For real that movie was very close to what I would expect as an MK1 live action , I hated how they made Shao Kahn looked at the end thou . Even thou MK2 was crapp I liked the storyline where Shinnok sided with Shao and the elder gods had to interverne in a family dispute . I think they should stick to the idea that Shao and Raiden are brothers the same as what MK konquest related . And Raiden felt that he couldn't kill his brother .
And you’re getting a lot of stuff wrong dude. Liu gets killed. They have revenants, so I doubt Shang will morph. This is coming from early screenings of the film.
Even though he has a lot wrong I have good news for you because I was pissed when I read he got brutally killed as well, but of course the hate they got from it made them change the decision as I've heard a report about Lui Kang surviving the attack unto even better news of them doing reshoots with Lui Kang 😊
So they had a re-shoot? The last time I heard Liu Kang was not mostly in the movie and eventually died in the sequel. Their focus is on Karl Urban's character, Johnny Cage. I guess they heard the fans backlash when they read the leaked early review 😂
MK 2 will probably see Shang as the final boss in the tournament. VS Liu , MK 3 will be based on Khan invading Earth, and MK 4 will definitely be Shinock and Quan Chi the final bosses. So if they do this properly, we can have plenty MK ahead up into 2030 and beyond with the DK Onaga etc, there's plenty to explore and make it successful.
No Quan Chi will be the main villain, Shinnok will be the main villian in the 3rd film. You probably find Shinnok is the brains behind the war between Earthrealm and Outworld.
I was not a fan of Cole young there’s just too many characters in this franchise that could make for a great protagonist so introducing a non existent character was a very bad decision. The movie was ultimately good though I thought sub zero was way more intimidating than any other time personally
Nah, as bad as a lot of part 1 was, you can’t deny all of the subzero scenes and various fatalities the characters suffered were absolutely sick and with a level of gore/GGI I didn’t think they would be bold enough to push for in live action (I guess the “kids” of the 90s are now middle aged and want an R rated version with the same nostalgia factor and way more over-the-top violence like the games feature)
The way Hollywood is now I’d bet kronika is the secret villain 😂. I will be bootlegging this depending on the reviews. The first one sucked but Kano made it worth watching
The movie was bad and Cole was shit unlikeable character... The main character should be Liu or Johnny but no Hollywood brought someone who isn't even from game. Wtf

Ludi Lin plays Liu Kang, not Jax
Cole needs to get gone asap

Leave Cole out.
We need a Cole Young/Goro rematch… Cole got Goro messed up 😡

How about we get justice for Goro? They always do him dirty 😂
The dude playing Jax is named Mechad. Ps. Jax dies supposedly. Just like Cole. And Liu. Hahaha.

We need a whole Re-boot of MK already, dont need part 2. We need a MK that fellow the game play.

There wasn't even MK tournament at first place in that trash movie... Bruh

If they did a fourth film she will be. No Shinnok is going to be the big bad with Quan Chi helping him.
