Oh my god, "loads of seaman"... I'm glad I wasn't the only one that was crying from laughter 🤣. That was epic. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and the history narrative spot on. Thanks again for having me in your world, it was just what I needed this morning! Have an excellent week ✌🏻💖😎
My God you make me smile, I don't understand how anyone can give you a thumbs down, why bother watching the vlog if you don't like it. I adore you and I envy your lifestyle. Lots of love from Sweden 🇸🇪.
I wondered how many takes "boat full of seamen" would take 🤣 Stunning views and thanks for the in depth story of the embankment, I love hearing about the engineering that goes into these jobs. Good to see you both laughing!
Oh my God, outtake of the year, I haven't laughed and had the tears rolling down my cheeks, just below my eyes ! for a long time. what joy you bring, and wonderful filming, to so many, me included. oh joy. guy
7:25 I could tell by Shaun's face that that comment was going to end up in the outtakes. Wifey didn't understand why. But what a reward!? Shaun's laugh could be used for the "laughing policeman"!
Hi 👋 from Tennessee USA 🇺🇸. Looks like you two have beautiful weather to do your travels. Glad they were able to fix all the damage of the canal. Really enjoyed the video. I hope you two have a fantastic weekend and be safe.
One of the best guys, I could see from Shaun’s face that you’d had some trouble with the river Weaver seamen! Outtakes were hilarious, you have to go back to Laurel and Hardy for such infectious laughter.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 I wondered how you got through that sentence and in the out takes I see you didn't 🤣😂🤣😂 love to you both woof to Otis. Take care and stay safe.♥️♥️
One of your most entertaining videos! I was laughing almost immediately with "reciprocal" and then the kettle and the lovely shots of everything. Absolutely wonderful! I so enjoy the both of you (and your work = such lovely, lovely videos and you are both so humorous). I continue to be a big fan of you both - Lucy
These outtakes are priceless. In these difficult times your laughter is just what we need. I don't know what I found funnier. A boat full of seamen or the thought of Colin getting stuck on seamen. It is a good job we have all got clean minds!
Lots of seamen going and down the canal...I just knew that was was going to be in the outtakes...watching Shauns face trying to hold it together...oh brilliant vlog ...sorry guys didn't pay to much attention to history part laughter got the better of me ..have a good week guys and Ottis....🤣🤣
Hi, guys! That Shaun has a wicked laugh! Love it, and Colin knows just how to set him off! That’s why you’ve been soulmates for years - you have to enjoy laughter together! My daughter was helping me divide my hosta perennials at my Foxes viewing time today, so I rewarded myself after the hard work with you two, and Otis! Thanks for the sunny vlog!
Colin, what I enjoy so much in your narration is the teaching you do--informing everyone about the history of the specific region you are in. I know, from some segments, that you are very hard on yourself about slips ups--everyone does that. I am really excited by the new build. Love you guys. This lady completely understands about traffic reappearing and disliking it.
I remember that canal collapse.......hello lovely fellas, by the way - you’re both looking lovely, and Otis full of bounce.....🐶❤️ ..... it’s really good to see the repairs that have been done. Jam butty mines 😁 we have Talskiddy Treacle mine here in Cornwalll......honest! 😁 it seems very much against the spirit of Narrowboating that a water point should be padlocked off like that......unless of course the water from it is contaminated in some way. Wet wipe showers all round then. ...brings back memories of camping in the middle of nowhere! Oh my life, I’m still getting my head around aqueducts and you chuck in a boat lift........whaaat?? Have a great week lovely fellas....love the laughter! 😘😘😘😘
Shaun - I just loved your sly smile when Colin said "full of seamen". Colin - I'm glad I wasn't taking a sip of my coffee when you said "coat hanger". I would have had to clean my laptop screen! Your outtakes are glorious and delightful as always. Thank you gents!
If anyone says anything about seamen from now on, I'll be finished! I hurt from laughing now and the out takes really finished me off! Wonderful, the highlight of my week! X
Waited a whole week to see you both and Otis - gosh we need MORE! You give us great beauty, knowledge, and lots of laughs with the seamen (spelled this way on purpose !! ) as well. Hoping you take the “boat elevator” to the river next week as that looks crazy cool!! Thanks so much for sharing your lives, love and journey with us - you’re the friends we’ve not yet met! 💕
The outtake with Shaun laughing is the perfect antidote to anyone having a bad day. I challenge anyone not to end up laughing along with him. Thank you for the best channel on UA-cam
I just cant believe what a professional job you do and the BBC hasn't picked you up....every vlog better than the last. Color me impressed...love you both **** and Otis too XOXOX
Hi guys, the big shaft is the site of the collapse of the tunnel in the 80's, a guy saw it cracking reversed out dropped his family then raced back through before it collapsed, one of my first canal site jobs was moving the clay from the repair from Railtrack land to the old clay pit over the tunnel. Relined Barnton Tunnel back in the day, night shift spent at the bottom of the shafts cos you could pick up radio Luxembourg, eke them were the days
Thanks I needed a grin But mainly I love seeing Otis, especially today. You see, my dog passed away this morning. It was time, she had a good life but cancer came and took her. So you see, I'm pretty messed up right now. I know you two know what I'm feeling Go now and give Otis a big hug Thanks, just needed to tell someone Mike.

