@@FoxesAfloat xxxxx hug him tight Colin. You've both had a rough trot but I'm especially heartened to see you moving out of it. And dare I say it Colin but you seem to have stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the ballpark and you're taking your lover and partner with you.
I lost my best friend Garry during 2020 so so sad 50 yrs old plus not being able to attend the funeral service was hard l am glad you too are alright another great vlog thank you both.
Colin, your videography, commentary and editing are award-worthy, and seeing England, the canals, the countryside and Silver Fox through your lens transports me to a place of serenity, but what draws me to your channel is the personal warmth of the both of you in sharing your life with your viewers. Very happy that you are both well on the way to recovery from COVID-19. Shaun, sorry for your loss. May happier memories live in your heart.
Awww I’m sure lots of us wish we could give Shaun a lovely big hug like Colin did at the end. So pleased Shaun is getting better, put a hat on and keep warm. Take as much time as you need we’ll all still be here xx
Who are the 145 numpties who left a dislike? What is there to dislike? These two are absolutely fabulous. If you don't like what they have to offer, don't watch them, just leave the rest of us to enjoy. I hope they get their own TV show.
You know, the show does not have to go on. If you need a break we will all still be here for you and we will watch, like, subscribe, join, etc when you return. At least, all the people in my home will be doing that! We usually watch on a Saturday rather than a Friday night but after last week, we stayed up late to watch because we were worried about you. It is great to see Shaun up and about - it warms my heart to see you both together even as we can see that it's still very, very difficult for you. I do want to say thank you for sharing your lives with us, for keeping the show going, but I want even more to say that you and your health are worth so much more than our hunger for Content. Be well. Heal. With love from Berlin.
Hi Catherine. We had almost FIVE WEEKS break and Shaun wanted to get moving, which was cleared by the doctor. Of course he looks weak, but he actually feels okay. Almost back to normal! xxxxxx
Hi @@FoxesAfloat ! Thanks for the reassurance!! Your channel is one of the most professional and well-handcrafted on youtube. I'm more impressed than ever at the way at put out a vlog a week no matter what else is going on. I'm so, so glad that Shaun's feeling ok and that you're doing well too.
🇨🇦❤️ I agree with Catharine as well. It’s great that Shaun wanted to get back to normal and that the doctor agreed, but I subscribe to a number of great UA-cam vloggers and everyone’s physical and emotional health is the most important thing. We can definitely wait and when the quality of content is so high and the hosts are charismatic, it’s easy to be patient. I know you’re going to rest when you need to and I’m confident that you’ll do whatever it takes to stay safe. Thank you again for welcoming us all into your lives.
So sorry to hear that you’ve lost your Dad, Shaun - and especially at a time when you were so poorly also. I send to you my most sincere condolences, and also my best wishes to you both for an early return to good health. We can all see just how much this pernicious disease has taken out of you. When you share your life with someone who enjoys doing what you do it's a magical thing. Shaun is on the mend, but has had a great loss. Time for us to give you all our support.
Watching something that gives you a peek into people's lives, can get you a little attached to said people... Loss of family, dogs, sickness... we here on the other side of the screen, vicariously watching your adventure... feel for you at these times... luckily I'm trying to catch up, so I can see things are basically OK, until I'm with you real time...
We are ex-pats (originally from Halifax, West Yorks!) currently living in Canada (for the last 14 years) and we started watching your vlogs a while ago, because we've always loved the canals and miss them. S sad to hear about the loss of your Dad, I can empathise and sympathise completely. I lost my Dad too, in September 2020, indirectly because of covid and the restrictions. At the time he was hospitalised, I wasn't even able to fly out of Canada to see him, because of the travel restrictions. He then went into palliative care and passed away shortly after that, and I was still grounded abroad. Some days will be tougher than others and I just want you to know it's ok to cry, or laugh at the memories of the good times....and then cry again! Knowing you're loved, loving back, and living each day, will give you the time you need to heal.
You can see that Shaun is not his normal chirpy self and Colin is trying very hard to cheer him up. If its any consolation time is a huge healer. Bless you both.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way but these past couple episodes have exposed just how much I care about you two. It’s amazing how this medium can give us, the viewers, the sense that we actually know you. I’m so happy to see you together, recovering, hugging. Please take care of yourselves and each other. “The show” is you and you are the show. We’ll be here to tune in whenever you’ve got the energy so please take care of yourselves and each other. I’m very sorry for your loss and I am sending my love from Rhode Island, USA.
