- Today we are preparing Turkish Bread - Vegan Recipe. Turkish bread is also known as Bazlama or Turkish Flat Bread. It will be the most delicious and easy bread you will ever make.
Turkish bread is commonly eaten sliced and dipped into food such as hummus, as a base for toppings, or as a sandwich. This is a very easy, quick and simple recipe to prepare the Turkish Bread at home. You can always prepare the turkish bread without the oil, totally doable. I love to pair these with some Indian curries or chutneys and you can use them as a base for other recipes too. Turkish bread is traditionally cooked in hot clay ovens but we are preparing this on a flat pan. This Turkish bread is probably the most delicious and easy bread you will ever make.

That's really good to know :) are you going to prepare it or going to a restaurant?

What are the mixed herbs?
Dried oregano, rosemary and sage
The extra 66grams of water for dough mixture that you didnt show going into doigh mixture but did write on recipe. It makes it too watery. Is there a possibility it was less than 66grams?
What's vegan sugar, isn't normal white sugar vegan?
Not always Sanjay, because at some places they use animal bonechar to filter it. That is why it is specifically mentioned
@@Foodotomic thanks for the info!!
@@sanjayb212 my pleasure :)
Don't know what i did wrong but my dough turned out very tough 😕
Oh that's really sad to know, you can try to add a little bit of more water and knead it more to make it softer
@@Foodotomic I'll try that.. thank you for replying 🙏🏽
@@YoJianneity I hope it works :) all the best
Mine didn’t work :( I had no air bubbles come up either while cooking.
oh that's so sad to hear, what exactly happened? Did the dough rise properly? trying to understand which stage it might have gone wrong
@@Foodotomic it rose a little but not too much. I found after I added ingredients in mixture it was hard like wasn’t easy to knead. I did use whole meal flour and I used extra virgin oil and oat milk I’d that made a difference ! But once cooked it was more stiff and dry and there was no bubbles coming through when I had it cooking on the pan
It worked this time!!! Yay!! It’s amazing!
@@chantelgraham7941 Thanks for sharing your feedback Chantel, I missed your previous comment. So what did you changed this time for the recipe?
@@Foodotomic I used plain flour instead of whole meal and I used a rolling pin and didn’t let the oil and other ingredients sit in the flour mixture while waiting for the yeast to activate. I activated yeast first then just before the timer went off I put all the other ingredients into the bowl. 💜
