Hey Guys! thanks very much for stopping by, I truely hope you learn a thing or two... or at the very least, are entertained! 🤙
Hey the Daiwa Gekk.. rod what length is that?
@@bencassidy4118 hey mate, I almost exclusively use the 788MML for top water. I had a couple minutes of video that I binned talking about rods. I’m going to do that in another vid
I have the 8.6 one it’s massive not sure how to use it correctly a vid on rods would be worth while if you ever have time.
Copy that sir
watched you for about 4 months and the quality of the videos and the attention to detail is unbelievable the information is insane .
good stuff.
Thanks legend! I really appreciate it mate
Love the way this guy presents his topics! Definitely the best light tackle fishing info going around
I appreciate that mate! You want to disclose your favourite colour so I can get you in the comp?
Love the video. Just discovered the Osp Bent and it’s a game changer. P83 favourite colour.
P74 is my choice. Learning a lot, loving it! Thanks
Thanks for the extra info, will try out a few of your ideas and techniques. P-74 has got to be my fav.

IT works hey. don't know why.. it does though
So glad you did a review on this lure, I love it
I had to comment with my favourite P83 all white bog stock straight out of the packet. I use the high Rod with a jiggle when retrieving and when the fish are on you can’t miss
Always love the channel and the content great 👍

Ho9 crystal blue shiner I’ve only used one once and it was that colour. Awesome video mate looking forward to the next one !!
Thanks Dylan! appreciate the kind words mate.
P-83 is awesome - and thanks for the well detailed video 👌
No problem 👍 Glad you enjoyed it
Great video. Really informative. Just subscribed. I've only fished these lures once and the P74 caught me fish.
Thanks for the Sub James, glad you liked the content mate
Hey mate I’m really enjoying this lure pack series of videos you’re doing! Looking forward the Vx video next as well. As for my favourite bent, I’d have to go p-83 👌
Hey Gary! See you next weekend dude - thanks for the compliment. Entry in!
Great stuff again, Byron! They're an amazing lure. I got my first introduction to them in Albany in WA a couple of years ago - colour GF76, I think - the Wakasagi colour. I couldn't believe how much interest they got from the fish - it was almost a fish a cast at some stages! Even at $38, definitely worth having a couple in the old tackle box...
I had a similar introduction to yours Mike, I was burning it then stopping. The fish may as well have been swimming into my Livewell!
Great Video ( as expected), lots of info and great footage.
Thanks Steve! Someone once gave me a nudge.
Another great video mate been killing it lately and im learning so much which i apply to my fishing channel!
My favourite colour would be the ME-28?
That miller rod would defiantly come in handy
Yeah mate, its brilliant for crabs and blades.
Check the next vid out for the comp details for the Miller Rod
Should be really proud of the production quality lately mate. Really been stepping it up! As always I love the videos and you have pushed me to go out and get onto some of these minnows. So many colours that look the goods but the H22 champagne mirror matches a lot of bait around my area. Cant wait to get into them
Dude! You flatter me, really appreciate the words - hopefully I can maintain the standard!!! Good colour choice, but i have to admit I haven't given it a go hey. Thanks again
Great video mate! Big fan of the in depth explanations of how to use the lure 👌🏽 as for my fav, would have to be the P-83. Love your work!
Thanks Lachie, glad you’re enjoying it dude, still working out a style to go with!!
Thank you for so much information, you are truly helping me catch more fish and save time. 🙏
You are so welcome
P-83 is my fav. Just a top lure that’s innovator really thought outside of the box to create. Top vid and very nice eps 🤘🏾
I’ll never forget the first strike on a Bent Minnow. P-83 has got to be my fave.
Trout love the Bents also. Love the range of sizes they come in, they cover so may species.
It’s funny, this lure creates memories I reckon.
by far my favorite bent minnow color is the P-74... works an absolute treat..... keep up the vids mate
Thanks for the entry and commenting Rory. Appreciate the support
Pink and yellow/ green body just like the one your using. Loving these Byron. Thanks for posting!
Anytime Peter, glad to see you on here mate!
Nice vid mate, only used the 1 and it was the one with the pink head, went good on the bream 🤙🏽
I haven’t actually used these lures for Bream yet but l love using the Ghost pearl, Crystal blue shine and the Super wakasagi colours. Awesome way of fishing in the shallows and very addictive. Awesome channel and keep up the great work 👌
Thanks Luke! Definitely give them a go
Great video champion. As always very informative and well presented.
Thanks Peter!!! Didn’t want to throw your favourite colour down? Gets you an entry!
I did mate. Champaign
Great video! definitely going to have to go with P-74 or P-83 in 76mm and 86mm (osp bent minnows)
Just started playing with the OSP Bent Minnows in 106 size for shallow water Flatty work. Bought a H23 Ginrin and a P74 Pink /Chartruese same colour as the one in the video and its the P74 which I have had the most success with so far so this has to be my favourite. Love seeing the EPs in action on the OSPs.
They were jumping all over it Michael, Such a good few sessions on the EP
the p-74 is my go to colour 100%. I love your idea of changing the leader length to impart a different action of the action for the lure and water column, also 🤞 i win my dream fishing rod. great video cant wait for the vx35 video next
Totally agree!
