'Fourth Rendez-Vous' was taken from Jean-Michel Jarre's 8th studio album and was released as a single in April 1986.
Originally, the album was to feature a saxophone part played by astronaut
Ron McNair. It was to be the first music recorded in space. However, McNair lost his life in the Challenger shuttle disaster. Subsequently, the album track was dedicated to McNair and the crew of Challenger
