That moment when Tadej cringed at the bike resting on the frame and refused to let the guy take a picture until he parked his bike properly. He's a pure rider at heart.
@julianallen515 yes treat your bike correctly, leaning it against a rock wall is not a good move, a thin steel frame can easily be dented....all paint can be chipped with a small movement.
What a lovely, modest, unassuming young man. He was totally 100% in the moment, looking at Matt when he spoke to him, not in a hurry. Rides for the fans, on emotion, just wants to have fun. I hope he rides healthy for many, many more years. Oh and I'm lowering my seat after watching his position on the bike.
Runs his cleats back I think the formula brings your seat lower and more forward. I just had a pro fit and that’s what they changed on my fit and it is working great for me.
@kk.-_ here's the thing, everyone is different. 2 brothers, champions in their day, identical twins, rode different seat heights, actually very different positions and styles, yet both dropped the likes of Phil Anderson in their day. You absolutely have to know yourself, and set your position accordingly. Me personally, i ride a higher than normal seat height, yet lower than normal on the track.

Valentino Rossi was indeed full of energy but he was also quite arrogant and always ready for a verbal fight with other riders. Tadej on the contrary is a fun guy loving the sports and generally being humble and loved by everybody
6 months later, I don't think we've all realized what an excellent job the team did in making this film. Nice and Eze have the most beautiful coastlines in the world, but the way they filmed it is truly remarkable.
My favourite World Tour pro rider of the current generation. Not just because of his talent, but the way he races, how he can race, and his attitude and sense of humour.
Must have been a drag for Tadej having to wait for Matt to take selfies with all his fans on the ride. Great content. Tadej has a really good sense of humour, rooting for the kid in this years tour.

I don't know if anyone will read this comment, but me and my brother went to Budapest for the ITT during the Giro 2022, the crowds were big and we went to the finish after the race had ended. Weirdly we got an autograph from Bradley Wiggins which was nice, then we to the commentators box and simply winked to Matt and he came rushing down to greet us. He had no idea who we were but he chatted and gave us autographs, such a nice guy despite being on TV constantly!
Really enjoyed this. I've been glued to Le Tour 2024 on Eurosport and it's great to see Tadej away from competing. He is so humble and respectful with a sharp sense of humour. I love him even more. Well done Matt and the team for giving us a glimpse inside the world of the great one !! 💪👏

The things only people from Balkan will understand: 1) Pork fat, 2) Čvarci, 3) Baklava, 4) Domaća jaja, 5) Domaće buhtle 👍 But the crown is the fact he corrected the guy putting his bike against the wall! As much as viewers want a show, truth is so many fans want to know the rider enough that they are a real person and not just a bike, a helmet and a face. That's when the race matters because you can imagine what the rider you follow is thinking. Nice job, and thanks.
My favorite part is the wheelie coming up the climb while the bus driver waits patiently in the background. I think here in the USA, you would be getting the horn and the bus would be squeezing by, going over the opposite lane to get by
I love Matt and the Cafe rides, such entertainment and I always come away with a smile and buoyant mood. Tadej seems such a genuine and down to earth guy. My favourite, non-CX Big 3, rider. Good Luck in July.
Discovering this video after the TdF it's incredibly awesome... living the atmosphere of the video already knowing the outcome and seeing such a great guy like Tadej in an easier environment than the sport's media during the races it's so wonderful. Gremo Tadej ❤
Tadej is such a nice character, all the best for the next tour!! Very good and likeable interview by Matt as always. Beautiful filmed coffee ride - thanks a lot.
Thanks for this treat. One of the best. Together with Cecilie Ludwig and Daniel Oss the most fun one to watch. Gotta love grounded, humorous and humble professionals.
