I need some stem cells on both of my rotators, I think. Docs says surgery wont make the left one any better, so looks like PRP / Stem Cells are the way to go.

Doctor! Do you recommend that patients wear a hard brace or orthopedic shoe after PRP injection of the ankle ligaments (ATFL, CFL)?

Is it safe to receive a round of cortisone shots 10 weeks after PRP? I feel that my PRP has healed shoulder rotator cuff posterior tendons a bit though caused some new bicep long head tendinitis that wont go away.

hello dear colleague, as you know the injection of PRP creates inflammation at the injection site for the proper functioning of platelets and its regenerative cells, so if you infiltrate corticosteroids it will stop this process so we will not have the results we want, friendly

on the other hand if it is after 10 weeks it is feasible, because from the 5th week we can make infiltrates either hyaluronic acid or corticoid

PRP is an effective treatment for rotator cuff tendons, but also for the whole shoulder. All the structures should be treated during a PRP treatment, this can include the bursa, biceps tendon, supporting ligaments, joints. You can get some prolotherapy in the biceps tendon supporting structures. If that is not available, a cortisone injection 10 weeks out is also ok
