*_Thanks for creating this video. I'd heard of some of these places, but never realized how accessible some of them were from where I live. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there!_*
We travel quite a bit, and I'm so proud of having done 8/10 of your suggested trips. We live in a such a beautiful country with incredibly diverse environments. No shortage of amazing places to visit.
I am Brazilian and if money were no object USA would be definitely my favorite destination, a lot of states to hiking, trails , national parks , waterfalls ,that's fantastic, I have to make it come true before I die
AWSOME post,I'll be coming from Australia mid July but only have around 18 day's, A how long did this take and B any suggestions would be appreciated .
I've only done three of these. So many great places left to see! Our road trip through Utah parks is one I'll never forget. The landscape through that state is so diverse.
I'll leave my question here since I think Utah might be my next road trip, so hoping @brittanycorder8829 or @KevinEassa can answer it :). I'm in Canada and I have done the West Coast trip a couple times now. I love road trips (fear of flying :) ) and enjoy taking them with my family (kids now 8 and 11). We aren't the most skilled hikers or really at all. But my question is for Utah, and really all of the road trips posted here, but the video shows most of the scenes of you guys hiking. So I just want to make sure that I'm not getting excited by a road trip, when in actuality, it will require a lot of hiking and the "road trip" is just driving from hike to hike? I'm sure the drive is wonderful but I'm hoping to not have to hike heavily (especially with the young kids) and would be looking for something similar to the west coast where the drive is beautiful and when you make stops, the "attraction" is right there. Thanks in advance if you are able to provide me with info!
@@302hugo IMO Utah is one of the most diverse states for landscapes. I absolutely loved our Utah trip and think it would a great option! But I don't think it's a see it out your window kind of trip. You need to know where your "destinations" are and plan to stop and see the beautiful places along the way. You can absolutely do some "easier" hikes to see some great landscape. Just do some planning about what your family would like to see. You won't be disappointed!
Great video and suggestions.. I have been blessed to travel quite a bit in the past and have been to some of your spots but it is nice seeing your trips and how active y'all are. Don't ever take it for granted because the majority of people don't travel much other than a boring old beach lol.. As much as you travel and have experienced I am amazed that you mentioned Ozone Falls in Tennessee, I grew up in Ozone and love our beautiful little icon. God bless you.
Thank you so much, I appreciate this so much. It’s interesting because the last 2-3 years we have mostly only travelled for work, and not these road trips we film on. But at the same time, it’s so fun seeing 8 years worth of footage compiled together, so grateful for all of these experiences. Happy to hear about Ozone! What a freaking cool waterfall!
Fantastic video. I combined Utah’s Mighty 5 and Northern Arizona in an epic two week road trip in November and it was life-changing. Planning on checking out Northern Arizona again, Wyoming and Montana this year. The American West is awe-inspiring.
We did Washington and Northern Arizona last year, proposed at Cadillac Mountain in Acadia the year before, and have done many of these trips. This is a great list, going to do the Mighty 5 in April!
This is a fantastic collection. I would love to do all of these. Roadtripping is probably our favorite way to vacation. Thanks for giving us really inspiring options for visiting natural beauty in the US.
Just got home to a great package containing a super kind note, a sweet camera bag and tote, some amazing aerial shots of the mountains and a sticker! You're a good man. Thought I'd thank you via comment rather than DM or email hoping to feed the algorithm. Yee Yee!
That’s so nice, thank you so much. I can’t express my sincere gratitude towards your support. Also happy to hear the giveaway package came early :) thank you and happy new year!
I used to live on Maverick St. in Page, Az, just four miles from Horseshoe Bend, and never knew it was there until 20 years later... Of course, all I ever did there was work and go out on Lake Powell in my boat.
Fantastic video. My default thinking when it comes to vacations is this sort of grouping of roadtrip destinations (i.e., what all can I see in one regional area in 10 days). So these suggestions are on point. Well done and beautiful visuals, as always.
