I would prefer if the video pointed out the weaknesses and strenghts of each game (in terms of VR, if it's run in weak PCs, etc). The way it did, it sounds more like an advertising for each game.
@@jaredoldhouser3301 GT7 on the PSVR2 is universally regarded as some of the best VR has to offer. I've played hundreds of hours and I would agree. Works perfectly every time, and there are always a million people playing online daily races.
I have Dirt Rally, GT Sport/7 and Driveclub for PSVR 1 and 2. I don't know if there are more racing games for vr on console, but more than only GT atleast. Although it's in a bit of a different genre, Wipeout is really good in VR also.

I have GT7 and PSVR2 and I love it but I keep looking at Assetto Corsa Compitizione and wishing I could play this in VR. I stopped playing it on console because GT7 VR is better than ACC on flatscreen but I’d prefer ACC if I could play it in VR. The sound of those GT3 cars are phenomenal
Don't worry, you don't miss much... ACC in VR is very, very badly optimized ! I have all the games on this list (except F1), but since I play in VR, I uninstalled ACC. And I have a pretty good PC btw !

Not missing much. ACC in VR sucks. I´ve got a 4090, 32gb i711700k and it lags as hell. Not to mention the oversaturated colors. The best ones are AMS2, Project cars 2 and Assetto Corsa. It woul be a Perfect Sim having the graphics of AMS2 and the physics from Assetto Corsa. So, you have to choose, physics=assetto. Amazing graphics=AMS2/PC2. Raceroom is also another disappointment, not very optimised for VR either. I´ve been thinking of buying a PS5 and a psvr only because of GT, but PS5 doesn´t support my wheel, so I´d have to buy another one, so, nope.

Quite old, but still quite good - LFS. With best ever mirrors where you can see in true 3D our head in helmet - in other games mirrors are terrible, because engine do not use two eyes rendering for mirrors.

Everytime I want to play AC in Vr its a mess.… I expend a lot of time configuring almost everything: oculus dev at 0.8 per eye, SS 1.3, config SOL correctly( got settings by another user for an 3080) playing with cable usbc3.0, trying to config nvidia config panel and… 45fps!! And other users can playing at 90fps at 1.4SS with rain.

Just the headset. The quest 3 is really good but for wireless with low lag you'd need a wifi6e router or you could go wired. The iniu 16ft cable with the power box is good for that. The index and the bigscreen beyond are good wired options but far more complicated (need base stations)
you need a 13k expensive hexapod, avoid NLR... a force feedback wheel engine 2 wheels (Formula & Rally) 3 pedals Sequential and H-shifter, Handbrake 3 Monitors (120-144Hz ) bass shakers to make it all vibrate, a powerful CPU, best graphic card. each piece costing around 800€, Final price including the headset : 22k 😂

The car slides more, add difficulty in handle the car, you have to stay more focused on what you do, what is surrounding you because the rain affects a bit your vision. Overall its more challenging i think... I don't know how old are you or if you drive in real life but you can't speed when its raining (you can't speed at all or at least you shouldn't by laws but who cares 😂) but as a normal person, we dont risk our lives driving fast with heavy rain in real life because there is no checkpoints or reset track button 😂...so doing something what you can't do in real life because our fear of death, in a game like this is something we look for. No risk of losing my life and we get a little satisfied with the emotion and experience... I think is that why we like to drive in heavy rain. (Btw im not English, i did my best. Pls don't judge if my writing is wrong...)
Not really. The game has had VR support for Oculus from very early versions and then Steam VR support was added as well. Mods can make performance better and improve stuff like making your mirrors stereoscopic, but you don't need mods to run it in VR

you forget to mention that PC2 servers are down, no online racing anymore, no ghost racing against other players performance, no sharing of setups. They literally killed their own game.
While iRacing FFB is immersive the graphics are terrible and take away from the realism. After all we have 5 senses and iRacing is only using one of them. AC has both a realistic feel and look so feels far more immersive IMO.

I played all the games in vr that you mentioned, and acc is not only the worst of all in terms of vr, is the worst racing game in vr in the market. Horrible optimized. Asetto corsa came out 5 years earlyer and is 100 times better in vr. A, and if you wanna play f1 in vr, doit in Ams2, not in the shitty ea/codemasters f1

@@nobodyimportant7380 mostly it fails when people download unrealistic mod car\packs. yes this is sad that it exists, tho those mods are only way for logitech or controller players to have fun. but when you drive realistic car on a realistic map - its closest you can get to irl physics. ffb, tire grip, car behavior, visuals, etc. everything is better than any other game. yes some aspects like tire grip (on track and on a few cars) can be better in games like iracing, visuals can be better in some other modern games. but overall ac is so much superior to anything, especially in vr with its stability. ams2 is good for vr yes, but it looks plasticky and feels arcadish. also gravel and dirt grip is bad in ac. for realistic rallying - theres only RBR currently

Project Cars has by far the better tracks, the better cars, the better differentiation in handling setups, but their servers are down...
I loved assetto but it stopped working for me after I uninstalled and reinstalled , tried everything can't find a fix.
VR sim racing will only get better... Most of these games are good in their own way i love Dirt 2.0 and ACC.... But theyre all good...... Im running Max settings on them all now so..... 🍇
