After the Daiwa releases today I can see my bank account suffering greatly. I would love to use these down on the flats at Batemans bay. I know it is the most productive fishery, but I have had some great days with the kids.
Hey Watto, I've got a lure or two here for you - thanks for being a member of the channel and supporting it grow, when I can I'll share these new lures with you mate.
Great review on the Daiwa Double Clutch 👍. Love your edits. I think either flathead or bream in the Sydney harbour system. They would go mental over there! Thanks for another opportunity to win on of your giveaways.
G'day, great video mate, I've loved the Doubl clutch lures for a number of years. Now with the 48's, I'm looking forward to snagging a few decent Bream at at Lake Tyres & Bemm river. Cheers
Sweet lord. This looks amazing. I think the people have spoken regarding wanting a DC48. Was chattinv to my friend who fishes fresh and salt and he said he can now sell everything else and just use the 3 different DCs. Great job.
Mate what a video ,it has totally blown me away , I think I would be targeting Whitting ,bream and Flathead . I normally fish the Camden - Haven on the north coast, these bad boys will be a killer .
They look great, nice review. These would work great on the flats nearby, good wide area with mainly sand with patches of weed, about 2 metres deep. Plenty of Bream and whiting to target in the warmer months
Cheers Byron ... saw the Diawa launch last night and got excited about the new Sol reel ... and the new lures ... the Spike and this double clutch look great .. so happy Diawa have gone to this 48 size for the double clutch! I throw a lot of lures for bream .. whiting .. flatties in the rivers here in Ballina .. look forward to getting into them with the newbie Diawa product .. cheers .. thanks again for another great vid. Steve
target species 100% be black bream and possibly pinkies off piles and floating docks in and around Geelong. would also be great to add for a hopefully up and coming trip over to lake tyres in the structure and up in some of the shallow bays there. look like epic lures to add to the ever-growing collection.
Awesome video and review Byron! Definitely going to be fishing these in the Gippsland Lakes. The Bream in the Paynesville canals and Nicholson River aren't going to know what's hit them.
Cheers for the great review mate. Would definitely love to target some black bream and ep's in the Hopkins and Glenelg with these. I reckon they would be dynamite on the redfin and trout around the weeds and rocks in Lake Fyans too.
As soon as this lockdown opens I’m taking my son straight to St. George’s basin and Jervis Bay. He loves the squid but I’ll be chasing the bream. Once again an excellent review Byron!!!!
As an angler in Queensland, these would be lethal on the yellow fin bream up here in the canals & across the flats. Awesome review as always mate. So hyped on this smaller profile
Awesome, once again mate. Sweet kayak your using in in the vid. I would love to give these a crack on the muds flats and sand banks of the Tweed. That’s if Covid cools its boots.
Always great to get ideas about how to improve my fishing. Caught a 81 cm flatly trolling the smaller double clutch on the flats in Terranora Broadwater and would love to try trolling this new one. Keep giving tips and advice much appreciated!!
This is what I really enjoy about your channel byron. The lure reviews are my favourite. Great vid. Would love to add these to my double clutch collection. Would definitely like to give it ago in the systems of sussex inlet (right near St georges basin) targeting bream. Especially over summer 😀😀
Hi Bryon just watched the Diawa product review for this year there are some awesome gear coming. For me fishing flats and racks in my local area Port Macquarie on 1 to 3 kilo infeet rod .Awesome review Byron as always
Good review mate. I’ve now put them on my list to purchase before the next session. 👌 I’d be keen to crank them under boat hulls and rock structure in Sydney Harbour.
Excellent. Got a collection of hard bodies including double clutches but still have not got a single fish with them. This video is mighty handy and thanks for taking the time to show how to fish them. Hope it makes the difference. Parramatta river chasing anything that bites but i love chasing the bream the most . Lockdown is killing my fishing.. Stay safe
Nice review mate. Personally, I reckon (colour dependent) these could be a cracking trout lure. Probably will get a couple and give them a "spotted dog" treatment.
Definitely chasing some Bream, I’m heading to the Glenelg river in October, I can’t wait it’s a pity I can’t head over the border to Nelson at the moment 😢 but my time will come. I must say I absolutely love my Double Clutches, thanks Daiwa for making products I can’t refuse 😂🤙🎣 As always keep up the good work mate
Jealous you've gotten to spend a whole year with those babies!! BUT clearly well deserved too. Bet they'd work a treat around the harbor, especially the little rock outcrops... I'd be going after some bream and flathead for sure!! Would love to win them but more so, keep the epic content coming through!! It's keeping us sane during these tough times. Stay safe!!
Mate you sold me on these! I've been after a good minnow for bream I can have confidence in, so I'm stoked! I'd be super keen to throw these at yellowfin bream along the flats and weed edges at Urunga! Thanks Byron!
Always love your reviews keep up the great content. When are they being released? I did I quick google search and nothing came up. I'd like to give these a crack on some of the local shallow weed flats in Moreton Bay.
More lures to buy, I bought a heap of Infeet Spikes after that video you did on them and couldn’t be happier. I guess after watching this I’ll be stocking up on some of theses now too. “Black bream on the flats” look out. The blue Suji colour is insane and my go to lure. Thanks for another great review
A great review as always, mate! I'm really looking forward to giving some of these a swim. Maybe Tassie next year at this rate... (And even that's a "maybe"!) Hope to catch up with you somewhere!

