There’s are different kinds of stem cells! The origin and how they’re kept makes a huge difference. Cryofreeze umbilical cord blood is what you want. 6 years ago I had stem cells extracted and reinjected into 4 disks in my lower back to re-inflate them. It was really successful and after 4 years I was getting tweeks so had them redone 2 years ago and haven't had any problem. I still workout and run with no issues.

its so funny you interviewed a 58 yr old firefighter named Denise, I am also a 58 yr old firefighter namded Denise up in Canada with severe OA of both knees and just been referred for TKR of both, I have NO desire to go thru TKR and would love to try stem cell but its not approved in Canada yet. Thank you for posting this video. I just recently completed a round of MSC (mesenchymal stem cell) IV exosomes for full-body tendon/connective tissue damage due to Cipro Toxicity. It's only been one month, but I can already tell I am healing. I had a shoulder labrum tear that had not been healing... just re-tearing every few days it seemed like. Within 10 days of taking the exosomes, the labrum is no longer tearing. Additionally, tendons all along my spine and shoulder girdles are healing! So thankful to live in the day of Regenerative Medicine (even though the FDA hasn't fully approved of it, yet.)

1 of my friends got 2 times a ADSC MSC +BPM2 treatment for his knee osteoarthritis(already got pain in his knee). That was 7 and 4 years ago respectively. Just spoke with him recently. He is fine. He does bodybuilding, leg workouts and Muay Thai. So kicking extensively. He is all good and symptom free. The key here is the added BPM2 protein! Although it comes with risks! But living pain free is awesome!

You can do Platelet Rich Fibrin injections as a maintenance every 6 Months, as it is anabolic, anti-catabolic and decreases inflammation in the synovium and in the joint in general!

Thank you for your video Dr. Yoni...you inspired me to travel to Dream Body Clinic and I had the same procedure you had done to my right ankle (I'm 37 years old and never healed properly from ankle sprains). I decided to try the procedure because my pain was pretty bad after significant exercise (tennis and/or jogging) but I didn't have pain while walking. Since the procedure 3 weeks ago I've had a lot of pain (and burning sensations) in my ankle from just walking around...I'm just wondering if you've heard of other cases where the pain gets much worse before it gets any better? At this point I'm just hoping my pain returns to pre-procedure levels to be honest.

I'm sorry to hear about your pain! I have not heard of cases where the pain gets much worse before getting better. Certainly, some people experience things like inflammation, swelling, soreness and muscle spasms after stem cell therapy and these considered "normal side effects". It appears that doctors there are more into just making a good living caring for other humans as opposed to just fattening their gold storage by overcharging for procedures. I have, in my many years, only ONE DOCTOR in the U.S.A. who told me if I could not afford to pay for the treatment he would still do it at no charge. I nearly fainted when I heard that. He was a cardiologist, and I wish he had been a general practitioner. God bless him!
Great question, Lisa T. I originally heard about Dream Body Clinic from a friend of mine. I had spoken with a few clinics in the United States (in Las Vegas & San Diego) and two others abroad. After speaking with people and attending presentations at these places, I made the choice to go with Dream Body because their knowledge of the science and explanation of clinical procedures resonated with what I was looking for. I am not aware of any forum or website that lists all the clinics in Mexico.
Yes, Alison - There are lots of clinics in Mexico the offer stem cell therapy. however, it's my understanding that fully licensed clinics are not that common.
That's a beautiful story, John. Sounds like your doctor has a heart of gold! In this case, the reason the clinic is in Mexico is because with proper authorization & licensing stem cells can be cultured and expanded in Mexico. Whereas in the US, that is not possible due to regulations.

To the lady that had stage 4 arthritic knee you give me hope ! I had a very successful autogulous stem cell procedure in 2014 with no joint space left at age 54. It took time but great ! I worked on my feet in healthcare for 30 yrs. But now my right needs it .. end stage arthritis but wondering if allogenic MSC’s would work well ? Were the stem cells that you received your own ? There's a lack of range of motion on my right arm can't get it all the way to the lower back as fluidly as my left arm. Problem seems to be in the right shoulder scapula due to an injury from bench press. Where you think I can get an injection on stem cells to reduce it? Been taken collagen that lessened the pain at least.
Good question, Joe. While stem cells are a great tool for some jobs, they are definitely not a "cure-all". The first step, is to get an accurate diagnosis for shoulder and determine whether or not it is the type of problem where stem cell therapy could help.

Had stem cells on my knee for torn ACL. It worked a miracle. 75% torn on the MRI. Intact ACL on the MRI a year and half later. It’s pricey, but glad I did it. My health, active lifestyle and career was a no brainer.

Thanks for asking! In this instance, I didn't get a post treatment MRI. As I stated in the video that rotator cuff tear happened back in 2007. What showed on the MRI 15 years later was some scar tissue inflammation & swelling in the area. So long after the injury there just wasn't much left to see in terms of structural damage - so a post-MRI was not warranted.

Great question! There are several clinics out there that have a really good reputation. Which is "best" will be determined by what issue or issues a person has and whether or not they match up with the offerings at that particular clinic.

I had Stem cell therapy in both my shoulder and ankle during the same visit. PRP was added to the shoulder injection.

