I looked at them and while they looked self-explanatory, I was worried I would still somehow bumble it up and cut him on accident. This was a big help!!!

Just giving myself a trim before going on holiday to Turkey l asked my wife to make sure my neck line was OK....With the guard removed she did a lovely bald strip for about 4 inches in the centre of my skull from my neck..😮. When she does is now we double check 😂. I told some Turkish bloke it was a new trend in the UK 😅

If u use both them on the same ear alternating directions you will get the little bit you missed at the front of the ear 😅
Is that recommended? I just move it to the front a bit to cover that area.
@@geofatboy The Wahl instruction booklet actually says to do that. Keep one guard one, do one ear back to front then go front to back on the other ear, then change the guard and do the same thing from the other side, so each ear gets both a back to front and front to back buzz.

The wahl instructions actually say to start with the R guard, then go from back to front on the right side THEN go front to back on the left side with the same guard. Then switch to the L guard and go back to front on the left side and then go front to back on the right side with that guard.
I think the key is going back to front at least once with the correct guard, and then going front to back on the other ear might just catch whatever the first pass missed.
I dunno. Do whatever works. I just wanted to point out what the instructions say.

Any idea what is the longest and shortest ends trim size?
shortest part is a 1/2 guard and the highest point is a 2. I use this thing on the regular.
although i realize that Geo's goes from 4 to a 2. (he mentions it in another video)
Those trimmers have a lever that has some adjustment. I think you need to put the guard on and then use the lever to change to what you want.

It's ok to do, so long as you go from the front to the back instead 😂
Works better to do back to front on the correct ear, then go front to back on the opposite ear. Then swap them over and do the opposite.
Silly question. (Woman with a buzzcut here.) What length are those R and L guards set to?
I can't get a definitive answer but I believe they are about 3.
If I use them around the ears first then go up from there with the 3 it blends pretty evenly.
