When you can find a partner, preferably a higher belt, that can, or agrees to flow roll, it's a beautiful thing. Great for warming up, or for fighters that are done training for a fight, but just want to cut weight by continually moving without the risk of being injured.
It's also infinite fun and the beauty of jiu-jitsu. Discovering new potential moves, trying out courageous crazy stuff : )
that purple belt has siiiiickkkkk technique
I really wish I could train at your school.
I think he is based out of Bend, Oregon.
that was almost flow rolling but not quite
Nice flowing. Flowing is complex and requires TWO active participants. So many times guys will ask me to flow, then suddenly bust out pulling fingers, holding submissions, etc......... Key = TWO ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS.
I think the purple belt was trying a little too hard. You can see his face turn red and he's breathing heavy. He should look just like the black belt, not breaking a sweat.
not really flowing if one guy is just going for submissions