I’ve been fortunate to see most of these regions except for Yellowstone to Glacier, which we had to cancel due to the big flood a few years ago. Haven’t made it to southern Nevada or west Texas yet. One of my favorite experiences was hiking up the Narrows in Zion right up the middle of the river, mind blowing! Some beautiful fun road trips we’ve done that are not on this list are up around the Great Lakes. I think these areas are underrated too. Especially the north shore of Lake Superior between Duluth and Thunder Bay, Ontario.
For those of you that are contemplating the Black Hills trip let me add a few pointers to make your trip even better. Starting (or finishing) at Devil's Tower WY (don't miss) drive through Spearfish, SD and drive through Spearfish Canyon (short hike to waterfalls). Continue south on US 385 to Crazy Horse mountain, then backtrack north to SD 87 and go east (Needles Highway, don't miss it). There is a nice hike around picturesque Sylvan Lake, and also a trailhead for the hike to Black Elk Peak, the highest point east of the Rocky Mts.. Just a short distance past Blue Bell lodge take the Custer State Park Wildlife Loop road headed east and you will see Bison, Prairie Dogs, deer, and feral Burro's. Viewing is best in the morning and evening, but you'll see animals even in the afternoon heat. The loop road will rejoin US 16, go east a short distance and take US 16A north (Iron Mountain Road) to Mt. Rushmore. On leaving the Black Hills you can visit Badlands NP about 90 minutes east on I-90 and can also visit the Nebraska Sand Hills a little south of Valentine Nebraska. Sorry it was so lengthy.
Ah they’re all on the list! I’ve been to Tahoe plenty of times, and Yosemite twice, but none of the others. And for Tahoe/ Yosemite, I don’t hardly have any footage. Hopefully this summer! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
My wife and I toured through Utah about 10 years ago. We were bicycling in Capital Reef NP, and cars kept stopping and asking if we were OK. Turns out it was 108 F; but we had a good time on the bikes.
Thanks for great video as always. I am plan to visit US at 2024 April to take picture eclipse. Mostly plan to go weighted to Nevada, Arizona and Utah but this time I need to add texas for eclipse pathway. thanks to introduce west texas. Happy New Year!
Somehow this popped up on my UA-cam feed and after traveling North America in our RV for the last 7 years/70,000 miles, you have nailed most of this list and got the order correct based on our experiences. Great compilation and videography! I would put the Pacific Northwest, Cascades, Olympia National Park, and the Oregon coast above West Texas, and add Yosemite, Sequoia, and Tahoe over Southern California, but everything else is spot on. We found Arkansas and Southern Missouri to be amazing gems to explore. Perhaps that is #11. If you include Canada, Banff and Jasper probably make the top 5 and are well worth a few weeks if you can avoid the crowds! Glad to be a subscriber now!
Wow! That is a LOT of road trips in a very short time. Well done! Living in Bend and previously in Denver we have done nearly all of the trips you outlined in the western US and you hit so many of the best spots. With great videography and drone work. It brought back a lot of memories and energized me to hit some more of these - but probably not all in 2024! LOL! thank you!
Brooooo ! You just became my favorite UA-camr !!!! This video is amazing. I’ve done couple of this hikes and trails but had no idea of the others. Thank you sir !
I love Road Trips and looking to plan my next one with my family. This video was great to point out the main attractions on these trips and peak my curiosity! Now to determine which one(s) I want to plan for with a drive down from Canada. I've been on a couple road trips down the west coast and I still want to go back and see things we didn't get to see the first two time! Love the west coast!
This video is wonderful. I was wanting to do some road trips and visit our great parks. I didn't know where to even begin to plan. This video has made it easy. Thank you.
another great area in the PNW is Silver Falls State Park in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It's a nice easy 8-mile roundtrip hike through a forest canyon with many waterfalls that you get to walk BEHIND.
Planning to do 1 & 10 this summer, and very excited! It'll be my first time doing my own road trips, since I got into hiking/National Parks only starting in December (Yosemite). There's just so much nature in the States and so little time!
