoy the video!
It’s my 3rd day playing ESO thanks for the guide it was extremely helpful.
Cannot thank you enough for this and all of your superb ESO guides. I'm a returning player after a looong break and these have been so helpful getting me reacclimated. Great work!
Glad I could help!
Played a little a few years ago. Looking to get back into it. Top notch quality dude, thank you. Subbed
Glad you enjoyed it!
Considering coming back for a while. Either this or New World. Lots of good info for new/returning players!
I keep dipping my toes in this game but keep getting overwhelmed or confused what I am doing next, so thank you!
1:14:36 one lil tip I would say needs to be mentioned here is that some abilities also de-activate when u swap bars. Idk much about the game so far but I do know my summons disappear unless the ability is slotted on both bars, like my sorcerer summons or warden bear ultimate
good job man, ill keep coming back to this. brilliant for a new player
been trying to play eso on and off for years i used to be big on it back in the ps4 days but now as a pc gamer and missing like 5 expacs XD it's been great to watch this video as i feel i'm finally back to enjoying it like i once did.
Thanks! Coming back to the game after 4 years, needed some insight. This is a hell of a video you did!
Thanks so much!
Thanks to your guide I'm not a newbie anymore. Thanks a lot 👍
Welcome back! have fun, and thank you for the kind words!
Also I nice litle tip is to join as soon as possible the battleground in Cyrodill and do the mission "Welcome to Cyrodill" + One scouting mission to get the 30% mount movement speed bonus.
I just bought the game and I JUST found this video... yeah im not starting tonight lol I MUST watch this 3 hour video!! lol
I have watched this 18 times and still learning new stuff.
Downloading this game as i type and im pretty stoked for it, been a huge elder scrolls fan so have hope for this game!
I made it all the way to the end. I've played for awhile, CP 700ish, but I still feel like I haven't hardly touched the game. There's just so much content, it's crazy.
Absolutely most thorough guide out there! Thank you!
This video saved my game, I’ve been searching for something like this for a long while, thankyou 👍🏻
Glad I could help!
I'm watching this again now that i've started playing. This and your levelling guide are soooo good!

I just bought a PS5 to play ESO after reading it runs at 60fps upscaled 4K with HDR in performance mode ❤❤ sooo pretty
You helped me improve my enjoyment in the game. Thanks for this guide! I know it took a lot of time but it made my day!
