I totally agree, sorry to say I have ADHD and my favs videos are under 4 mins. Yo kept my attention the whole time, I’m 60, so no matter what you do, I’m sure you’ll have fan base of any age to follow you. I have to check the products you are selling.
I rarely, if never, comment on any videos. But my goodness. Talbot, Lionel, and the gang! This was amazing! Over an hour of authentic content from Lionel, can’t ask for any better way to get me through my Thursday. I never want these to end. Thank you❤
Inspiration 210%! I've just started running at age 49 after a long battle with drugs and alcohol. Jumping right into a 5k on the 20th. I'm a 16 minutes a mile guy at best. I've got a long way to go to. This 5k will be a learning experience for sure. I have no idea what I'm doing. Just guidance by different You Tube videos. Lionel and Nick Bare's are my main two. I love the grind. I'm at the very least going to hybrid train for the rest of my life. Love hitting walls and taking those steps long after. I'm addicted to it I think. I'm a recovering addict. Go figure. I'll be a runner til I die! GREAT VIDEO GUYS! THANK YOU!!
In would recommend getting a Garmin watch that has access to their training plans. Your watch will tell you exactly what to do based on your goals and current fitness. As you improve you can then add in a subscription to an AI coach like Humango. They have plan levels starting at $9.99/month that is a little more adaptive than Garmin plans based on how you feel on a given day and whether you miss a workout, etc. I am currently using the $29.99/month plan to train for a Half Ironman and it is working well so far. Way cheaper than a human coach, or a gym membership is how I justify it. Good luck in your fitness journey!
Lionels low heart rate always surprises me! Only 130BPM for a hard session like this when most people might be 160+BPM. Its so interesting to see how each individual athlete is different. Go Lionel!
I’m no elite but I’ve always had low heart rate. Highest I’ve ever hit is 172 in an XC race when I was younger. My hard sessions would be 140’s. I thought I was a freak until I saw Lionel’s heart rates.
Very true... I am over 40 and still have a max HR of 190 - in hard session I easily get it up to 175-180. And I have done endurance sports for over 20 years, of course on a much lower level.
Don't waste another day without investing in a nutritionist! As you mentioned before, when you had one, you had one of your best, if not the best, races ever. By that time, you knew yourself much less than you do now. I want to see you on every podium. Love you, man!
I am just a guy that enjoys bicycling and working on continually improving my health after years of not doing anything for it but since finding Lionel's channel I find that I feel more motivated. I like what seems like a no nonsense approach that he takes when he wants to reach a goal. I have to be like that with myself so that I don't talk myself out of things that I know that I want to accomplish. I really need to work on getting more sleep but I find that hard to do. It is sometimes hard to quiet my thoughts but I will keep pushing forward. I feel inspired when I come here and see Lionel's training videos and I just want to say thank you so, Thank you!
Dude a leak in the bottle while maintaining 360watts...probably the most insane / impressive stat that I heard in this video. Epic content, keep it coming.
My almost two year old son was fascinated watching the run and swim potions of the video. He was just mesmerized! Thank you for inspiring the young and the old!
Love his nutritionist plan. Most of the time people know what they’re doing wrong and still ask advice. Do what you believe is correct then ask what you can do better, instead of just hearing what you already know is wrong. Super rate this!
Love the long video. It is fascinating though that he starts talking about how little he knows about nutrition and than talks with such conviction about his new way of eating 😄
Loved this video. Makes me want to train hard and recover properly. Really enjoyed seeing the workouts and the dedication needed to be at the top. Video and music by Talbot was amazing. I'm less than 6 weeks away from Victoria half. Can't wait to see Lionel and Sam crush it all summer. The same for Trevor & Ben. Take care guys.
That was a beauty of a vid. I saved it for my couch entertainment and it was worth it. Such a harmonious symbiosis of the main character and the filmmaker.
I just don’t understand how one can analyze their training so intensely and not for one second think about or look at their nutrition for the last decade. It’s mind blowing.
Not sure if youll see this Lionel but I personally love the Kickr Climb when riding zwift routes as you did in this session. Really changes the feel and more importantly when you raise the front end to simulate different gradients you recruit way different muscle groups and 'real world' riding positions. Just my 2 cents worth. Big love
100%. Its funny to me, too. When he started saying about how he wasn´t conscious about anything and accomplished so much with that lifestyle. Imagine now though...
One thing I’d recommend super strongly: tracking of calories is fine; tracking of macronutrients is even more important. Looking at the 6000 kcal consumed I’d still argue that the protein intake is too low for someone with Lionel’s energy expenditure and recovery needs. Brilliant video and thanks!
Glad to see the nutrition is coming along. I haven’t personally done a lot of research on it, but I have heard some doctors that specialize in nutrition, say that whenever consuming protein that it is best to consume at least 30g at a time to signal to the body and keep it in an anabolic state. Might be beneficial to up the recovery protein shakes a little bit more to get to that 30g mark to get those wings in the pool.
And I've heard that your body can only really process 20g of protein at once, so I guess we either need to do some more fucking research or just back off and let the experts be experts.
Let’s gooo! Stoked about the early morning wake ups!!
You and Lionel doing a workout together would be amazing!
Upvote to make this collab happen 👍👍
You’re starting to inspire the pros now too!
I can’t believe they put your face over the baby😂
An hour + Lionel sanders video? Yes, please! Thanks for the entertainment for my indoor ride

Shit at that pace I’d be bordering on 180bpm 😅😅😅

Dude has a left ventricle the volume of a friggin softball! Unreal HR…..
His max HR is around 168

talbot absolutely crushing it!! thanks for the amazing editing, lionel as always just so freaking inspirational!! let’s go get some tape now!!

