I would love to see the follow up result from this procedure and learn more about it. I am 26 year old and I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis in both shoulders after steroid use prior to my stem cell transplant for MDS. Right now I am just living day by day without a plan in sight.

Fantastic job Dr Sebastian, efficient, expert, safe, clean, and professional, I feel the patients are in good hands, and as a rheumatologist in the stem cell therapy field I highly recommend you! I admire your work and I wish you and your patients the very best

I'm going through the same problem with my shoulder. Degenerative wear and tear, near full tear of my supraspinatus, as well as some osteoarthritis and other small tears in the surrounding area. I'm very interested in the stem cell treatment. Looking forward to seeing the video of your patient's recovery!

Glad I found you. What an awesome video! Thank you! About 2 weeks ago after lifting weights at the gym I heard a tearing through my headphones. After an MRI the results are this....1. Small focal full-thickness partial width tear of the anteriormost fibers of the distal supraspinatus tendon, with 2 cm retraction but no significant muscle atrophy
    2. Moderate subacromial subdeltoid bursitis
    3. Moderate osteoarthritis of the acromioclavicular joint, with extensive marrow edema in the distal clavicle and acromion-potentially secondary to the osteoarthritis, chronic repetitive microtrauma, or acute contusion
    4. Mild grade 1 strain of the anterior belly of the deltoid muscle
    5. Thickening and irregularity of the acromioclavicular joint capsule ligaments, potentially reflecting chronic scarring, though component of a mild acromioclavicular separation cannot be excluded and clinical correlation is needed
    6. Partial tearing of the intra-articular segment of the long head of the biceps tendon
    7. Mild osteoarthritis of the glenohumeral joint
    8. Chronic fraying and irregularity of the labrum, without evidence of acute- appearing labral tear. Do I need surgery or can I do PRP and stem cells only for a full recovery? Thank you!

Stem cells and PRP injections are a great treatment for rotator cuff tears, arthritis, labrum tear and biceps tears. We have seen many patient recover to normal function. Unfortunately, this is not a miracle cure. Since you have a 2cm retraction, you most likely will need surgery for full recovery, with a large retraction, I don't think PRP or stem cell would repair such a large tear. These regenerative injections would definitely help treat the other injuries in your shoulder.

@@sebastianklisiewiczintegra9805 Absolutely right the retraction of 2 cm would need surgery before the development of muscle wasting- the rest would benefit from stem cell plus PRP

Hi doctor can you please advise what is advantages of taking steam cell compared to PRP.

Bone marrow stem cells are more powerful than PRP as the stem cells can sense the environment and keep releasing growth factors (bioactive protesin) that stimulate regeneration. integrativerehabmedicine.com/fort-myers-naples-bone-marrow-stem-cells-injections

Hi Dr. where are you located? I would like to get something like this done. I was diagnosed with severe arthritis in my shoulder and was told I need a shoulder replacement but I would like to try this before going that route.

hi doctor,i have a question, can we inject the bone marrow aspirate directly without processing it? will it be alright?

    • @sebastianklisiewiczintegra9805
      @sebastianklisiewiczintegra9805  8 місяців тому

You can inject bone marrow without processing, but using a centrifuge concentrates the bone marrow cells, making it a more potent injection.

Hey Dr. I’ve been considering PRP injections for a small labral tear that occurred back in September 2022. My MRI diagnosis is the following: “AC joint is unremarkable. The rotator cuff musculature and tendons are intact. Long head of the biceps tendon is intact. There is some increased signal and mild irregularity involving the anterior superior labrum which I suspect is related to a small labral tear rather than sublabral recess on the coronal images. The posterior labrum is intact. Axillary recess is intact with no significant effusion. No loose bodies or osteochondral defects. The glenoid cartilage is normal.” There’s no clicking in my shoulder and rarely feel pain however, my shoulder can get weak from doing cardio and feels stiff/tight after. Can PRP help solve this?

PRP and prolotherapy injections can be a very effective non-surgical treatment of shoulder pain, shoulder weakness and shoulder instability. There usually is more to the picture than just a torn labrum. There may be instability of the shoulder do to the injury/stretch of the supporting ligaments and tendons along with the labral tear. This needs to be diagnosed with a good physical exam and proper history. Comprehensive PRP and prolotherapy of the shoulder along with properly guider physical therapy can treat many shoulder conditions. Dan is doing great, no longer has arthritis pain, some improvement in the range of motion, rotator cuff is doing great.
I will post results of Dan's stem cell treatment if I can get him on video again. Unfortunately some patient live far away from our clinic, making it hard to video a follow up.
I will be posting another shoulder treatment soon with results and all in one video, stay tuned :)