If you want to down into Mammoth Cave (Kentucky), you’re need reservations in advance. Also, if you want to hike the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde NP, you need reservations. South Colorado is cool too.
I'm a Texan, so of course I'm biased, but Far West Texas is INCREDIBLY underrated. I would also suggest the towns of Alpine, Marathon, and Marfa (if you're into minimalist art), as well as Big Bend Ranch State Park, Davis Mountains State Park, and Fort Davis National Historic Site for a bit of Civil War era frontier history.
Great video but you left out Badlands national park and Badlands Loop Road in your South Dakota road-trip which is one of the most incredible places I have been!
Ah shoot you are right! Badlands would fit perfect on the SD itinerary. We didn’t have time to go but for anyone that sees this comment definitely add it! Thank you!
@@KevinEassa If you've got the time, Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota is also very underrated. Only about 3.5 hours north of the Black Hills.
Very good list. I've done most of these, at one time or another, except the Pacific Northwest. If I ever make it up there my preference would be arid Eastern Washington/Oregon instead of the coast.
Right now I don’t have any travel guides on West Virginia on the channel. But in my experience there aren’t many big cities for hotels, so we just car camped, or searched Expedia’s hotel map for places near the spots we wanted to visit. We found a good cheap hotel near new river gorge, but I’m sorry I don’t remember the name. It’s a relatively cheap place to travel to though, I hope this helps!
I've done all of these more than once. It's actually cheap if you go in the spring or fall. People from New Jersey where I live just go down the shore and it's big $$$
Great video. Im about to embark on a lomg roadtrip from colorado, west to cali snd then north to washington, and although I've been to every national park, your outside the National Parks spots are definitely going to add alot to my trip! Again, great job with the video and I'll definitely be subscribing. Cheers!
Great video, wish i had discovered you earlier. Looking for advice. My goal is take my kids to all 50. This March planning to fly to Vegas for a Saturday-Saturday trip. Plan to drive to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, somewhere in Northwest New Mexico, and Zion. How much time should we plan for Canyon and Zion 1 or 2 days? And suggestions for northwest New Mexico? Thanks. Will be taking your Wyoming, North Dakota, Idaho in 2 summers!
Thank you so much! The Grand Canyon can be visited in 1 day, but you’ll have to decide between West North or South (every time I’ve done south, but west looks awesome). Zion if you’re looking for a calm trip, 1 day is enough. But if you plan on hiking you need 2-3 days, I have a top 10 guide for Zion on the channel. For northwest NM you should check out Bisti Badlands, Shiprock, and if you have time- La Ventana Arch, Bandelier NM, and Cox Canyon Arch. I hope you have a great trip!
Great footage! I've only done Big Bend, Palo Duro Canyon (with a close encounter with a mountain lion in our camp!), Grand Canyon, Tetons, High Sierras in CA, & a few spots in Colorado. I really want to experience Utah & South Dakota. Problem is: I'm 70, female, & still "fit"; most of my friends can't hike any more & my husband is a farmer tied to the land here! UGH!
I've been to several of the places in your video . Thanks for including the extra trip . I have gone to Gatlinburg many times , love the Smokes . Shenandoah is a bucket list place , haven't been through it since I was a kid .
As I live in Newport, Oregon, I find it interesting that you highlighted Thor's Well which is about 28 miles south of Newport. The Spouting Horn (which blows like a Yellowstone geyser) is adjacent to Thor's Well and tends to attract more people Nice video. Keep up the traveling.
That was awesome! Great job. This gave me a few ideas on new travels and some I have done but you had other places on there to visit. Wonderful camera work!
Amazing and thorough video - thank you! Planning a cross country road trip for next year so this is very helpful. Did you ever run into bears or other wildlife on your hikes? I want to hike but I'm terrified of running into one!
