When I was an apprentice, one of my 1st prep assignments was removing all the trim off a '67 Chevelle convertible. I was given 2 rules, figure out how to remove them and do not damage anything 😬 Somehow I pulled it off.
Some really good info there Pharraway, I've seen a lot of people use fishing line to get behind the stick on decals and trims as it will just cut through the adessive, thanks for sharing your expertise👌🙏👍John UK
For the window trim would you know if they did it the same way for the 67? I've just bought one but I will want to paint it black and need to remove the trim as much as possible.
Always remove everything possible….it’s the first step to a great paint job. Keep the vids and info coming Pharraway 🤝

Pute some body sealer along the drip rail paint over it
Real body shops remove the trim that's how I was taught
