My cousin's granddaughter & grandson was in the apt where their mom was murdered. Granddaughter was 5 and grandson was 1 1/2 years old. They didn't witness it but when the girl woke up, she went into her mom's bedroom. There was a pillow over her so the girl pulled it off. Her mom's head fell forward. The girl went into her brother's room, somehow got him out of the crib and they went to a neighbor's and said she couldn't get her mom to wake up. She remembers that. I can't imagine what these girls are going to go through.

I wish he was a street guy or ex con and during his victim impact snuck a little razor in with him and got to get a few good slices to the piece of shits whole side of his face.. that would have been so satisfying…. They are both guilty for sure, but even the most well adjusted teenager's brain isn't fully developed yet and won't be until approximately 25 years of age. This difference between an adult and adolescent brain especially pertains to the prefrontal cortex, the 'rational' part of the brain responsible for good judgement and awareness of long-term consequences. And for a teen that had been through the trauma she had, to then be exploited sexually and otherwise by a father figure? Yeah, I think he is a tad more culpable here.

Poor little Sabrina. "I was (sob, sob) MANIPULATED into doing it." Sabrina, darlin', if you are doing this because someone manipulated you into doing it I would think three or four stabs would have been all that would have been necessary and would have satisfied the person who was doing the manipulating. But dearest, you stabbed her 178 times! That is not manipulation! That is dear old Sabrina wanting to make sure this woman is dead so you can step into her shoes and take over her life. Yep, you're young. So? All that means is that you're a young POS!
Every time I watch a case as disturbing as this one where the bad guys are so terribly despicable, I find myself wondering if the defense attorneys rush out of the courtroom to take a shower to try to get the stench from their client off of them or are they so lacking in morals that it doesn't bother them to represent slime like this. I know that everyone is entitled to be represented but there is no way I would take a piece of trash like this as my client. I saw an attorney once who was forced by the judge to take a case like this but he talked his client into pleading guilty and then all of his time in trial was spent explaining why his client should receive a life sentence instead of being sentenced to death. He was one of those rare birds that I personally have seldom seen...a lawyer with integrity.

Alot of them are brilliantly manipulative, but not so much rational. This is why alot of killers get caught (take Jeffrey Dahmer or Ed Kemper) for example. They get so caught up in their craft, so consumed by their abilities, that they get too cocky. Their relationship with him is completely different to mine.

Okay... so his defense attorney names off 3 victims, including KEVIN- didn't she have 2 daughters? Like, there was the little girl in the wardrobe, but there's also the girl who made the phone call. Why would he only name one of the kids? I'm very confused about that statement, maybe it was just an oversight on his part. But you don't leave out one of the kids and include the shitty husband as a victim. What about the girl who had to call 911 about her sister stabbing her mom to death? She sounded pretty fucking upset, I think she should be considered a victim as well.
