Appreciate this! I haven't done this since the 70's when I used to help my Dad do this kind of work. I am beginning a restoration project on his old 72 Grand Prix. The roof has a vinyl top and there is a LOT of rust under it, and I'm sure many holes. I just couldn't remember how to do this, thanks a bunch!!
Thanks. I've been. Usy with travel this year and haven't been able to put out alot of videos. The schedule lightens back up after SEMA and I'll be rolling out more
😮Hello Jeremy i messaged you about a week ago, any advice on removing the metal interior panels on my 63 Nova (drivers rear) to figure out why the window is not rolling down. Thank you very much
On the 81 pontiac bonnneville I have the rain gutter trim came off easy just removed the 2 end pieces and the center piece rocked off with little to no effort.
Jeremy do you have any videos on removing the chrome pieces off the bottom of the doors on a 81 pontiac bonnneville? At first I was going to tape them off but saw some rust behind one. Not sure how to remove them and they look in great shape so I would like to re use them.
@@inthehomeshopI’ve been staring at the drip rail trim on my 67 GTO for a month. It’s in perfect shape and I didn’t want to ruin it trying to figure out how to take it off. Thanks
We'll find out when the car is finished! lol No, to put on it clips back in reverse of how it came off. Well, let's say it *should* do like that. lol. We all know dealing with cars and how things don't always go how they're supposed to! lol
thanks for taking the time and sharing your tips and tricks on how to get this off it's much appreciated
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Thank you, your method worked perfectly I think I got both sides removed in less than 20 minutes and no damage!
Just like anything, gotta go slow and trust the process. Glad it worked!
I did this just now on my 66 Buick and it worked perfectly!!!! Thank you.
Boom!!!!
Thanks mate! You just saved me from making a mistake

Glad I could help!
That was a great video of how to do it correctly and save the trim. Thank You.👍🏻
Thanks. There's lots of ways, I just showed what I was taught and works well for me. Glad it helped!

Great video...I'm taking apart a 63 Impala and was stumped as to how to remove this trim without mangling everything
Take your time. Not everything is the same!
@@inthehomeshop Trust me, taking my time hasn't been a problem. As I see it, your technique should work for the trim I've been stuck on.

Great video!! No fluff... We didn't have to listen to how it's your dad's car, what he did for work and how much it means to him.... 😂