Thanks for watching! I hope you have a great trip! Definitely have had many run ins with wildlife, if it's bear country, carry bear spray. Always better to hike in groups rather than alone. Don't feed ANY wildlife. And for the most part if you go about your business and give wildlife space, then they will go about their own business
Very cool. Might as well not limit it to 10 trips, because you need Sequoia NP -> Yosemite -> (Mt. Shasta and Lassen Volcanic NP? or San Francisco?) -> Redwoods NP -> Crater Lake
They all look cool, 14:00 May try to do this one from AR, picking up your map in Nashville with my dad. Wonder if there is another cool trip in another direction to make it a loop?.... does this include Blueridge route or a little off-base from that one?
You should definitely do it if you can! Funny enough, I’ve never heard of Blueridge route, just had to google it. But based on what I see, my route is very similar to that, with maybe a detour or two but essentially that. I don’t know Arkansas that well, but if you head west and do the west Texas road trip I outlined, a great stop to break up that drive on the way is Caddo Lake State Park. It’s a really unique spot along the bayou where we camped and kayaked
@@KevinEassa That is funny, I'll check that video out. I've considered a few Texas area road trips too and may be able to do those a little sooner since it is currently winter.
Great video, but it is way too fast, or maybe I am just getting old. You have all these beautiful shots, and you don't really have enough time to soak it up. I would have enjoyed it much better if all the clips were 3 times as long.
Not just you. It was absolutely too fast. I had to pause every 3 seconds to take notes just because things got rattled off too quickly. Just goes to show you can’t always make a short summary of itineraries to “help” when those plans need a longer timeframe to go throw. I would’ve much rather watched 1 hr instead of 20 mins of pause, rewind, pause, rewind, pause.
Yes I tried to include multiple! The New England fall roadtrip, Appalachian roadtrip through the Virginia's, Maryland, and Tennessee, and the Texas roadtrip! Another great one is a New York waterfall roadtrip!
The Great Lakes offers some great road trips too like the north shore of Lake Superior from Duluth to Grand Marais. The entire Lake Michigan shoreline in Michigan from Saugatuck all the way to Mackinaw Island is wonderful. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is beautiful, quiet and has the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and while you are up there, visit the Apostle Islands in Wisconsin also on Lake Superior.
Thank you! Totally up to you though. Everyone’s schedules are different and some people may only want to see some of the places I’ve outlined, where some people may want to see them all. Also people have different paces of travel. A good rule of thumb in my opinion would be 5-10 days each!
When you get a chance please do a Pennsylvania video including the Pocono Mountains and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and the center of the state also Lancaster Amish country and beautiful historical New Hope Washington's Crossing area. Thank you ❤
Awesome post and of all the ones I've seen this is one of the best and can't get over how BIG and BEAUTIFUL America is anyway seriously thinking of coming mid July but only have around 18 day's any suggestions and how long was this road trip.
This is a nice compilation with some beautiful images but you need to add more notations or enunciate location names more slowly because how are we supposed to find any of these recommendations if we don’t know how to spell them? You flew by some of the names so quickly that we couldn’t quite figure out what those names were. And some of them weren’t listed as waypoints on your maps so we were kind of at a loss.

@@nickskuza6036 just added to my list, thanks for sharing!
Great video. Couldn't agree more with the list. I got extremely lucky this year and hit all of these (except NE).
That’s incredible! Thanks for watching Samuel!
@@KevinEassa Cheers! Wish I had found this channel for tips before the trip, haha.
Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico is a must if you ever get the opportunity to go!
I love those caverns, the self guided tour is awesome. We went there this past January
@@KevinEassa glad you got to go! It’s been years since I’ve been so I am due for another visit.
Really like the road trip routes , will try them all!
I love to hear that! Thank you Betty!
Kevin, this was a great video with something for everyone! I’ll never get to all of them but got some ideas for our bucket list. Thanks for sharing!😀👍
Thank you for watching! :)
Hell yeah 👍🏻 🤠great destinations
Thanks so much Sean!
I don’t know about that foot bridge but everything else looks really cool lol
Fair enough haha. Thanks for watching!
Love my road trips as much as my Off Road trips!
They are the best way to travel!!
Very good list. I've done most of these, at one time or another, except the Pacific Northwest. If I ever make it up there my preference would be arid Eastern Washington/Oregon instead of the coast.
