Damn Laughing Lucy, take the stick out your booty and lighten up. I'm pretty sure you KNEW she wasn't being literal. And maybe notifications to remind her about a positive podcast from helps her to stay balanced. I have tried to make a habit of praying, meditating, maybe listen to a spiritual podcasts or two, before I go about my day. It's healthier then waking up and reaching for the phone to check Facebook before even using the bathroom. It's MUCH healthier than taking time to write a judgemental , negative comment under someone's positive post. So there's that

Feel like a load of weight has been lifted off of me. It is such a simple switch in the mindset, yet so powerful. Thank you for allowing me to set myself free. You are both beautiful souls. Depression and anxiety is there same as good thoughts also reside within our brains.
It depends on us to question why we think what we think. If we can wake up each day and do what we do then we do not have a weak brain. It's all our choice, and we can think what we want to. Make your choices.

How wonderful,, IMO Jay and Katie both have some of the most beautiful, naturally sparkling eyes. I wonder if it's a quality of the enlightened 🤔🤔?? You know what they say: 'Eyes are the windows to the soul"😇😁😊 , Such a beautiful view looking through these windows. Katie's violet color, Liz Taylor vibe , eyes. and Jay has a unique hazel/green/ grayish hue, it's hard to really identify exactly the color which makes them even more hyptnotizing. Love, Love , Love!!! Beautiful podcast, I was feeling very low, just left the house crying after a huge argument with my daughter and I did some of The Work in my head (I'm driving yall, can't write) and it really helped me see a different perspective. I cant wait to get home and see what comes out of writing this problem out. I'm less tense, my neck and shoulders aren't as tight. I've learned so much from you Katie and am glad that searching for you introduced me to Jay. Love -corrina

I'm in a weird situation with a man.
    I think I love him,
    but... I don't know
if this thing we have is actually healthy,
or really just another trauma bond.
I need prayers. Him and I both do,
that whatever this is between us,
will ultimately be for our own healing.
And that we will co-create something
that is loving and magical and beautiful
and happy and wonderful and miraculous
    and healthy, together.

Thank you, subscribed. I liked your feelings of prayer at the end. To speak about emotions as it is what Jesus made us. I used to feel guilty less often but since turning to Christ and church groups I have started to feel guilty more often, and you know what - it is for the better. When driving away from Jesus I feel more confident but when returning to church, the guilt comes back. At church we bring it up sometimes and our group agreed that part of faith is to celebrate our guilt, because it keeps us clean and beneath Him. Encouraging guilt is be part of our Christian culture that we inherited. I would not be ashamed of guilt as it is part of being a good Christian, and those that are not guilty might not be forgiven and thus might not reach heaven. I myself often have guilty feelings of not enough faith in God but I use this guilt to ask for forgiveness so I can be saved. I don’t think we should try to overcome our guilt but recognise it as part of being a Christian, even if it is difficult to live with. Even if we feel worse with this guilt, it I better to have it and know that we are true Christians. It brings us down, but it brings us together. Together, and down. Amen.

what about a child then ... children dont ahve stories ... they have a natural response to sensations relating to their environment ... if there was trauma, a child doesnt say to itself .. 'oh I cant trust my parents, they are supposed to care for me and they hurt me ... they are just feeling sensations or fear, shock, confusion, pain .... they dont create the thoughts around such experiences, only the adult mind looking BACK on the experience creates the thoughts .. so how can any of what they are speaking of relate to childhood trauma, which happens on a deeper level.

    1. when you question your thought you don't suffer but when you believe your thought you suffer.
    2. if you are dealing with trauma go back and meditate to the thing you were thinking and believing that caused the trauma
    3. what we are attracted to is what we are thinking and believing
    4. be in the present. example: as you are reading this you must not be somewhere else at the same time. don't be in the present, in the past, and in the future at the same time

This is basically Buddhism in a nutshell. The only thing I will say to someone suffering is what she figured out is usually much more of a process than just an instant realization. So if you are suffering what she is talking about is basically the way. Just don’t get frustrated if it takes you much more time. Also, get in touch with the body. That’s where all the emotions are stored.

what if you cannot remember the trauma or were too young to know what you were thinking or feeling then ... as a child you are not thikning and believing .. you are feeling sensations based upon traumatic experience ... so I dont think you can use this for childhood trauma .. any words we put to it are overlays by our present adult mind ...they keep taking about thinking 'this person is someone I should trust and yet they hurt me ' etc ... and that means our THOUGHTS are about not being able to trust .. but a child donest have those thoughts !!! its just a physcial sensation of shock or truama .. they arent analysing their feelings with thoughts

The Royal Gamerzz by what I read in your comment, its seems to me you are not content with yourself being shy. You also feel shameful or doubt yourself, because you believe you are bad with girls. Ask yourself, why are you shy? Why do you think you are shy? Is it because you want the other person to approve of you? Especially when its a girl!? Does it feel like your brain shuts off when you talk to those people?
The bottom line is that if you are shy, own that. You can always change and improve your qualities as time goes by, for instance just asking a stranger for the time (even if you know the time), just to get used to striking up conversation. But it helps first owning your shyness, to its fullest, you being 100% content with that. It’s not something that is “bad”. If you start with that attitude and then work towards attaining more social freedom, the road towards that will be a lot more joyful and fun. You will enjoy the process. The process will actually become a lot easier for you. You wont beat yourself up to much when you make a mistake. Get rid of being perfect. It doesn’t exist. It only exists in the magazines and movies where all you see is this false image of beauty and charisma. You go at your own pace my friend. I know you can do it. It’s doesn’t have to be a strenuous mission to fix your qualities you wish were better.
Heck, I also have a lot of qualities I wish i could still improve on, and I will. I will make a conscious effort to do so, and not let fear hold me back. But at the end of the day, don’t do any of this for other people. I mean, improving yourself that girls will like you more. Because this will not serve you. Do the improvements to server YOURSELF, then you will be amazed how the girls will follow. Without you even trying.
You don’t need tips on how to become better, you need to embody the will and desire to become better.
I hope this makes sense. Much love bro, peace

Telling yourself you are shy isnt a helpful thought. Accept yourself as you are. Introverts are just that: not extroverts! Someone's got to do the listening !! Try focussing outward." Is this girl someone I like? What qualities do we share, what interests do we share? Do I like HER ?" Focus outward. Comb your hair, do whatever physically you can do outwardly, and then forget your appearance. Focus outward. Pay attention to what is around you , and your gut reactions. ~ fellow introvert

You are going to have to figure out a way around it. I was shy all through highschool and it kept me from so many things. Now I cold call people and go to people's homes and meet in person for a living. First thing I can think is take quick action. See a girl, think you want to say hi. Take action within 3 seconds or your brain will shut you down. Taking quick action overrides that and puts it in play before it has a chance to shut you down. Hope that helps.