Shaun, sorry to hear about your Dad. That’s a big loss. Keep him in your heart, always. Glad to hear you guys are doing better. What a tough row. Don’t push it, take your time and get well. Give Otis a big hug for me.
Yeah, we just took four weeks off until we felt ready to start again. Luckily, we were five weeks ahead with he vlogs, so no break in the weekly episodes 👍🏻
So sad for everyone who has lost a loved one during this difficult time. Shaun and Colin, continue to care for each other as you move through the holidays. 2021 brings new adventures!

Hi Guys just saw this episode again. I am sorry for you Shaun. My heard goes out to you. I remember seeing him during the lockdown on your computer. Very sorry. I lost my dad in May 2000 and i miss him still, so i know exactly how you feel. You take care Shaun. I am sure Colin is supporting you through this hard time. Much love to you both, from Heather. x
Oh Shaun. I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is so, so hard. Sending so much love. You are such a strong person and I can feel the love you have for each other through the screen
Glad to see Shaun got better, lost my mum in Jan to bloody Covid, so my warmest heart felt to Shaun... You guys are each others strength... This video was amazing to watch... 💙
It was joyous to see you both back on the stern deck, even though Shaun still looked quite pale and drawn, which is not surprising being what he has had to deal with. I thought you both put on very brave faces but have to admit the quiet hug under the bridge had the tears flowing. Loved Otis peeping out during the intro! Take care of each other .....xxx
Why oh why are thees lads not on a mainstream tv slot . Very profetional and very interesting . Good history, showing places we would not ever normaly see . Keep up the good work .
I randomly came across your chanel a few weeks ago and fell in love with it instantly! I'm currently catching up on all your old vids and loving every min! You guys have such warm personalities and your love of being on the canal really shines through. Even though I've seen a few newer episodes and I know you're both better I still found myself hoping you were both ok! After a hard days work, watching your adventures is a lovely moment in my day that brings a smile to my face! Keep up the great content guys!!
Just watched 133 . Glad you guys recovered from your COVID scare.. I know it was a while back now but please pass on my condolences to Shaun. Stay safe guys and keep up the good work. Really enjoying your vlogs. Take care.
Shaun thinking of you at this time, condolences to you with regards to the loss of your dad. So deeply sorry. So glad you are feeling better today than you was. Take care much love hugs and cuddles to you and Colin too. XX ❤️❤️🙏🙏🤗🤗
Shaun, I am so sorry for your loss, you have only one Dad. I am also so so relieved to see that your doing better. Take it slow and give yourself a chance to heel, you deserve it. It may sound strange, but I know most viewer feel the same way. When we watch your videos I become invested in your lives to a certain extent. I watch your videos because because we enjoy your company, if you will. So when something happens to either of you it effects us in a very personnel manner. We love you guys.
Shaun - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad - it's hard at any time but must have been so much more so at a time when you were so poorly yourself. All the best to you both.
Sad news about Shaun's dad. Condolences from Lincs. But good to see Shaun back @ the helm and Otis supervising. Just loving your style of presenting. Keep on going lads!
I felt an overwhelming need to write to you two when I heard of your Dad passing. I don't know if it was a surprise or not but it doesn't seem to matter. My Mom was in a nursing home for three years. I was like a type of hell on earth for her there so there is a strong sense of relief to go with the pain. It like being in an alternate universe now. It's very surreal. This is the way things are supposed to be. It would have been much worse for your Dad if you were lost first. I'm probably not helping am I ? We're all a part of this big conscienceness and all the evil just gets wiped out in the mix. Take care. It gets way better very quickly and if he was in pain of any kind it becomes a HUGE relief.
I'm so sorry for your loss Shaun. I am, however, very glad you are back afloat. You had me worried. I had covid back in March and am still not recovered - I think because I tried to get back to things too quickly. Take your time, rest and heal. Spend a lot of time cuddling under covers with the puppy. And eat some sweets - you look like you need to put back on a few healthy pounds before you're back to yourself.
Deepest sympathy on the loss of Mr Fox Snr, bless him, but relieved to see you both recovering and resuming your travels. I lost a dear family member a week ago and a friend just two days ago (neither covid). It's a very scary world we're living in but as you say, the show must go on and we just have to make the best of what we have - you are certainly doing that! Sending love and strength to you both and anyone else out there who needs it.
