Thank you Col. I'm diving back to the game after a long absence, so tha's why I just saw your vid. I savored every tip on the mosquito (6 hrs online experience). Found it to be the most challenging plane to takeoff. Need all the help I can get. This is the best tutorial on the Mossie I've seen yet; easy & very informative.

Thank you. Many people just rush into a machine and get airborne, but if you want to survive on the advanced MP servers you have a few essentials to learn.
I'm really struggling with the take off on this. It always seems to yaw way too much then spins out. In flight i'm ok. But that take off is horrendous and with no proper tutorial either I'm not sure on what to do to get it in the air correctly as you make it look so easy.
Try adding pwr more slowly and tapping the left/right brakes to keep her straight. You will have no rudder authority until the speed gets up and the tail flies. Alternatively, try holding both brakes on and bringing up the pwr, then releasing. Heavy fuel or bomb loads will affect the c of G and tendency to groundloop. Try 1/4 tank fuel, no ordnance. Until you can consistently control the takeoff you shouldn't be trying to go on a mission. Learn to fly it first, and go from there.
This may be the best light aircraft pilots tutorial yet... a lot to unpack sim or real, back to my hassel checks, thank you.
Thank you fry. But it only has value to me if it improves your knowledge and skill level.

why il2 mosquito does not have an antenna ..
I don't know. Perhaps that was a mod.
Great content. A very jittery vid though.
It's my nerves, man, my nerves. Actually no idea why it should be so.
