Thank you for watching The Triangle Choke from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt Requirements. - Спорт
I have no words to thank you! Here in Ethiopia, there is no any bjj school. Such kind of videos are a great gift for people like us. Thanks a lot Sensei Ron.
Your instruction is superb! It is simple enough for beginners and is an excellent review for instructors.
What an amazingly well done series of videos these are. Just incredible.
Roy much thanks for the triangle choke vids. Truly amazing work, the photos, and your explications of the techniques are fantastic! Thanks again!
You make me fall in love with Jiu jitsu. I have watched all your series.

Great Job Roy!
The best explanation I've ever heard. Keep it up!
Awesome video! Thank you! You're a great teacher.

Where have you been all my life. Your channel is awesome.

Cool vid, thanks!
The detail is excellent.
such smooth and simple moves, can't wait to try these out in my lesson...if I can remember in the heat of the moment!
The triangle choke is my favorite submission.... never had it broken down so well though!! Thanks a million.

Thank you very much you are the best teacher I am going to use it

A very good demonstration, maybe so far, one of the best.
Great tutorial.

Very Nice!!!!
He’s awesome
Loving it:))
roy dean is an amazing instructor and practitioner. take what he says seriously he is very skilled.
Excellent video. I have been training for a year and have a terrible triangle. I think the tips on the set up will help.
great!
Very Good
Thanks that was excellent
Hello,
you are a really good teacher, i am very happy with your videos,
Great move at the end. Only defence i know of to defend triangle is to stand. Just simply switching leg over face for armbar is so simple but so crazy/elegant.
very good videos
excelente
awesome
1.43-1.53 is pure beauty. :)
Nice. I've been flailing around without direction, using too much strength and burning myself out on the mat. Time to nail a couple of techniques and move my BJJ forward. Will be buying this DVD... awesome.
u r a genius!!!!!!
respect!
cool 'combo', great tutorial!
This guy is a genius
New white belt here. This is the most helpful video on the triangle I've seen yet. Thank you and great breakdown for the n00bs like me!
Excelente tecnica !!! Ossu
nice BJJ submissions with the triangle..trying to get into studying this as well Gj
my favorite choke
Definately gonna do this in my judo class. Have always run into problems when I get the lock, but the positioning isnt good. His explanation on how to adjust is fucking fantastic. Thanks dude.
Great video. Helped me in my fight lol
Very good...Muito Bom...Muy Bien...Aprendi muito com esses vídeos...thanks uchideshi!
Roy is as thorough as Rorion...very detailed
Another option for helping lock in the triangle is to drive the opponent's head toward the ground when you first hook behind the head. By pulling across, you're turning your hips which makes it a little easier to lock in behind the knee.
he is very good...like my coach
Brilliant instructional. I am a white belt and I've only managed a triangle a hnadfull of times. I've tried the armlock and everyone pulls the arm out. I'm going to practice this chain from now on.
Such an excellent instructor! Can't wait to purchase your white-blue belt series! Do you have an estimate how many of these type tutorials are on it just so i can have an idea?
Your instructional videos are really good. I wish I could do the triangle as good as you. I find it always very hard to complete though, as I have shorter legs and I'm often practicing with meatheads that are much bigger than me. lol
Thanks a lot. Here in Ethiopia, instructional DVDs are the only option to train BJJ.
chillen bruv
my favorite tecnic in judo
Thanks for the tutorial, I see what I was doing wrong now. Maybe if you state WHY a move is important (what the consequence is if not done) it'll get through to more people. While doing this I found if my right leg was over their neck my wrestling partner would just fall over to my left and I'd lose the triangle. The foot on the hip with left foot was very helpful to avoiding that.
dope
very dangerous... BUT VERY COOL!
I can never seem to lock the triangle . I cant wait to try these details :)
This guy has great hips. I bet at full speed he is increadibly fast. Great instructional video. One of the best I have seen yet on this technique.
Love that blue gi, what make
Damn he slaps that triangle on quick.
briliant though...
True. I have LONG legs and I get it easy but I have trouble getting it tight and right.
i learn
@Sindrijo i find theres always a what if situation. so to answer your question, of course you could do that, but if a jiu jitsu guy really knows what hes doing, hell know how to defend it.
Hi Dean! I have problem with 3angle choke :[ nice technique I will try to work more with it! 5/5 Stars
is my favorite... i won by that in judo
ATA!
@VitorMartinsCunha good eye! I totally would have missed that if you hadn't pointed it out.
Oh and when you go for that armbar-triangle, are you going for that arm bar hoping/expecting them to pull their arm out or is the switch to the triangle just a backup?
Gonna try this on my neighbour Borat!
which dvd is this clip on?
this is my favorite next to guillotine :D
Quick question. When you pull the arm across does it need to be under the chin or is it ok if it is across the chin/mouth?
@ZakiTemple Hello, Zaki.
From which of his dvds was this taken?
....no that's not quite right....adjust yourself....here....pull on the head...yesss!
@DontAskForHotsauce
True! I don t like eighter. Beginners go for the slamming all the time. And the problem is I never play hard with anyone. But wenn that happens I go in to survival/fight mode. Kinda ugly...
pretty sure in bjj every technique that makes the oppenent tap becomes a favourite technique.
can someone explain the rubber guard what's the point i hear they say you have an arm free to do with what you want but with this you have both arms?
what submission has the best success rate?
How does he make this look so easy??
☮️🙏🏻👏
The pivot motion into an arm lock while on one's neck and head can be dangerous for the performer. I've seen guys get bent backwards hurting their neck in competions. Be careful with that one. Myself, I won't put myself in that postion. I'd release and maybe take him back down with a De LA Riva.
Nice wrist lock 01:53 X)
@DontAskForHotsauce if someone try to pick you up when you do triangle, you just transfer to an arm bar, they're done.
I'm trying this right now to my wife