i would most likely chase trout and Reddies on these lures around my local creeks and lakes but of course i would love to get down to the coast with the new double clutch's to give them a crack in the estuary's.... keep up the good work Byron the videos are getting better and better.
Cannot wait for these to drop and as always a cracking video Byron, gonna give these a massive workout on some bass this season in the rivers here on the far south coast of NSW as well as the bream in coota!
Love the vids! Id love to see how they go after flatty's in eastern Vic esturine lakes to southern NSW but really id use them for Jacks to in the top end!
Mate as always a great review. Being a Brisbane boy I would have to say out around Jumpinpin chasing bream and flathead around Crusoe Island. Keep the great reviews coming. Stay safe
Great vid! Can’t wait to get these on my boat! Clear shallow flats near system entrances on sunny days is where these will slay I reckon, yellowfin bream for days! Wonboyn comes to mind. There has been a gap in the market for a subtle, long casting jerkbait under 50mm that these will fill nicely. Can’t wait to get my hands on some.
Love your work mate, great review! I'm pumped to head up to Mallacoota and give this lure a crack along the sandflats going for bream and flathead, as soon as I get my first Hobie that is!
Would love to crank these double clutches along the rock walls and structure in the upper middle harbour, past roseville, it’s the only place I can fish at the moment :(. Hope to snag some bream and silver trevally, an underrated sports fish in my opinion and plenty of them in middle harbour at the moment. Great vid as usual, keen to see what you got up to in NZ
Thanks for another top-quality video mate. Would love to hit the sandflats around Ballina for whiting, bream and flathead. After your review, I reckon they'll smash it!

Hi Byron, I love watching your videos, clear explanations, precise and everything flows very well. Thank you. Bought most of the lures you use! This double clutch looks really good in terms of casting abilities and colour. Will try to get a few and use them for bream or flathead in the Swan in W.A. Cheers bro. See you next time.
Again more great content Byron 👌. On the flats would be awesome but anywhere in my local system here on the sunny coast. I love the color range and the action is amazing.

Great review Byron, I just purchased the 115 double clutch, but haven't tried it yet, also have a 95 mm i use for flathead but never caught a Bream on one, so it would be yellowfin bream i would target, in Sydney Harbour along rock walls and wharfs, so i will have to get one and try it out, great video,
Love your reviews and mate what time would give to be you!! My target species is redfin or yellow bellies (double clutch may not get deep enough though for yellas) on my yak at local dam, Googong. Keep up the awesome reviews mate👍
Enjoyed the video mate. I would be targeting just the basic bream and whiting I think, but ultimately I'm happy to catch anything. Would try it at a local creek that I just discovered. Sandy flats near the mouth before it drops off with a bit of rocky structure.
My “go to” lure for calm early morning sessions on the sand flats and oyster racks. Target species is flathead but bream and whiting can’t resist either. Life like and a smooth action. Highly recommend them.
Great vid mate 👍 Love the larger size DC looking forward to having a crack at some whitting on the sand flats of Lake Macquarie and tuggerah Lakes systems. Cheers
Another amazing video mate! Such quality!!! I would be chasing some bass around the SEQ dams and skinny water then try for some bream in the Raby bay canals and some flats. Keep these quality videos coming Byron :)
Your enthusiasm for the lure really shines through and is quite contagious Byron. Another great review. 1st thing that came to mind was targeting black bream on the flats and edges. However, after seeing some of your catches, super keen to wade the flats for whiting once the warmer weather drops. Keep up the great work.
What can I say... I like the lure :P, always going to be like that when the reviewer finds a lure they like! thanks for the compliment mate. tight lines
Great review thanks! I'd be using a Blue Suji colour in the shallow water along the edges of weed beds to target bream in places like St Georges Basin.
Awesome video mate, thanks for explaining your techniques! I'd love to chase Salmon bustups in Botany bay with these lures. They're currently super fixated on tiny bait so this would be perfect to get a bit of depth and snag a big one under the pack.
After the Daiwa releases today I can see my bank account suffering greatly. I would love to use these down on the flats at Batemans bay. I know it is the most productive fishery, but I have had some great days with the kids.

If I'm gonna target one specie with the new Double Clutch 48 it will be whiting on the flats which is a bit finicky when trying to catch on lures.
Awesome video mate, thanks for explaining your techniques!
I'd love to chase Salmon bustups in Botany bay with these lures. They're currently super fixated on tiny bait so this would be perfect to get a bit of depth and snag a big one under the pack.
thanks Coopzie13! Glad you enjoyed it buddy
