he always places his feet towards the lower part of the platform. he had good ankles for it and it allowed him to get a full stretch and keep tension on the quads

With yiur feet all the way back like that try it in the beginning it takes getting use to you elevate the heel and its a much harder push try it I bet you will be crying like I was. That shit was monstrously difficult .. but I like it
@@vieshanblacksloft426you can squat with your heels elevated if done correctly. You just have no experience thats why platz would smoke you in a leg day exercise one.
That's a very efficient hack squat machine. It's more upright which means it has a smaller footprint than most HS, so you also won't need to load as much weight. 👌
You havent seen a man eat until youve seen P.L.A.T.Z after DESTROYING legs, we went to an all you can eat buffet and he was eating plate after plate after plate after plate, the thing that suprised me though is he was walking back to the table and a fry fell off down onto the floor, he stood there with his mouth open for a out 5.5 seconds before saying "this. Is. Unbelievable" he picks up the fry with perfect form and starts squatting it for reps, he must have done at least 20 sets of 50, at the end he ate the fry explaining "gotta fuel the muscles haha!" I was absolutely shocked as he sits down like nothing happened, everyone else in the restaurant was discussing among themselves when Platz would start to let out these obnoxious fake laughs while saying "Yeah, Im Tom Platz" and he would look around to see if anyone was checking what was going on, it ended with him standing on the table and saying as loud as he could "YOU HAVE TO DRIVE WITH THE HEEL!!!... IM TOM PLATZ!!!" He eventually gave up so I was glad but was let down when he fake tripped on his way out the door and covered his mouth to create the illusion of a stranger commenting *muffled* "IS THAT TOM PLATZ?"
The irony is that Tom made his wealth, his world wide notoriety with his awesome physique, especially his enormous legs, but that's also the reason why he NEVER won the Olympia, because of the lack of total symetry between the lower and the upper body. And his upper body was very impressive too.