Another wonderful vlog, full of informative stuff and some fabulous giggles too ;) so, so great to see you both back to full strength laughter and giggles! Ok, so as always a brilliant and informative video, but, have you ever thought about just doing a video of Shaun’s laughter??😂😂😂😂 it's so infectious Thanks, boys stay safe big love ❤️ 👍🏻
Oh thank God for fridays. You 2 guys deserve all the best for letting us into your world. I used to live in Rudheath Northwich and can relate to your route on the canal & the boat lift. Fridays just wouldn't be the same without you guys. Robert from Manchester
Well on a wet Saturday morning I’ve loved this vlog but your outtakes really cheered me the F up.... woke up a right miserable Yorkshire man this morning and you guys cured me 😃
At 7:24 it was one of the best moments yet. I straight away thought - there will be outtakes! Brilliant stuff, thank you guys. My week is not complete without you, I wish I had patron money
Shaun only just got through the seamen section. bless him.
😂😂😂
Was just about to say.... Great job on the tongue biting Shaun. How many takes was that? 😂
He can’t stop 🛑 laughing and that pleases Colin. 😹

It was Sean's smirk that set me off. Honesty guys every week there is something to laugh at.
And I am just now watching the out takes, tears guys tears.....

I have learnt not to drink and watch these guys at the same time. I'm either going to choke or spray it out laughing.
Well done Shaun for keeping a straight face with all the sea men traveling up the canal
🤣
I really should wait for the outtakes before I comment again 🤣🤣🤣
I to saw the slightest of smiles begin. Annnnddddd then the outtakes.

I’m guessing about 20 minutes of uncontrollable giggling, even the one that made it in was close to Shaun loosing it. Lovely Friday vlog. brilliant.
Thanks Nigel!
7:25 I could tell by Shaun's face that that comment was going to end up in the outtakes. Wifey didn't understand why. But what a reward!? Shaun's laugh could be used for the "laughing policeman"!

Fab video!! ❤️ Collin could become a history teacher 😅😅😅
Haha! Maybe!
100%. Colin and Martin Zero as history teachers with Techmoan from UA-cam doing science and ViHart doing maths. A UA-cam school....
I’m supposed to be listening to a work conference call, but instead, I laughing along with you on your outtakes...😝

Shauns face when you said seamen. That’s some brilliant control.

It was the words you used with it..."coastal boats full of seamen"...imaging filling that boat with it's cargo. ☺
I LOVE Sean’s laugh. It’s so contagious. ❤️❤️❤️

Just in time! A fine dose of Shaun's laughter is the best medicine. Sorry Colin, your laughter/frustration helps too.
