West world is totally an unsung hidden Masterpiece of a game. Between sci-fi story and graphics, this game had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I highly recommend it.
I am super happy to see you are making great quality videos as usual but also noticed how often you are uploading, remember to give yourself some time and don't burn out, we want you here for the long run! Cheers
Awesome thanks for the list. I've been making one myself and holding off playing VR until my beyond comes in to dive back in to VR. Half-Life Alyx is unlike any other for me. I hope more come out like Alyx and surpass it.
I really like Air Car. It's a free 'Blade Runner' flying-car simulator. It's got an upgrade-your-car game aspect, but it is a chilled game to fly around in.
That's the first PCVR thing I ever tried after PSVR1 and I literally shouted out loud and almost fell out of my chair and felt like I was about to fall and die when I tried to figure out the controls and pitched forward. The rain on the cockpit glass is so good.
The title: 25 VR Games With STUNNING GRAPHICS The content: 25 VR Games With STUNNING GRAPHICS This is peak video, i mean it. This is true quality content. Love your channel man
right? I'm sort of doing the same thing. I had some great ones right off the bat (almost every racing sim in existence, especially Assetto Corsa, and of course Half Life Alyx. Bought it for $20 even though I had no plans of buying a VR unit soon) but I'm interested in the ones I don't have yet too.
That is a excellent list of VR games with good graphics and story that people need to play I'm happy to say that I have over half the ones on the list.
Lone Echo 1 and 2 are some of the best games I have played.. vr or otherwise. The game mechanics are fairly simple but the story and pacing are just amazing and the graphics are top notch. Experienced on a Valve Index using Revive.
Really? Is it because of the story? I heard that the games are kind of simple and don't have a lot of action. I'm not against playing that sort of game and I've loved a few but right now, I'm looking to get a new VR game and I want it to be something I'd like the most. I do love a great story and sometimes they can make me like a bad game better than a great game, but not all "great" stories vibe with me. Most of the time they do though.
@@HugoStiglitz88 The story is very good, I don't know if you have ever read a "rendezvous with Rama" by Arthur C Clarke, I got vibes from that story throughout the first game, the second game expands on the story from the first game in a major way and improves on the first game massively in every department. The character animation of your only real sidekick in the game (Captain Olivia Rhodes) is something to behold, her face shows emotion when she talks in a way I don't think Ive seen in a game before. So yeah, somewhat simple mechanics, deep rich story with a LOT of attention to detail throughout,
I agree it's underrated in its current form. A poor performing launch didn't do it any favours for many players. Except for the terrible NPC freaky eyes, and the awful water scenes. Those two things are a huge let down.
9:36 This made StarFox64 VR pop into my head. Yeah it would be kind of weird in the narrow stages, but some sort of StarFox game like this in VR would be cool.
Honestly, I don't think The Climb 2 looks like, in your words, "doo doo". The atmosphere is still retained with the insects, animals, and all sorts of things to make the maps alive. You won't be focusing on texture quality so much when you're focusing on not falling to your death, and the levels get very creative at times, especially with the city setting.
imagine what VR games looks like on year 3000 and beyond.. real life ready player one.. what a great timeline to be alive.. i wish im still alive on that year..
I'd quite like to see a video on Skyrim VR, personally I can never get it to look quite right, it always just looks a little off/blurry, I tried some DLAA techniques and it looked pretty good, but certainly takes a bit of a performance hit. On a sidenote, I'd have to agree, HL Alex has to be my all time favorite VR game aswell, hope to see valve do more with VR in the future because they absolutely killed it with Alex
Really? Maybe because the standards were so low but I had it on PS VR 1 and I thought it looked great. Maybe it's just because it had higher res than most PS VR 1 games. Like Robinson the journey still looks stunning on PSVR 1 but it's blurry for sure.
Great list! Half Life Alyx is still my bar. Absolutely mind-bending sometimes I felt like I was dreaming. The ending sequence is one of the most incredible things I've experienced as a gamer ever. I'm gonna have to try out a few of the ones I haven't got to yet!
First time? :) If so, I wish I could be in your shoes! The first time playing that game was magical for me. But I bet it also had to do with it being my very first VR experience as well. I had no real experience of VR and jumping into that world was just something else!
I'd like to see a list some time of games with good looking people. Not just simple blocks and shapes or PS2-graphics, but nice looking people (whether realistic or not). Most games don't have all that many and most of the VR games with great graphics don't even feature many, if any people. Ideally it'd be something with towns to visit like Skyrim VR... except with better graphics. Basically looking for VR games with lively worlds, not barren ones almost devoid of friendly life.
@@trevor4685 i would agree with you a year ago but with the recent unreal engine 5 update graphics look very realistic. Significantly improved lighting and higher resolution textures
@rindoe4139 yes but it still isn't one of the best looking games out there my any means, it still looks a bit out dated in terms of graphics, this list is about top notch realism
Project Cars 2 is not available for sale anymore due to expired licenses, but its spiritual successor Automobilista 2 has the same graphics engine and works great in VR.
Great list, the only game I think I'd add is the base version of Elite: Dangerous. Not as high-end graphically as most of the titles you listed, but still very impressive and the scale and the feeling ya get flying these huge spaceships is pretty much unparalleled and can create these awesome visual experiences. THE ISSUE: the devs have kinda messed the game up over the years so it has some annoying mega-grindiness and shallow mechanics while also being a relatively complicated game to learn. And even worse, the most recent DLC called "Odyssey" is terrible, so I do not recommend ever buying that (plus, the Odyssey update also ruined the performance for the game which messes up the VR experience big time. Just a dogshit update!). BUT if you stick to the base game (which includes everything made for the game before Odyssey was released, and that's all you would want anyway), then you're getting one of the best VR games and space sims ever and usually it's dirt cheap when it goes on sale (and it's often on sale). I could go on about the issues with the game itself, but the flight model and the scale of the game and the ships works perfectly in VR and it's very nice to look at. Just don't buy Odyssey and you'll have a good time with nice performance and visuals.
Form have the awesome graphics. One of the nicest I seen Robo Recall have pretty good graphics despite the fact it was a very early VR game The gallery (2 episodes) are quests (or walking simulators) that have pretty good geaphics Blade&Sorcery look good with the lastes updates Karnage Chronicles have a nice lighting, but it's too boring for me Bonelab graphics are good too, althrough the game istself worse than boneworks IMO
Feel like most of these "stunning games" are good looking, but lack in gameplay... If you want a good shooter that has good tactical gameplay like Ready or Not, take a look at Tactical Assault VR. It's ok the app lab store for quest, and is even getting a PC port. Also if you wanna join a squad feel free to hit me up. It's a pretty neat, but little known experience of Ready or Not in VR. Also, most of these games require PCVR, or Oculus link, which the poster failed to mention. So essentially, you're running a game on your PC, and streaming it to VR. Tactical Assault VR runs native on quest, without a need for a link or anything.
Dirt rally 2 looks great in flat screen, pretty crap in vr tho, just can’t quite handle the switch. Especially when you really NEED to favor fps over quality in your settings to be able to drive well.