Like Kenenisa Bekele. He was doing horrible. Then after got a nutritionist got 2nd fastest marathon ever in Berlin. Absolutely a must in this game!
I mean he was eating pizza and fastfood apparently so the bar was not very high for improvement lol
You don't win races because of nutrition, but you can lose because of it 😉
Talbot has leveled up the editing! Love it!
Lionel really nailed the second take around 17:07. He really is becoming a quality UA-cam actor.

It's pretty gross but I laughed out loud - best moment of the video!
First time ive seen all the metrics including pace and HR in a video... LOVE IT - so good to see your schedule
Love the 48 hours video. I like the format too with your total food intake stats. Thanks for the great video
Great video Talbot!! Bring on the summer 💪
Hey man! What shorts were you wearing on beginning run? Looking good bro, always rooting for you both!
Good luck in boulder
"i don't care about heart rate," while putting on a heart rate band...loved it.
It means they aren’t watching it but collecting data anyway
reallyyyyy liked it, repeat please.
Even with all the metrics and calories, everything was perfect
My almost two year old son was fascinated watching the run and swim potions of the video. He was just mesmerized! Thank you for inspiring the young and the old!

Good luck Lionel. Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition!!!!!
Way to go Dad! Parenthood looks awesome on you.
Another great video! Free speed available on Lionel’s swim: need to leave forward hand glide before starting stroke. More distance per stroke.
Amazing work Team Lionel… keep this content rolling
Honestly one of the best youtube videos I have seen in a long time, cant wait to see more.
Great video. Love the metric animations and the sharing of data.
FYI it is "en routè" 😊
No it isn't
Thank you Lionel for all of the data and unfiltered comments - incredibly generous of you - for us age groupers this video is a gift!!!
Learning, learning, growing, growing! NO LIMITS!!!
Lionel is the man. I don’t even follow triathlon anymore but I’ll watch all his stuff. The guy oozes inspiration
8 miles easy at 6:25 pace, HR under 120. We are different species 🤣
Love the long video. It is fascinating though that he starts talking about how little he knows about nutrition and than talks with such conviction about his new way of eating 😄
This was so good. Thx for posting Burt and LS. Pls continue to make this type of video. So authentic.
Yes!!!! This is the best day ever!!!!!! Thx LS from Canada!!!
Remarkable change in energy!! Love it!
I’m excited to see the results of this new mentality. You’re definitely on the right path this time! Keep it up! 😊

Lionel and Talbot, awesome!
Loved the video, even more, loved your performance at Boulder 70.3. What an exciting finish!
love it..Lionel holds a spoon like a prisoner eating a mess table. 🤣
That was a beauty of a vid. I saved it for my couch entertainment and it was worth it. Such a harmonious symbiosis of the main character and the filmmaker.
What a treat! Hour of Lionel!

Amazing content! An hour of lionel make your indoor ride waaaay easier 😎
This is just on a whole new other level of content quality. U just passed the game etirely, congrats team!
More please!!! Great job guys.
I just don’t understand how one can analyze their training so intensely and not for one second think about or look at their nutrition for the last decade. It’s mind blowing.
Well, when you train that hard you can get away with eating anything and feel fine. But the older you get, the more it begins to matter.
I also want to mention that I did really enjoy the vlog.
@@angelrivas4042 42 years old 🙋🏼♂️ can testify that nutrition and recovery matter more and more as you age that’s a 100% fact.
I kinda agree but he must burn an insane amount of calories.
@@angelrivas4042 Do you think Jan neglected his nutrition while he was winning everything?
This is the one of the best material of the channel for me so far. All the Team and everything raw like is supposed to be 🙌🙌.
Talbot you're the man📽📸
Loved this video. Incredible, high quality content, nice flow, funny inserted advertisements. Thanks for this!

Imagine being a professional athlete, and having an epiphany that eating healthy food is going to be important. Lol.
100%. Its funny to me, too. When he started saying about how he wasn´t conscious about anything and accomplished so much with that lifestyle. Imagine now though...
This is hands down the best content I've seen by Lionel, can't wait for the next video
Great music. Thanks for the video 💪🏼💪🏼

The Sam long head cracks me up

Absolutely awesome stuff!! Incredibly motivating man. Helps me push through my day seeing you absolutely crush it! Hope you keep these coming 🙏🏽
Wonderful video. Really enjoyed it.
Great video guys - glad to see things working out. Best of luck for the upcoming races
Does not care what his heart rate is as he puts on a HRM. Love it!! LOL! (min 33)
I have no idea how he can recover overnight after such workouts. Amazing.
I wear an Austin 3:16 shirt to every race. So it’s nice to see someone else in triathlon rocking a Stone Cold t-shirt.
More of these please!!
Love it! Keep them coming
Loved every minute. Merci
Great video of 48hrs in LS life
Love this long video format
Supernice! Great content, thanks.
Amazing drone footage, props 🔥
