Hey! I just wanted to say that you should try substituting steak for fish and other seafoods and poultry high in fat and omegas. It’s nice to change it up, as long as you’re meeting your protein it’s actually better for you to explore seafood and heart healthier meat alternatives!
Reconsider the western carnivore theory of Seafood.
It is not recommended for autoimmune healers based on Hungarian AI research foundation & founder Dr.Zsophia Clement. She proved eating four leggeds meat & fats cures epilepsy, then applied it to find, most autoimmune disorders will resolve! But she’s not positive about fish or chicken which has very poor nutrition comparatively.
I have to say.....been researching carnivore diet...and i noticed that altho the youtubers experienced amazing results...to me they don't look healthy. I found the opposite with ketovores. I LOVE the recipes, the youtubers look more vibrant and happy and i think its a more realistic way of eating that i can def sustain!!!!....its def ketovore for me...im sold!

I LOVE that you eat 3 meals a day. It seems EVERYONE in the keto/carnivore world only eats 1 or 2. I feel like I need 3 or at least a small snack between meal 1 and 2. I guess im super active or something...or maybe I just like to eat. lol. But I get hungry after my workouts and don't want to starve myself trying to fast for 16plus hours like everyone suggests. I usually make it 14 hours. Anyone else??
yes I was actually pregnant when I filmed this video so I was definitely eating 3 meals a day - I sometimes still do haha. You have to adjust the portion size accordingly but nothing wrong with eating 3 times a day if that's what works for you!
I call my diet "carnivore light".....I also include nuts+fatty youghurt, avocado, olives and coffee+fatty milk in my diet

I went from Keto to carnivore and lasted one day. It was just too intense for me. I went to Keto from low carb with no problem. I love meat so thought carnivore would also be no problem. Wrong! I think I am somewhere between Keto and ketovore. I love avocado, salad greens, and fresh blackberries. Even some cheeses have carbs. I stay under 20 carbs. These few things keep me on Keto and if it takes me a tiny bit longer to accomplish so be it. I am also probably not as clean of a keto eater as some. I love coffee drinks and there are so many flavors that are sugar/carb free that I can have one maybe once a week. I always check ingredients to make sure because I am sensitive to some things that will send BS up.

carnivour is a very boring diet
Just don’t like meat or rich foods very much and certainly not twice a day.
I used to eat like this, lost 70 lbs. in the first year. I could eat as much of the Keto friendly stuff I wanted. However, I became a Dad and started gaining again by eating junk and carb-laden foods because they’re faster and easier. I hope I can get back to it.
Looking forward to this video. I will say from the beginning that Dr Ken Berry says counting only "net carbs" is 100% silly... Need to count all carbs... Not just "net".

I do this, I eat mainly meat but I also eat fermented foods, vegetables, kombucha, sourdough, raw kefir.
I make all of it at home so I know what’s in them🙌🏻 🤍

@@AliceAndKev wow I was strict carnivore for the last year and I went into a terrible ulcerative colitis flare in rheumatoid arthritis flare, just got out of the hospital after a month, that’s why I am introducing the fermented stuff, I want to see if it helps my gut, get back healthy
@@carnicavegirl7214 Hunh??? I hate to be skeptical but if you were ONLY eating meat and salt and drinking water, it is HIGHLY doubtful you would have triggered RA or the colitis. That's NOT how that works. I've watched Mikhaila Peterson enough to know that you added stuff into that that was NOT meat.
As well...I might "buy" the kefir and kombucha along with some lactofermented vegetables...but the very minute you added sourdough in, you are not doing any sort of ketovore...just some random take on fermented foods because sourdough has carbs...and gluten.

I’m not sure where you are getting your keto information from but the best tip is to keep it simple, like way simple. Cook your favourite meats is healthy fats, keep your vegetables green and above ground and no sugar or seed oils. I add lots of eggs and some cheese. Get your basics down then you can move on to more in depth information. In the beginning all you have to do is focus on keeping your carbs under 25. That’s it 😊

Great meal ideas! I'm a two meal a day person, but I think one of yours would last me all day! The ribs look great. I feel like I have been eating way too much I see this and I'm like wow I need to cut back lol.
Experimenting with low carb diets and the one i settled on is pretty much this. Mostly meat and fish. Some low carb veggies. Herbs and spices. Coffee. Eggs. No cow dairy because its the worst for my stomach and skin but sheep and goat cheese is fine. Under 50g of carbs every day. Where we differ is fat percentages. Im not measuring those.

I've been trying carnivore the zero carb version and I only did it for for days I had too much headache. Im determined to do it again but with a bit more inclusion of veg
Hey there, if you are transitioning from a high carb diet it can take weeks for the withdrawal symptoms (like headache) to go away. In our experience it actually took 4-6 weeks for us to get fat adapted but we were coming off a very high carb diet (probably around 250-300g of carbs a day). Hope that helps!
@@AliceAndKev that's much be it I'm Indian and we live on rice and veg. It's just the nausea mornings are great but later on just feel sick throughout the day

But eggs do have net carbs. Here in Australia all the cartons of eggs have nutritional tables and they usually say around 1.5g net carbs per two eggs.

Great video! I saw that it appeared thee chuck roast was cooking for 9 hours in the slow cooker(?). What temperature was that at(maybe slow cookers do not have an exact temperature. How would you cook that in a standard oven? Thanks if you answer. Video was well thought out and good.
Thanks for watching! We put in the slow cooker for 9 hours on low heat. It is quite a forgiving recipe, I would just check around 7-8 hours to see if it is tender enough for you. We haven’t tried it in the oven before, would you like us to give it a try and let you know?
