@@randymillhouse791 well, in legally blonde the woman (the actual murderer) specifically said she was washing her hair and that’s why she hadn’t heard the murder. Molybdomancer that’s speculation. What parent wouldn’t think that their child was innocent. It wasn’t until later they found out he tried to have the killed. The other issue is the money for the children was probably put into a trust so no one could touch it till they were 18 or 21

I feel so sad for the kids. They had their mother ripped away from them only to be left with their sadistic father..then forced to live with their grandparents and go through all that drama of yelling and screaming.
This sounds A LOT like the Ed Post/Julie Post story. He drowned her in the bathtub of Omni Hotel in St. Louis then went out for a jog. He made sure to talk to the concierge and doorman as an alibi then went to the room and called the police. His whole deal was that “she slipped, caught the metal guard but it came off the wall so she fell, hit her head and died.” She had life insurance ($700k) which he got and almost got away with it (death was ruled an accident), but of course he got greedy and tried to sue the hotel for a shit ton of money too. After police found out about the life insurance and lawsuit, they did a second autopsy. Now he is rotting in prison! 🙏
Like a weirdly perfect combination between the Ed Post case and the Stacey Castor case, where the mother killed both her first and second husbands, and then tried to murder her daughter and frame her for her own father's death (the first husband).
Imagine if someone starts a channel talking about near-death cases where the victim survives. That would be a pretty good niche as well, not to mention uplifting.
Been saying this for 20 years now. Maybe people will finally wise up! Backgammon is, and always has been, a gateway game that pushes people to become the most heinous versions of themselves.
My cousin introduced me to backgammon when I was about 7 years old. Within a few month I was shooting heroin between my toes, while carjacking people to support my backgammon habit.
Perhaps I didn't understand completely 🤷♀️, but based on the text of who was speaking, it seemed to me that it was the father who actually brought the daughter into the room. I assumed the parents just wanted to make a point, that the money 💰 he was running around with wasn't his to spend, and rightfully belonged to his children. Doesn't make it right, no one should ever bring children into adult arguments 💯.

The prosecution kind of assumed the pile of circumstantial evidence was enough, and thus failed to present a cogent story of the murder. They just kept saying kids shouldn't be duct taped while Biaz played havoc with the underpinnings of their case, creating doubt all over the place.
The conversation probably went something like: " So, what are you going to do about your parents Rod?" " Well, I've bought a black- man wig and makeup, and when my Mom answers the door I'm gonna TaeKwondo her DEAD. " " You better not. " " I'm going to. " " Don't..." " OK. "
When I was an incorrigible youth, I would be sitting around drinking when some schemes were hatched and talking testosterone infused idiots out of shit was a regular occurence. But these were friggin teenagers!!!
I worked in a county jail, and when we received the inmate as soon as they could they would call a family member or friend and proceed to curse and threaten them, whereas you would think that they would be kind and loving since they might post their bond. That’s what this guy reminds me of, his wife is supporting him, he can come and go do whatever he wants all he has to do is help with the kids and be respectful of her. And since she loved her kids she would of supported him for however long it took for the kids to graduate and go to college, and he screwed that up. I’m so glad he didn’t get the kids, although his parents weren’t cutting him a break and kicked him out telling him that he’s no good for anything and he wasn’t getting the kids. I think he would have killed his parents to get too not the kids but their inheritance. He would have got insurance for them and thrown them off a bridge or something. He is without a doubt escalating because it was just a few days before she changed her will, she suspected something. What a waste, I hope he has to stay in protective security which is a lockdown 23 hours a day.
My mind began to think why don't these losers ever consider the option of being agreeable, caring and showing that they want what's best for their family under the circumstances (either before OR after he may or may not have killed his wife), as a means to his end ie to get what he wanted. Plotting and scheming like a crazy person as he did is never going to look good! But if he actually stopped being an a**hole for a moment, he might have had a chance of getting his kids and their money....not that I condone that result but it always astounds me how stupid these people are, like more crime and murder is going to work out for them!!

This is like when Elle (“Legally Blonde”) knew her client was innocent because her step daughter claimed to be in the shower at the time of the murder. Elle knew that was a lie because she had just gotten a perm and every woman knows you can’t wet your hair so soon after a perm.
Your genius is showing girl.. your right
So what? A person can shower without wetting their hair.
@@randymillhouse791 well, in legally blonde the woman (the actual murderer) specifically said she was washing her hair and that’s why she hadn’t heard the murder. Not to mention that I use a shower cap if I don’t want to wet my hair, particularly if I just blew $500 on a treatment/process. Such a sad case but I giggled at the part about her getting a keratin treatment the day before ruling out her decision to go in the bath because it sounded so much like the defense Elle Woods used in Legally Blonde to win her case. Molybdomancer that’s speculation. What parent wouldn’t think that their child was innocent. It wasn’t until later they found out he tried to have the killed. The other issue is the money for the children was probably put into a trust so no one could touch it till they were 18 or 21

Better than foster care
That greed'll get ya!
Like a weirdly perfect combination between the Ed Post case and the Stacey Castor case, where the mother killed both her first and second husbands, and then tried to murder her daughter and frame her for her own father's death (the first husband).
Post got his crime past the police. He was really pressing his luck when he brought insurance investigators into it. Major miscalculation.

This is just Mike dragging backgammon for 22 minutes, and I am here for it!
Love the Christmas music! 😂
I’m on a four day binge of watching Mike & just can’t seem to get enough!!
“Miles away...across the hall” 😂😂
This man got to play backgammon and do Karate in the garage all day and he still wasn’t happy?