6:07 "Come on Valve, do something with VR, it's been over 3 years". I'm sorry to say this, but I have some bad news for you...
Batman Arkham VR is so well optimized! It ran well on my old computer with an i5 4670 and GTX 1650 super, and still looked AMAZING!
I've only recently played Defector, and i understand it is a more cartunic graphic, but still looks good and i highly recommend to you all!
A great well thought out upload mixing older and latest releases, well done.
Nice video man👍 recently searched for vr top graphics but could only find old lists.
Thanks for making a up to date top graphics list

Elite Dangerous needs to be on this list.
Medal of Honor has great graphics and amazing gameplay. Most criminally underrated VR game
Definitely! Probably my second favorite VR game!
I agree it's underrated in its current form. A poor performing launch didn't do it any favours for many players. Except for the terrible NPC freaky eyes, and the awful water scenes. Those two things are a huge let down.
You missed cyubeVR. Its stunning lighting, landscapes, view distance is HUGE..... A hugely impressive feat of VR software engineering.
Notice how most of these are old games from like 2017/2018. RIP VR
9:36 This made StarFox64 VR pop into my head. Yeah it would be kind of weird in the narrow stages, but some sort of StarFox game like this in VR would be cool.
I have played the vanishing of Ethan Carter non vr and it's by far the most realistic looking game I've played in a while
The Gallery - Call of the Starseed was the first game to really wow me in VR with its graphics

I enjoyed most of these years ago
Great list Virtual Insider. Thanks.
awesome video ! can't wait for the modded skyrim video as well.
Amazing work as usual my friend
Ive been eagerly awaiting unreal engine 5 games in vr
saints and sinners may not be realistic but its visuals are amazing with an amazing art direction
It's nice of you to release the video AFTER the Steam Spring Sale ended.
X-plane 11 and 12 have extremely great VR support.
What about IL2 Battle of Stalingrad/Normandy? A very good WW2 flight sim
Nice list. Gave me some ideas what to put on my wishlist and to wait for a discount alarm in my mail. 😉
The Talos Principle VR (2017) is another great photo realistic VR game.
Great vid! Wishlisted a ton of these!
that deez nuts joke was out of pocket 😂
NMS in VR is amazing!

I found that I got incredible clarity in Skyrim VR by using the Sharper Eye mod and Vivid Weather's. (filmic mode)
no itro, just straight to it. you get a like for that alone lol
Can't believe Puzzling Places was left out of this list.
It's sad half these games were early vr games, you'd think graphics and games would generally get bigger and better over time!
The wanderer is superb too.
my computers heating up just watching this video
Both warthunder and elite dangerous look great in VR, only downside is that neither of them have motion controls.

When talking about the Arkham VR character archive, you should have said "This includes Harley Quinn."
Very true
it looks above everythng we have on pc... :D
yep, for sure
Then try Sol on Asetto Corsa my friend
5/5 like always!
You missed one of the most gorgeous looking VR games I've experienced and it easily beats 2/3 of your list in terms of visuals: Hellsplit Arena
You haven't played re8 vr unless you've played it on psvr2, the haptics make it
Try Hellsplit: Arena. It's stunning and runs well.
Bonelab had some stunning graphical upgrades.