Cheers Mate! I like the Silver looking one.
Good choice!
Also thank you again for another wonderful video and really handy tips for those still learning like myself 😊👍🏻
My pleasure Jayden. Glad you like it mate.
Great video as always mate. P-74 is the colour I've got left but the ghost pearl look class as well.
Great to see you here dude!!!! Feedback works both ways, you better be sending me a message on what you would have preferred I do better ;) . Chat soon buddy, keen for your next video
Awesome video bud 😎😁
Good to see you on here mate. Thanks for the support!
Hey mate, another cracking video.
So much to learn and great to have to go back to.
I’ll be honest, I’ve never flicked one yet but I think I’ll be going out on the weekend and stocking up. Looks like great fun.
I think I’ll definitely be getting the
Ginga L-05
It’s the perfect time of the year, nice warm weather and water - fish are primed!
P-44 I would go for, haven’t used the bent minnow before. Great vid as always Byron
Thanks Filip!
Super informative video mate, love the prefish concept. Golden Ayu all the way, looks just like an injured poddy mullet 🐟🤙🏼.
Thanks Aaron, 100% injured fish!
Really enjoying the format of these videos, entertaining and very informative. I'm only new to bents, use them on the flats chasing YFW and Flatties - will have to give them a whirl on the Bream too. P-43 for me. Pearl white body and hot pink back. Screams eat me!
Happy you’re enjoying them mate
Amazing content and how to. I like the champagne half mirror h22. Keep em coming. Cheers
thanks Brett, glad you liked it mate
Love the video editing and opening.
Thanks buddy! still learning and experimenting.
@@ByronTeaHill Pro man love these Vids
Great vid once again bro !! My fav colour would defs be p-74 😀
Thanks Beau.
sick vid man, smashing it!! My favourite is the GF-76 colour, i find it replicates a little poddy mullet perfectly.
Thanks Buddy. 1 month late, but I knew I'd get around to replying!!!!
ME-01 👌 goes quite nicely, love the vids mate
Thanks 👍
underrated channel!!
Legend!!!!!
Great vid once again, never thought of placing a stinger hook on one personally I love the pearl white 73 I think the colour is works well on the dirty Brisbane river water
Lots of info brother

The H09 looks interesting
I swear by the P74, the perch can’t resist it. Great vid is always 👍
Thanks Austen👍 Entry in.
By far my favourite vids keep them coming. G01 colour, although I have never had any luck.. maybe after this vid luck will change.
Yeah that brought a smile to my face. Mate thanks very much for the compliment. Where are you? Come bent minnow fishing!?!?!?
I’m in Sydney fish the para and lake Mac.
Good work mate, well informed. Good all rounder has got to be the P-74.
100% I've got fish in QLD, NSW, VIC and TAS on the 74
Ops,s b-83 has to top the charts on one my favourite top water lure love your videos keep going with them
Thanks, will do!

Awesome vid mate as always my favorite color is the P-74
Entry is in. Thanks Brendan.
See you in a couple weejs
Bent minnow in white is insane for bream!
Great vid once again mate!
I got schooled by a guy in Tasmania who was throwing a white one around. Definitely seen it work
@@ByronTeaHill yep. It’s my go to for Gold Coast bream comps!
Great work 👍
Thanks Steven! Appreciate it
Awesome video man 👍🏼. My all time favourite colour has to be the G-28 Ghost Shrimp. Such an awesome colour 🎣
I haven't thrown it yet Jared... Stuck on the Pink head 74
@@ByronTeaHill that’s another awesome colour 👌🏼. They are all too good.
The P74 is the only one I have, haven’t really had a chance to use it yet though.
Thanks for the vid, appreciate the tips & insights you share.
Thanks for the lend of your kayak... you see it in the video?
@@ByronTeaHill thought it looked familiar 😉
Hey mate, you're an absolute legend. Awesome videos keep up the great work, it really helps out. I'd have to say the G28 would be my absolute favourite.
More than happy to help Gabe. Entry is in.
Really cool Vid, I remember the first time I seen one used at lake Tyres by a mate on our way to an ABT comp. I couldn’t believe this bent looking surface lure slayed fish the way it did
That way 7-8 years ago. I’ve since caught hundreds on them and it’s my favourite by far topwater lure especially in the p-74 and p-83 colours
Very cool! Glad you liked this one too Birdman!!
I like the H-09 bent minnow, always liked that style in many lures over the years
🤙
Hi! Great video! Really diggin' the editing and the information you provide. Super informative and easy to digest.
My favorite Bent Minnow lure colour from the OSP 76 range would be ME-28. It's got Ghost Gill Brown vibes so surely would be a successful colour of choice to attract fish.
Thanks Shane, hopefully we get a little more refined as the channel continues to develop. - it’s the gravy on top that makes the channel delicious.
P74 is my colour of choice for the bent minnow. They are great lures
awesome luers
Great video mate, here is another technique we use to great effect with the Bent Minnow, We throw it out then keep the rod tip low and give it 5 or 6 hard rips and wind at the same time you can get the bent Minnow down about 3 feet then pause and let it float slowly up to just under the surface then repeat all the way to the boat big bream love it.
