Oh my gosh, you’re sitting in a bathtub with no water, clothes on, eating an apple, reading a book, lol, I’m dying over here. This made my day, thank you
I am post Mormon and listening to part two kind of blows my mind. So young and inexperienced. I'm so so glad that everything has worked out for the two of you gals.
@@Hakagureno, dearie, they mean the two women you see talking in the video. If you can't wrap your head around that, watch the various videos of the channel without commenting until you get enough education to know what you're talking about.
Very Mormon!! My hubby & I met when I was 8 & he was 10. His older brother was doing splits with the missionaries and helped teach my parents the discussions. We never dated growing up. He went on a mission to CA & I went to BYU (far from home, we are from Maryland). He came out to BYU to visit his brother (there are 7 of them) & that’s when the sparks started. He went home to MD & started calling me. By the time I came home for summer we had planned our first date. 3 weeks later we were engaged. 🤣 Been married 33 years! Stopped going to church in 2020. Thank you internet & Gospel Topic Essays…..
What a terrific role model you have for your kids. 1) Being different is ok. 2) Love in a marriage means your want your partner to be healthy and happy! Amanda made a choice that she wanted her partner to be happy and healthy within their marriage. i also believe that Shaye does the same for her.
Sharing your love story is so sweet and such an honor. My heart goes out to Shaye having to go away for two long years on a mission, and all the structure that went along with it. My heart also goes out to Amanda, waiting for so long, and when the letters stopped coming, she felt abandoned and hurt. Amanda put up a wall so that wouldn't happen again, (but luckily the parents knew better, lol), and in time you both found a way back into each other's life. Amanda didn't mention if the voice she heard was hers, but with a thought that didn't feel she said, or a different voice altogether, either way it was spiritual that's for sure. Can't wait for Part 3, Thank you Amanda and Shaye.💕👍🐶
Love your videos ❤ thank you so much for sharing. I'm a transwoman. I'm 56. I started my transition 3 years ago. I've been married to my wife for 24 years. We are super happy today. We both get a lot out of your sharing. Super proud of you both ❤
I wish I had a story like that. I got schizophrenia when I was 33, and my husband took off. I am honestly happy that there are people in the world who are truly in love. I pray for you often and I hope you kept your faith in god. I pray that you kept your faith in god without the mormon church, because like you two, god is way more interesting than being some extraterrestrial cop that refuses you coffee and makes sure you cover your shoulders, and oh, are you wearing your appropriate underwear? God is just way more loving and interesting than that.
I was a server for a long time, and think I've served you two before somewhere in town in the last year, you seem so familiar to me! I recognize the pure energy in you. I commend you for pursuing authenticity as natives here, difficult is an understatement. ❤
I admire the two of you. I see that there's two stories, one about Shaye's transition and one about your relationship. I love how you support one another in life. Regardless of Shaye's gender, the two of you have a wonderful relationship. I also love how kind and supportive you, Amanda, have been in Shaye's journey. And, I love how much Shaye appreciates you. Cheers to the wonderful couple you are together. You truly demonstrate that Love is Love!
I love hearing you speak about your history. It’s so calming and sweet, you both make me believe in the truest love. Your companionship makes for a beautiful and engaging story.
No worries about being long winded! You’re telling an incredible love story! I am over here hanging on every word! You two are sensational soulmates! I appreciate you both as the amazing individuals that you are and the beautiful couple that you are together ❤️ Thank you for sharing, it is the love that the world needs now! Much gratitude 🙏🏼
Knowing next to nothing about LDS or missions, it’s good to have a little background. Love you both and your creative, fun content! It’s so refreshing to see how you all have handled this new phase of life. Thank you for being so brave and sharing your journey. Y’all seem so happy and that’s all that matters ❤
I’d love to hear about the wedding and early married life. Congrats on all the press lately. You’ve done wonderful things for Pride and for so many others without a platform!
I just binged several of your episodes today and still need to piece together, where you live now, what you do for work, and how did you go about buying and building your own home. So many questions. You are living a really beautiful life!
I think it's wonderful that you are making such beautiful and vulnerable videos sharing your family's experiences 💕 I have two transgender children and it's so difficult for people who don't even know someone transgender or who don't know their personal struggle to understand why transitioning is life-saving and so important!! Love you all and appreciate your bravery and efforts to help bring inclusion to everyone 🤗
If either of you would have run, knowing what you were going to experience, I think it's obvious you still would have gotten together one way or another. You're meant to be! 💕💕
I’m ex Mormon and hearing you two speak just touches me in such a wonderful familiar way. It’s really hard for me to find a partner and now I think I can see why… I’ve always been an artistic weirdo free spirit so that’s who I hung out with… but when it comes to love I’m kinda a goody two shoes, for lack of a better description. The sweetness I see between you two… it’s really what I’m looking for. And oddly I see some of the good things that Mormonism can create, which feels very strange leaving my mouth now than I’ve said it… because I’m the first to complain about the obstacles it’s created in my personal life. But watching you two together stirs something foundational in me and helps me put a finger on it, in a good way. Thank you for that 🫶🏻 I feel less alone when I hear other ex Mormons share and I’m also just happy for you two 🙏
I really enjoy watching your channel and the loving respect and interaction you have with each other. It feels very familiar to me. My husband and I have been together for 45 years this November and our relationship has had the usual ups and downs, sideways shuffles, and deepest darkest times . Through it all we continue to laugh, cry, and maintain our connection. You both are examples for your children and are showing them that love, respect, and living authenticly are good keys for a happy life.
You are a remarkable couple!! You may not realize your impact you have! You speak about and live the core essence of what it means to fully live the human experience with all our unique variations and aspirations! Thank you!
Super interesting - thanks for posting - what a unique experience to come from such a traditional religious background and then to deconstruct the framework and make your own! Love the more in-depth convos!
Love you guys! Really love hearing your back story and watching how you interact with each other. I wish I had found my person like you two did. I can't wait to hear more. BTW, I just read about your People Magazine article online in the news today (hey.....I know them!). Congratulations!!!

❤❤💥💥❤❤ I am rather new to your channel, and Sorry Shay you two could never be long-winded. I love listening to the two of you. I love how the depths of your lives are being shared with us. I think people that are really informed about the Mormon religion, well let me speak for myself because of the Chad daybell Case that just ended up with him getting the death penalty and Lori Vallow having three life sentences and they're very serious involvement with Mormonism to the point where they get whacked out and Chad believes he was the Holy Spirit in another probation, just knowing you guys came from Mormonism which to me is such a big cult and how you deconstructed and where you are now I mean again, sorry Shay You said, well we've been in a little long-winded, I'll say it again for me you could never be long winded enough. I love listening to the two of your stories and I can't wait to hear more. It's really hard to believe that Shay has only been presenting fully as a woman for a year. That is crazy. While running a Wendys in Idaho, I considered myself lucky to hire return missionaries. So helpful. So polite. Great work ethic. But boy....were they ever immature. When having nice conversations about their church and what is involved, all they could do is quote the standard line supplied from their indoctrination from the church. Opinions on women's role? No opinion. Opinion on all most everything about the Mormon religion was beyond their ability to discuss.
