A huge historic estate that was built in the early 1900s was saved by the citizens of Portland from development and is now a historic museum. This visit was definitely one of the highlights of our visit! For More Portland Videos check out : Multnomah Falls: ua-cam.com/video/lGXVYOkuHwo/v-deo.html Washington Park (Rose Garde...

Переглядів 1 тис.Місяць тому
We are visiting the Tillamook Creamery in Tillamook, Oregon! Tillamook is one of our favorite dairy companies, and I always wanted to visit this site. This particular facility was opened in 2018 and is a popular tourist destination along Oregon's central coast! Tillamook creamery was established in 1909 when several dairy farmers joined forces to create the Tillamook County Creamery Association...

outstanding upload 👍💪💥
Even a harp! Amazing mansion!
The harp was such a nice touch!!
I will take the mail Sunday evening
Are the animals living in big areas ? Or is this place more like a zoo ?
The drive through area of the park where the bears are has very large areas for the animals- it’s wonderful! There is another walk through area of the park that is more like a zoo for some of the smaller areas
Try editing?
I've never been a fan of Pistachios, but I do want to try those some of those flavours and the Ice cream! Despite all of that, my highlight of the video was the Space Museum, there's just so much to see! Crazy to think how much testing has been done in New Mexico, feel like there must be some kind of permanent damage to the area.
How do you not like pistachios?!? The ice cream is awesome!! 😂😂The space museum was really really impressive! In this area there is a large group of people called the ‘downwinders’ who are trying to get compensation from the nuclear fall out from the testing in the area. I cant even imagine for these people that lived around here when the bomb was tested with no warning! 😳😬
You're proving once again that this part of US, is just stunning! Also this area distinctly feels very European compared to most other places you've been in US.
Oh yes- much more so than the southwest where I live
Nope!! We stayed there a few years back and we saw way too many ghostly things. The bellhop just said don’t look t them. I will never stay there again
I would love to hear your stories!
Nice
Thank you!
Did them all last week!
Nice!! 🙌🙌 how did you like NYC?
@SwiftyTravels it was awesome. First time, will be back someday!
Beautiful places to visit! Greetings from Palma de Mallorca 😊 20:43
Thank you for stopping by!! 👍😀
The Texas Bushman usually takes up a space along the Riverwalk on Wednesdays.
Hi, planning a trip with my older parents for our first trip to the fiesta. Is it worth it to go midweek and pay for the Gondola experience if there isn't a mass ascension planned that day? Looks like the weekend days already sold out for the Gondola and Chasers club.
all of those special tickets sell out so fast. It really depends on their ability to walk around- and whether they are willing to use porta potties. The weekdays are nice because they aren't quite so crowded, and there are still plenty of balloons. I think the most exciting thing is to walk around real close to the balloons, and at the gondola club you are a little far away. If they can walk around a bit and are willing to use porta potties, I would take park and ride to the park. Then they can get up close and personal- you can also bring lawn chairs and on a week day I think you could find a spot to sit in a lawn chair and save the cost of the gondola club. good luck!
Beautiful love the videos
Thanks so much!!
Thank you for sharing🙏Have a good one!👋
You are most welcome!! Thank you for checking it out!!!
Nice information and video. Thank you for sharing. Wishing you a fantastic day and a great week 🙂
Thanks so much!! You have a great day and week as well!😀👍
Nice walk in Vancouver. Thank you for sharing and have a great week 😊
This area of Vancouver was so pretty! Thanks for watching!
I have so much FOMO right mow. I tried to go there the last 2 times but it was too far from our route! A tour and wine - what a combo. And had no idea there’s a lot more things to do in that area. And you went all out going to 2 farms. Space Museums are always so fun and huge. Many times I barely make it either where I have to cruise also. My family would love White sands. Thanks for taking us around.
We had a really good time! Ice cream and wine for lunch. Yes 👍😂😂
Coffee for you!
Thank you thank you! I LOVE coffee!! ☕️ 😀😀 your super thanks are so very appreciated!!!
That`s the one I like Salted & Roasted. Great Video and sunset...Thanks.
Pistachios are my favorite!! Thanks so much for checking it out!
Wow more beautiful than I remembered. Thanks for being fearless to hike to the top for the spectacular views of the falls. Loved this video.
Thank you Debbie! It is truly spectacular!!!
I enjoyed your video and stayed in downtown for a week during this same timeframe. Not thrilled about the trolls stalking your comments section.
Thank you so much for your comment. No worries about the trolls. The good news is is when there are trolls that means you’re getting views lol😂😂
Se te olvidó lo más importante , visitar la casa donde estar el árbol de rosas mas grande del mundo ‘ récord Guinness’ además decir que también tienen un espectáculo tipo pistoleros del oeste !
I know we missed that! It's a shame, it sounds incredible!!!
Thank you!!!! Planning for the next one.
You're so welcome!
It called my son name it said hes school name Aiken 😱😱😱
😂😂
Missed all the bad spots
I guess we were lucky!
Why did yiu bypass Manzanita?? 🤔 Didnt even show the Punch Bowl! Yaquina (Yuh-keen-uh)
Thank you- it's a shame I missed the view for punch bowl, I didn't know at the time what I was missing! That's why Is showed the google earth view because it looked incredible!!! Also didn't stop in Manzanita, just too much to see and not enough time, I definitely check it out next time!
Mo's?? Really?? 🤣 Whyvnot go to the smaller place, like Morris' Fireside Restaurant in Cannon Beach. (The "gray" log house...weathered wood. LOL) Their chowder, salad and bread loaf is so much better than Mo's any day! 👍🏼
we'll remember that place next time we are in Cannon Beach. We stayed in Lincoln City, and someone else at that hotel from a nearby town, recommended Mo's. We had never been anywhere in that town, so we ate there on their recommendation :-)
Visited San Antonio in 1992. Wunderwunderschön, so you might visit it.
Next time!

