You missed the inside of the punch bowl you can go inside it on low tide and totally skipped Pacific City which there's another rock like in Cannon Beach and walk up the hill and have views upon views. Newport bay front marina and Cape Foul weather look out!🙏🌎🇺🇸🍾🍾🍾
It's too bad you didn't get a good view of the Twin Rocks (Rockaway). We rented a house on the beach there this past July--looking right at the rocks. Wonderful vacation. And some of us did that train you saw. Another great reason to visit this place.
The Oregon coast is food for the soul. As an Oklahoman, I visited for the first time 20 years ago when I was single. It has become my wife’s favorite vacation spot since we’ve been together 16 years now. The last two times, we did it as a road trip. It’s a brutal drive from OK but so magical to have our golden retriever share the experience with us.
I am taking a gig at Bandon Dunes GC and gonna snowboard tour from Tx to Bandon!! Can't wait. Done the drive to Montana many times but looking to this route. Thanks for the video!! Gets me fired up about 2025!!!
There actually used to be an old ships Boiler, in Boiler Bay, thats how it got its name. I can remember seeing it back in the 1980's when my family and I would go visit the coast. Had relatives in Corvallis.
Cannon beach looks like a really beautiful beach! Woah that bowl of chowder was huge! It looked yummy. You went to so many beautiful places. Sea lion caves looked amazing! There were so many of them! Gotta love secret sand dunes xx
The Oregon Coast looks amazing. We are going to have to check it out someday. So many great scenic views. I would LOVE seeing that Sea Lion Caves. We saw a bunch of sea lions sunning themselves on the beach in La Jolla, CA years ago and it was so cool to see. Seeing all of those sea lions on the rocks in this video looked amazing. That sound is pretty amazing and intimidating. It still looks like such a cool experience. Sounds like we will need to walk behind that Fred Mayer grocery store too. That looked like such a pretty area. Thanks for taking us along to see the stunning Oregon coast!
@@SwiftyTravels LOL. Yeah, when we were around the sea lions in La Jolla the smell was not good either. I imagine it will be much worse in a cave. Still would be cool to see.
I was just telling my wife your thumbnails are the best! Glad you didn’t hit that train. How has your longer content been doing for you rather than short searchable videos? Oregon is still a State we have to go to. The view of the ocean does not get old. The light house view was pretty sweet. The map view really orients all the places you visited. Ao well done.
Thank you so much! I try to make them pop. I’m still not sure about the longer videos but ultimately it leads to longer watch time so I think that’s good. We’ll see I thought I would try it. This is my longest so far! Thanks so much for watching!!
And you skipped over Newport, that is my most favorite town on the Oregon Coast. I've eaten many a bowl of Clam Chowder at Mo'e Annex, and bought pounds of Salt water taffy at various shops.
it's moments when confused souls meet, to lost in overwhelming happiness, between truth ,,imagination, magic of the scene captivates you , so,,your heart ❤️ filled with tranquility, tenderness,,
Its more towards the middle of may, but the Florence Rhododendron festival, while busy, is quite the experience. Its being set up now actually, and happens annually.
You missed the Devil's Punchbowl by about...25 yds. The viewpoint is at the western most point of that parking lot. It's huge, I'm surprised you couldn't hear it.
Oh my lord!! So close! I also didn’t know what i was missing at the Thors well stop!! Hopefully there will be a next time!! Thanks for checking it out! 👍
Thank you- it's a shame I missed the view for punch bowl, I didn't know at the time what I was missing! That's why Is showed the google earth view because it looked incredible!!! Also didn't stop in Manzanita, just too much to see and not enough time, I definitely check it out next time!
I live in oregon close to the columbia river Gorge I saw your Gorge vid loved it and I thought I'd help you out on how to pronounce yaquina yuh like duh Quinn uh almost all of the names around oregon are native American words they can sometimes get ya 😊
Mo's?? Really?? 🤣 Whyvnot go to the smaller place, like Morris' Fireside Restaurant in Cannon Beach. (The "gray" log house...weathered wood. LOL) Their chowder, salad and bread loaf is so much better than Mo's any day! 👍🏼
we'll remember that place next time we are in Cannon Beach. We stayed in Lincoln City, and someone else at that hotel from a nearby town, recommended Mo's. We had never been anywhere in that town, so we ate there on their recommendation :-)
How would people know about a tsunami that struck the Oregon, Washington and British Columbia coast back in the year 1700? The two states and British Columbia were not even named yet. Even if they did know or see the tsunami strike that very area of Oregon how would people that time know it also struck hundreds of miles to the north? I'm sorry but that does not add up with me. In any case, Oregon is all beautiful that's for sure. Thanks for showing.
You should have gone to Kylo's to eat in Lincoln City. Much, much better food. Mo's has been around forever and hasn't really updated their menu. A little bland.
Let me know what I missed!
Short Sands Beach "Shorty's"), Manzanita, The Devils Punch Bowl.

Oh and great video 😂❤
Thank you!
Cannon Beach, my #1 favorite beach town anywhere. I prefer visiting in the winter when there aren't so many tourists.
We love cannon beach! I’ll bet winter is just as beautiful!! 👍 thanks for checking it out!
There's no other coastline anywhere else in the country as gorgeous as the Oregon coast.

You really weren't lying about the spectacular sights! Huge fan of Depoe Bay - we have similar coastlines here in the UK!
Somehow i missed this! The coastline was gorgeous! I hope to explore it in the UK one of these days as well!!

I hope to get to Oregon this year. I can’t say I’ve ever been, but was close. But, I am also allergic to rain, so there’s that!
We were so lucky to have sunny weather the weekend we were exploring the coast! We skipped so much! In ready to go back!!!😀👍

2 days- we stayed one night in Lincoln City and I still didn’t think it was enough time!

Unlike most other states, the Oregon is protected from some of the obscene development.