This really resonated with me. I am from Stoke and judging by the date on the packet of Oatcakes, this was happening around a similar time to when my Dad was in the Royal Stoke Hospital with COVID between 27th October and when he unfortunately passed away on 9th November. Obviously I knew Shaun was back on the mend having seen the later videos, but was so glad to see him back with you and Otis. I was very sorry to hear about Shaun's dad. Two cracking blokes, keep up the great work.
Hi Phil, Shaun here 👋👋👋 Yeah, that's about the same time I was in Royal Stoke Hospital, I was only in there for 48 hours. So sorry about your Dad, I know too well how difficult it is. My Dad was in Doncaster Hospital with Covid at the same time I was in Stoke, he managed to fight until the 24th of November and passed away with us all around him, luckily I was then clear of Covid, if not, I wouldn't have been able to stay goodbye. It's a goddam awful disease and so easy to transmit and catch. Best wishes to you and your family, Phil ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm so happy you are both healthy after the Covid scare. Shaun, my condolences on the loss of your father. I've lost mine too and it's mind numbing. Big hugs to you.
Just catching up on your vlogs. So sad to hear you have both been ill with Covid. Sincere condolences to Shaun (and Colin & family) on the loss of Shaun's Dad...so very sorry... Just want to say how much I have enjoyed watching your adventures. Do hope by now you are both recovered from Covid. Take care warm regards Lisa
Glad to hear you guys are doing better. I am sorry to hear that Shaun's dad passed away. My dad passed away also not long ago because of the cv19, we didn't even get to say goodbye. So I kind of know what you guys are going through. Any way it's nice to see you all. Stay safe. Dominick Dagostino Brockton Mass.
Still on catch up with your vlogs. Being a Paramedic I have worked throughout the pandemic and when watching this and previous episode my heart sunk. You are two amazing people and at 53 years of age this one has reduced me to tears. I know I am 7 months to late but I send all my best to you both as well as my condolences. Its just brilliant to see two people who love each other so much that even when the most horrific happens you can still smile, laugh and support each other........ Rich & Lisa x
Oh, me boys, was I glad to see you both together again, it brought tears to my eyes. Suddenly I realised how much I care for you. Watching you on your videos, sharing a bit your life, missing Dillon, loving Otis, all of this creates emotions. Shauns father passing away........ We're heading towards Christmas and a new year! Let's make the best of it. Love, Anneke
My heart goes out to you. My deepest sympathies for the loss of your dad. I wish I had words to take away your pain. So many on here sending you love and good wishes. Praying you and your family will be comforted in your grief and strengthen you in the days to come. I'm sure everyone who follow you are sending healing thoughts and wishes. We are very thankful for your recovery and praying you will both be restored to full health. You have no idea how much you have lightened some very dark and difficult days for so many in this pandemic. You are both amazing and inspirational. Sending strength and love to you both.
I'm new here and I'm already hooked. You guys are lovely and the camera work is superb. Some of the views along the canal were amazing. Stay safe and thank you 🙏🤗☕
I'm new here as well. I found this channel about a week ago (last week of September 2021) and I've been binge watching the videos since day one. Amazing views indeed, an learning about the history of England along the way. Colin and Shaun are doing a great job filming, researching and telling us these most interesting stories. And sharing part of their personal lives along the way. I was literally in tears at the end of this video. Keep up the good work, Shaun and Colin. And Otis is the most lovely dog I've ever seen. Wish I could give him a big hug.
I just started watching this show last week so I'm a bit late in saying this, but I'm so sorry for you in the loss of Shaun's dad. What a difficult time the two of you have gone through! I'm so glad you have each other. Thank you for sharing your lives with all of us. I'm sure that must be difficult at times, but I appreciate your authenticity.

Whose cutting onions around here? 😭 You've both really had a kicker from this year I think you both need a hug! I'm a couple years or so late. But dear Shaun sorry for your loss. I lost my dad a few months ago. It's hard. Love and friendship across the miles.
Thank you 🙏
Glad to see Shaun got better, lost my mum in Jan to bloody Covid, so my warmest heart felt to Shaun... You guys are each others strength... This video was amazing to watch... 💙
Sorry to hear that 💜
It was joyous to see you both back on the stern deck, even though Shaun still looked quite pale and drawn, which is not surprising being what he has had to deal with. I thought you both put on very brave faces but have to admit the quiet hug under the bridge had the tears flowing. Loved Otis peeping out during the intro! Take care of each other .....xxx
Thank you, getting much much better now ❤️
Take good care of each other you both have beautiful souls ❤️
Thank you so much 💜

Shaun, I am so sorry for your loss, you have only one Dad. I am also so so relieved to see that your doing better. Take it slow and give yourself a chance to heel, you deserve it. It may sound strange, but I know most viewer feel the same way. When we watch your videos I become invested in your lives to a certain extent. I watch your videos because because we enjoy your company, if you will.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sad news about Shaun's dad. Condolences from Lincs. But good to see Shaun back @ the helm and Otis supervising. Just loving your style of presenting. Keep on going lads!