So hiking is free but you also have the option to rent an e-bike right?
Hiking there was free. I didn’t see any e-bikes there. We were there in late March. Not sure if the situation is different in the summer
You've had amazing travels! Glad you share, awesome content.
Thank you! This was a great trip!
Your good fortune to be able tour the northwest and video without being rained on leads me to think you should buy a lottery ticket.🧲 Glad your enjoying your tour, thanks for sharing.
so true we were crazy lucky!!! The weather was quite lovely!
The waterfront is really pretty and looks really new. The maps you have been incorporating really help orient the area. Seems like you had the place to yourself. That hotel is super contemporary. You got some good steps there.
Thanks again Carl! This was a really pretty area, and yes indeed quiet. It was the perfect place to kill a few hours before heading back to the airport.
We went there a few years ago, spectacular👍
It is so incredible! It never gets old!! 😍 Thanks for checking out the video!
Did the hike up the mountain to the top. There’s an obelisk there and a book you can sign. It was a challenge, I was 57 when I did it, but well worth it. Also been to the ranch. Love that park and the scenery, even 20 miles to the south as you drive up highway 54 from Vanhorne.
Maybe one day I’ll make it up that hike!! Thank you for sharing!!
There's still a high office vacancy rate and percentage of remote workers after the pandemic and protests. That's why you see little foot traffic on the streets in this video. This is true for a lot of downtowns in large cities around the country.
I’ve heard that it’s quite sad
Daughter and I will be visiting this area. Very helpful video. Thank you!
It’s so incredible!! Enjoy!
Traffic!!! The bane of The Cove and let's not forget to mention those who think THEY are animal whisperer's and hold up traffic because of there insanity lol but it's all SO worth it!
😂😂 yes- you definitely can’t be in a hurry here
You missed the Devil's Punchbowl by about...25 yds. The viewpoint is at the western most point of that parking lot. It's huge, I'm surprised you couldn't hear it.
Oh my lord!! So close! I also didn’t know what i was missing at the Thors well stop!! Hopefully there will be a next time!! Thanks for checking it out! 👍
@@SwiftyTravels oh no! You didn’t see Thor’s Well either?
I live herein portland. It has SOOOO much homelessness, crime, drugs being used on the streets and horrible graffiti every where
It is sad. We have similar problems here in New Mexico
I lived in Vancouver, WA for several years and didn't know this was there. It is wonderful.
Thanks! I had never visited it either when I lived in Portland!
What an incredible mansion! Love that the original interior has been largely retained - helps imagine what life would have been like. Never watched Downtown Abbey but the mansion seems similar to the mansion in Peaky Blinders which was set in 1920 - 1930s.
I totally need to watch Peaky Blinders!! This mansion was awesome! Thanks for checking it out!
um. just do touch and go's at the airport mainly. prob head off to see carlsbad caverns, it's near. maybe. weeds legal. other than that not much to do. head over to pestachio land maybe
Yes- 😂we recently visited Pistachioland!
@@SwiftyTravels good solid fun lol
🥰 the clouds👍
NM has the best skies!!!
Is it first come first serve for sitting?
There are certain sections available to you depending on what ticket you paid for but within that section it’s first come first serve to whatever seat you want
@@SwiftyTravelsthanks for the info
@@SwiftyTravelsany specific angle you recommend we should try to get….thinking getting the middle package.
@@mikemacar7004 no I don’t think there are any bad seats. You can move your seat slightly away from the table during the show if you need to adjust. Have fun!
Thank you. Awesome
Thanks so much for checking it out!!
What is number 4? Why not put an actual name?
Good point!- it’s the vessel at Hudson Yards
I love the Japanese Garden. We have seen several of these in our travels. This one looks magnificent. Such a peaceful place to wander around and take in the beauty. And I am sure those roses are gorgeous in bloom. Thanks for taking along on the tour of some highlights of Washington Park!
Thank you! There is so much to see here in Washington Park!!!