There are some great places to check out in the eastern side of those states! Thanks for watching Duke!
Wow, i need to go to WV, would love more detail on how to, where to stay and budget tips?
Right now I don’t have any travel guides on West Virginia on the channel. But in my experience there aren’t many big cities for hotels, so we just car camped, or searched Expedia’s hotel map for places near the spots we wanted to visit. We found a good cheap hotel near new river gorge, but I’m sorry I don’t remember the name. It’s a relatively cheap place to travel to though, I hope this helps!
I've done all of these more than once. It's actually cheap if you go in the spring or fall. People from New Jersey where I live just go down the shore and it's big $$$
Road trips are the best combination of low budget and freedom. Thanks for watching!
Great video. Im about to embark on a lomg roadtrip from colorado, west to cali snd then north to washington, and although I've been to every national park, your outside the National Parks spots are definitely going to add alot to my trip! Again, great job with the video and I'll definitely be subscribing. Cheers!
Thanks for sticking around! It means the world!
Superior video and photography. The best i have seen, just Stunning! ❤🇺🇸🙏🏻✌🏻
Wow amazing beautiful places I didn’t know that existed!💜
Nice summary. Subscribed.
🤩😍🥰
Thanks so much!
I'm going to Pine Box, Michigan.
Have you been to Kindergarten Drop Out, Alabama?
I Love Fort Hood, Texas.
Nice! Michigan looks amazing, I haven’t been
Wow. I don't think I'll live long enough to see all of that, lol. But I'll try. Great Video.
Legends, I am doing a cross country road trip so this is perfect!
I love roadtrips😊❤
They’re the best!
Nice summary. Subscribed.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching!
Amazing video!!
Thank you!!
Very cool. Might as well not limit it to 10 trips, because you need Sequoia NP -> Yosemite -> (Mt. Shasta and Lassen Volcanic NP? or San Francisco?) -> Redwoods NP -> Crater Lake
So many good road trips in the states! I’ve done a few that you mentioned but not all of them, on my list!
I like your video production and the location visuals.
Thank you for including Watson Lake
The granite dells are amazing
New subscriber here
Had so much fun at Watson Lake, glad to hear you love it to. Thanks for watching!
There is few to my checklist while i travel all America 😮
They all look cool,
14:00 May try to do this one from AR, picking up your map in Nashville with my dad.
Thanks Kevin for a productive video
Beautiful photography! In Washington state, it is the Hoh Rain Forest (pronounced hoe with long o sound). Loved this video!
Great video, but it is way too fast, or maybe I am just getting old. You have all these beautiful shots, and you don't really have enough time to soak it up. I would have enjoyed it much better if all the clips were 3 times as long.
I was just thinking that, too. I had to go back and hit pause a couple times.
Just getting old 🤷♀️
Not just you.
@@thedailywithbecky3673better yet, separate videos for each road trip
Grown down
great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
@@KevinEassa You're welcome, I can't wait to watch -- and share -- the rest
I would like to travel to some of those places ❤
I hope you get to, thanks for watching!
Those 10 roadtrips looks amazing
Great suggestions., All of these seems mostly on the west., do you recommend any on the East and Midwest areas?
Coming from a Canadian..I've done them all. Except the ones on the east coast!
Thanks Man! it's really mindblowing
thank you for this amazing video!
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching!
You live in Maryland, you got to do the Outer banks and Blueridge Parkway. Give some more love to the Eastern portion of the country.
Great videography
Thank you 🙌
We agree with many of these!
Interesting video thanks, how long do each of the road trips take ?
Thank you ❤
I especially like the bonus
Colorado, I'll be there soon, wait for me😀😀😀
Awesome post and of all the ones I've seen this is one of the best and can't get over how BIG and BEAUTIFUL America is anyway seriously thinking of coming mid July but only have around 18 day's any suggestions and how long was this road trip.
Fantastic Video!
Thank you very much!
Great video!
Thanks!