I have looked at CPI superficially - I have not visited the clinic. Not really sure why the treatments they offer are so much more expensive than other reputable clinics in Mexico. I suspect it has something to do with the proximity to the US.

You said snowboarding injury. i know how it really feels bro. it was like muscle thread / fiber push it away until the proper point. it also brings the nerve so we can feel it. i am healing my muscle tear with a lot of challenging to find the right food pattern / diet. i consuming bcaa, l-lysine, vit d and so on. Of course i cannot afford for stem cell. I'm from Indonesia. The medical expert here cannot check it even with MRI. I'm really want to sharing my complete experience with u if u would. I have suffered from Cervicogenic headaches for 10 years - I tried Stem cel injections (my stem cels) into the neck and back (it was quite painful)- It has been 4 months with no relief at all - the headaches are now chronic... Please advise any suggestions you might have
Sorry to hear that. Without knowing exactly what the issue is in your neck it's difficult to say. However, cervicogenic headaches very often have a structural (posture) component and a functional (mechanical) component. Stem cells are not the right tool for dealing with either of those. I would recommend seeing a qualified practitioner in your area who is expert in rehabilitation of the neck.
Very interesting and so glad it helped you Yoni! Do you know if it could be used/helpful on a knee replacement? I’m 5 months post op and still having significant pain at times and having to use cane/crutches although can put full weight on leg.
I am a 66y/o Triple boarded Interventional Pain management Anesthesiologist that practices in my own independent clinic in the Kansas City area. I can tell you that the pain source not addressed by your surgery is the ligament instability of the joint and the nerves that supply that area. Knee pain is not just a simple joint cartilage that is worn out. Plenty of people walk around with "bone on bone" conditions and have no pain. I have addressed this in many of my patients with TKR's by doing PRP followed by 10% dextrose prolotherapy injections under ultrasound to the periarticular ligaments to cause the nerves to calm (they are living tissue too) and over time, tighten down and stabilize the joint.
@@paincare6577 it’s so interesting that you’d mention ligament instability because just earlier today I was wondering if it had something to do with not so much my knee, but the muscle issues I’ve had. I do have some joint hyper mobility, not to the extent of EDS but for instance I can touch my thumb to arm and easily touch floor with hand. I had this TKR only because I broke my femur and after it healed, could not come off of that leg after standing on it awhile without feeling much stiffness and muscle (or ligament?) pain in that leg. Doc looked at my knee x-rays from a couple years ago (I have had 6 previous knee ops decades ago) and the x-Ray did look very bad and he suggested I get it replaced to see if that helped this other pain as it “all works together.” It has helped that but the past 4 months I’ve had bad muscle spasms in quadriceps to the point almost fell several times. It’s no longer going into those bad spasms but does “catch” in various places and it seems to be when the leg is going into extension - it’s almost totally halted knee rehab other than I can do straight leg raises with weights. I was doing step ups until this started, so it hasn’t always been a problem, just past 4 months. I see the surgeon for one year visit next week so will tell him what you said. At 7 weeks had a manipulation under anesthesia for 70 degree flexion and although he barely had to push to undo scar tissue, my muscles were so painful afterwards, and black, I was 50 flexion by end of week. Worked so hard to get it back which I did, but dang, these muscles have been the bane of my recovery. Thanks so much for your reply! Oh, and my knee didn’t hurt all that much as one would think seeing x-Ray, so totally relate to your saying there can be bone on bone with no or in my case, little pain. This new knee as of now gives me more problems than the old one, but I’m hopeful in time I’ll be glad I did it.

Would stem cell therapy work for a sports hernia, or have you heard any positive results when injecting stem cells into torn tendons from a sports hernia? I used stem cells on my double inguinal hernia. When they presented I was among the lucky, for once, as they were not painful.
they were reduced in size considerably, and have continued to give me no trouble as I returned to maximum activity.
It's been about 18 months and I still feel that they are getting smaller but I will not have them imaged again unless I don't see a bulge for at least one month.
I'm hoping I can get there but they did get smaller and continue to be a non-factor; other than their existence.

Has anyone had success with healing bilateral hip tendonitis? I have struggled for 7 years and have already had PRP injections with no resolution. Totally plant-based and no dairy as well which has helped, but I still with pain that limits my workouts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

However, the most important thing with a chronic problem like tendonitis is identifying and eliminating the cause would be essential. Regenerative medicine is a relatively new field and I don't know that the "most effective" treatment has been established. Clinics in different parts of the world do things very differently - a treatment in the US or Canada looks nothing like a treatment in Mexico or Central America - in terms of the type of cells, the source of the cells and the cost. I recommend getting multiple opinions on your condition from several clinics. Ask what they can do for you and ask for references for other people that have had the same procedure.

Stem cell therapy has proven to be effective in cases like yours. However, it would also be important to determine the cause of the left knee issue. Is there a history of injury? Is there some biomechanical problem at the feet and/or pelvis. Ideally those issues would be identified & corrected before doing anything else.

Really hoping it works, I have been dealing with neck issues and shoulder issues for 3.5 years now! I used to be super active, running, zip lining, working out and now I can’t do much with my upper body! Frustrating!