Cheers, Tony 👍🏻
Thank you. Happy Christmas to you! 🎄
Any excuse for cake 😋
Deepest sympathy on the loss of Mr Fox Snr, bless him, but relieved to see you both recovering and resuming your travels. I lost a dear family member a week ago and a friend just two days ago (neither covid). It's a very scary world we're living in but as you say, the show must go on and we just have to make the best of what we have - you are certainly doing that! Sending love and strength to you both and anyone else out there who needs it.
Thanks so much, Nikki
This really resonated with me. I am from Stoke and judging by the date on the packet of Oatcakes, this was happening around a similar time to when my Dad was in the Royal Stoke Hospital with COVID between 27th October and when he unfortunately passed away on 9th November. Obviously I knew Shaun was back on the mend having seen the later videos, but was so glad to see him back with you and Otis. I was very sorry to hear about Shaun's dad. Two cracking blokes, keep up the great work.
Hi Phil,
Shaun here 👋👋👋
Yeah, that's about the same time I was in Royal Stoke Hospital, I was only in there for 48 hours.
Thanks, Wendy. Sorry you lost your Dad too 💜
I am so happy that you are both OK. The two of you deliver a special gift to all of us each week. Many thanks, and take good care of yourselves.
Thank you very much!
Thanks, Lisa. We're both fine now 👍🏻
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Shaun. But I am glad to hear that you and Colin are on the mend!
Yeah, getting better now! x
This and 132 absolutely broke me. You two are wonderful ❤️
Thank you, Sam 🙏❤️🙏❤️

Good travels , mates .
Thanks, Mark! x
Glad to hear you guys are doing better. I am sorry to hear that Shaun's dad passed away. My dad passed away also not long ago because of the cv19, we didn't even get to say goodbye. So I kind of know what you guys are going through. Any way it's nice to see you all. Stay safe.

I'm so sorry you didn't get to say goodbye. I'm sure he knew how much you loved him. 💜
Thanks guys 💜
Sorry about you losing your Dad, Shaun. However, so glad you recovered.
Thanks, Tom 💜
Oh, me boys, was I glad to see you both together again, it brought tears to my eyes. Suddenly I realised how much I care for you. Watching you on your videos, sharing a bit your life, missing Dillon, loving Otis, all of this creates emotions.
Shauns father passing away........
We're heading towards Christmas and a new year! Let's make the best of it. Love, Anneke
So sorry for Shaun's loss. Glad to see you are both, especially Shaun with the worse symptoms, doing better from the Covid.
Thank you so much, Michael. We're so much better now thanks xx
Thanks so much, Tracy 💜
I'm new here and I'm already hooked. You guys are lovely and the camera work is superb. Some of the views along the canal were amazing. Stay safe and thank you 🙏🤗☕
Thanks, Heather and welcome! x
Pleased to hear Shaun is feeling better, condolences on the passing of your Dad.
Take care both of you..
Thanks, John 👍🏻
So sorry for your loss! May the memories of your Dad be a blessing!
Thanks, Jim 💜
I just started watching this show last week so I'm a bit late in saying this, but I'm so sorry for you in the loss of Shaun's dad. What a difficult time the two of you have gone through! I'm so glad you have each other. Thank you for sharing your lives with all of us. I'm sure that must be difficult at times, but I appreciate your authenticity.
Thank you so much!
So happy to see that both of you are doing ok, although I think Shaun needs a bit more rest. Sorry, Shaun, to hear about your Dad. Just remember that every time you think of him, he is with you. I firmly believe that. Take care of each other. Lots of hugs from Canada.
💜
You obviously got on well with your Dad Shaun. The photo of you together conveys that and those memories will help you through. God bless x
Thanks so much, Helen! x
So pleased you two are ok. Sean does look a mite fragile, so please take care. Always love your bits of history and canal info. Thank you.

Shaun I can't begin to imagine what you must be feeling right now, but I'm sure wherever you are on the waterways you'll have all the love and support you want from those nearest and dearest.
I hope you can both look forward to new and exciting adventures in 2021.
Keep smiling chaps! **hug**
