Thanks for giving me a clue. Tonight I will assist my lady in doing this for the 1st time. I call it true love. Good boyfriends are supposed to do this stuff.
Steve T that’s so cute! How did it turn out? :))
❤
i think if i teach him he might still not do it lmao
I'm here for the same reason lol
I'm doing it for my mum today. She can't afford to go out and pay nearly $200 so time to step up
My wife is trusting me for the 2nd time to bleach her hair but in 3 sections and im nervous this time. . your tutorial gave me a clue on how I should wrap it up her hair i was a lost cookie 😂 thank you 👍🏻 and wish me luck
Thanks for this very informative video. I'm addicted to watching highlight videos because I feel it's one of the most requested service in the salon and knowing all of these tips help with bleeding of the foils:)
Amazing 😍😍👌 really ❤️ ❤️❣️
Hairdresser once didnt use foils and second time she did when she used foil it was lighter and better
Thanks so much for this, very informational! 😍😍
Thank you for this great video!
Aluminum foil works great. I use. Paper cutter and cut my own
Thanks for this video❤️ I've learned a lot
If they wrap I colored ends inside foil can it still be damaged? Also is it possible to highlight without overlapping previous highlights?
loved this video!!!!
I'm going to talk my friend into letting me color her hair, this video is my only training and reference, wish me luck y'all
were u able to color her hair properly? lmaooo
@@Cam-nn1kp spent about 30min in a Sally beauty supply asking questions left with a bag full of products overall my friend had very low expectations but I got the color close to what she wanted. I didn't do a lot of highlights so it was a more basic coloring. Bleaching was my biggest fear but I timed it carefully so it came out alright. Not sure I'd want to do it often though, but if you have a friend that is reasonably intelligent and analytical I think you can trust them to do what I did and you'll be reasonably happy
How to stop the foil from slipping down?
Great tutorial
this is super super helpful
Can I buy food wrapping foil? And is 30cm roll enough for an ombre look for medium length hair ? Can any one help?
Awwww Ty!!!😍❤️💜💚💙❤️❤️💜❤️
Could you use regular tin foil like at the grocery store like if u we’re doing an at home hair dye kit
Olivia Irick I wouldn’t because that foil is a lot thicker so it create to much heat if that makes sense
You could, but applying a lot of foils could start to slip (causing yellow or orange roots and bleach/color bleeding)because that type of foil can get very heavy, especially if you decide to use a lot in one session.
Only use Reynolds and dull side to hair
This hair lightener says not to use metal utinsels.... why? Does that include aluminum foil?
Some metals react terribly with metals. But foil is okay.
Excellent 👍
Love your videos & enjoyed meeting you at Premier Orlando :))
Does hair color bleed when rinsed after foil has been done
Depends on the color. Red tones definitely can stain highlighted pieces for example
love foils capes and hott hairstylist
+Brandon Gaddy Thank you!
+Colortrak I can't wait to go to beauty school and get beautitized
Interesting.
I feel like there are more dad's in this comment section and that's not fair.
Now you see,, I'm on my own, no one helped me with my hair so obviously i couldn’t make it.
vaooooo☺
Can I use aluminum foil
Stacey Pell that’s what I’m doing. I’ll find out the hard way
yes you can
Did any one notice he folded the foil towards him then he is applying the agent then the confusing part is when he takes the tail of the comb lift the foil and tuck it closer to the scalp.
Very confusing for a novice colorist .
Dave Olep I’m sure by now u have tried it! But if not I can say all that tedious folding is NOT as easy as they make it look!! If it’s a big deal to have the color right at the root then u should practice without the dye first! For me, I just went back and touched up closer to scalp. Besides I looked like a monster from a b rated horror with wads of foil in my head!! I got so aggravated I started just crunching up hair in the foil however it would hold and honestly I will never pay 120+ for highlights again!!! Note my hair is almost to my waist so that is an extra headache. Remember u can fix it if u don’t like it anyways

I'm on a tight budget. Does it really make a difference if I use bought foils or just plain old tin foil?? And if so why
You can use the same thing! Its all aluminum foil.
@@MiaaxXx thanks👍😉
@@MiaaxXx which side of the foil do you use? Shiny or dull in contact with the hair?
@@DebRoo11 In my experience, it never really matters which side.
damn thats too much work i just dipped my entire head into bleach cream and wrapped myself an anti 5g tinfoilhead haha
You get hot roots in that way. It will become lighter close to the head because of the heat of the scalp.
Won't this result in hotroots?
No.
I assume that happens mostly with bleaching the hair