Great tip!
TSM-87 mat flash wakasagi is my go to.
Great video by the way.
Thanks Scott!
They are truly one of the best lures on the market and that was an awesome video on how to fish them. Personally I love the sub surface action. H-22 would have to one of the best colors for natural presentation for where I fish 👌
Top movie bud
Love the bent minnow
Thanks Buddy! Glad you enjoyed it
Love the tasty p-23 shad colour
Nice!
Another awesome vid 👍🏼 got to be the G-28 ghost shrimp 🍤 all day every day
Glad you enjoyed it Marshall! Prawns are yummy!
P-83 is absolutely killer in the rattle version over the flats, just got a solid whiting on it this arvo. P.S. keep up the good work man loving the content!
Thanks Lachie!
Another great vid mate well done. Top water is the best way to fish and my favourite colour is the ghost pearl
That is a red hot colour Shayne.. I got schooled by a guy named Geoff in Tassy.. he was using the Ghost Pearl
@@ByronTeaHill a guy? 😂
Awesome video Byron! I'd have to say that my favourite colour is G-01 nothing beats it in the canals. Keep up the good stuff mate.
Thanks Jared! I’ll certainly try. Appreciate the comment - entry is in.
I’ve never used an OSP but I would love to get my hands on a P-74 and try out the tips and techniques you gave :)
Nice, its a good one
Great vid once again mate , fave colour is p-45 , vertical lines are pretty much fish heroin I reckon , keep up the awesome work 🙌
Thanks Goeffrey, awesome mate appreciate the words
Great video Bryon, I’m a added fan of the OSP bent minnow and find colour P74 as first choice followed by a close second GF76
Bemm river being one of my frequent fished waters And Mallacoota, I have found washing your lurers in fresh water after a session
we’ll prolong the hook life, getting them out of the fishes mouth does more damage than salt water.
100% mate, taking care of the trebles will make them last longer! Glad you liked the video Russell, appreciate you commenting.
My fav colour for the local area is the G-37 Brown Glass Shrimp in the 76 rattle. Works unbelievably well.
100% it works
Nice one Byron. Pink Clown for me. Matches my head
I know the feeling!!!
Love the vid mate my favourite colour OSP bent minnows are the P-74 and the G-37
Thanks Jamison, appreciate the comment buddy! can't go past the 74 imo
Hi Byron got a quick question do you use fluorocarbon or mono for your leaders for the bent minnows
The GF-76 mate does the damage great lure and video mate keep up the good work 🤙
Thanks Jacob! Entry is in. Appreciate the words
Love the vid, definetly going to give the assist hooks a go. My H-09 is the only surface lure i've caught fish on so it's gotta be that 🤣
Definitely the ghost pearl colour for me !, just works as great little injured whiting imitation for those shallow water flathead and big bream ! 🤩
100% a big bream lure
Another great video mate! Favourite colour would have to be the ME-28!
Good choice! Thanks Andrew, appreciate the compliment
Andrew thanks for commenting on the video buddy, You were lucky to come out on top in the random name generator. Flick me a message on Facebook and we will organise the gear be sent to you!
Thanks BTH, for the fab description of using these Bent Minnows, they're only found sporadically and I could only get the basic 110sz Pale pink or Qantas/red had or plain white (as pushed by local shop) Pink has been best of these so far in my limited experience. Waiting to see if following your instructions will amplify my success. But they cost a lot $o hope I won't lose any ( re. your recommendation of 6 lvb line) else may end all the fun.
Happy fishing to all. G
Hope the video helps G!
Another great video Byron! Fav Bent Minnow is the 76 Rattle in P-83 (ghost white). Warm water + prawns running = this bent minnow goes off!
100% warm and prawns. Thanks mate, good to see you back here.
Thanks for the video. Was wondering how to use it. Just ordered my first bent minnow. Color P-74.
Solid!!!! You get it online kk?
@@ByronTeaHill yep. Ottos tackle world
Btw, do u use miller rods frequently? If yes, which is ur go to?
@@kkchan3237 I own two Bladefreaks and am happy to recommend it. You’ll see it perform next video.
Awesome video, and epic giveaway! I've been focussing this year a lot more on finesse fishing and as I am currently focussed on "Ajing" i ended up finding your channel through your informative Daiwa Infeet review, been hooked to the quality of entertainment and editing ever since, thanks!
I haven't used an OSP, but I was curious about them when I was buying some hardbodies last week.
For the giveaway:
If I had, I would've picked the ghost minnow colour as I feel the 'ghost prawn' type natural transparent seem a lot versatile from what I've seen. But need to try some colours i've never considered after seeing this lure challenge!
Thanks Josh! appreciate the comments mate! support always means a lot
P-74 would be my favourite colour for sure
Great tips Byron, I like your white board breakdown. I see most people are saying the P74 is the best colour, I guess I would agree with them as I have no idea.
You Sir have been the victim of my whiteboard breakdown numerous amounts of times.. numerous. hahahaha
