Gday guys and gals, hope you enjoy this review. Remember if there is something you want to see reviewed, find us on Facebook so we can have a chat and put something together!
The Daiwa Double Clutch just made it to New Zealand earlier this year, caught brown trout, rainbow trout, and redfin perch with it (48 and 60). Quite pricey for an average fisherman, but this lure catches FISH! It casts like unreal for such light weight, and there are so many different retrieve techniques applicable to this lure. Great video mate!
Thanks for do the review on the Double Clutch. On Swan River Tailor they work bloody well, i troll them behind my kayak and never missed summer just gone taking home a feed of Tailor. I have not tried casting with them to be honest, as normally in my kayak. Yes the 90 does get the Tailor as well. Have around 4 in my tackle box, and at $24 each i would not want to lose one. Again thanks for doing the review, as i knew you would be honest about it
Hey mate, I like your video, just one thing that bugs me about it. The music, it’s not common to hear music at that volume in the background in fishing videos. Fishing I guess is a type of hobby you do to shut down everything else. I prefer to hear the wind, water and wildlife. That’s just my preference in constructive criticism. Everything else is great. Love go pro action. Just bought one of these lures and quite $$$
They seem a little pricey to me, are they really worth it? It's not like other lures don't catch fish. Is there anything special that anybody has noticed?
It’s the smaller things that make the big difference, the way they balance the more expensive lures means they swim better than cheaper lures, cast systems, the ability to tune, hooks and hardware. It all contributes to a much better lure. Plenty of times good quality lures have been the difference between an average day and a blinder
As mentioned in the videos. Far easier to contact us and request stuff on FB. unfortunately we can not monitor all comments here with work, family and so on
Thanks for the video. Whithout giving your exact spot, what is the general location here? I'm guessing by the clouds and plants that it is Mainland Aus, Albany WA or Port Lincoln SA, but could be anywhere. Im just interested as to what colours work where or if it makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

Thankyou very much for the comment. Awesome to hear you are nailing some quality fish on them too

My pleasure mate, its always great to be able to do something that someone can relate too.
Thanks again for the request
The 75mm double clutch work pretty well on the tailor too
I’m certainly going to expand the range in the lure box
Yup got one today
Hello Is the floating weight that moves inside fixed with a magnet after casting?
I’d have to go back and have a look. Don’t think so tho.

I couldn’t agree more with you mate. Tunes very rarely have a spot in the videos these days unless we are trying to mask unwanted background noise
Love your work
Thankyou john

Hi hopefully you will be doing the onda lures?

Can you do the cranka crab
How do you think these would go in freshwater for reddies and trout
Hey mate, I reccon the trout patterns would demolish the fresh water species. Especially if you got the smaller model
Nice one guys…. See you soon ! I hope
Hey mate, catch you soon!
@@On-PointAdventures u said it

This spot is Guilderton Western Australia.
Can you do the daiwa slippery dog
Too easy mate
I have never understood the double clutch thing, is there 2 or is it double size?
Unfortunately not one I can answer there mate
Think it’s the inside having 2 sections of bearings or something
Take a bigger one to the beach for tailor and flathead
Certainly will mate
