Men who don't have options don't get to find out what kind of women would be best for them because they can't get enough at bats. You keep lowering your standards to find out where they will let you into the game, until you realize the level you're allowed to play doesn't make your life better, it makes your life worse. The women aren't that attractive, or they have mental health issues that just makes them not good companions. Some guys are so desperate they accept the abuse and lower standards, other guys reach the decision that the level they're allowed into the game makes it not worth being involved.
If you want a higher standard of partner you should work to be a better person.

It is absurd how far out of his depth WW felt in this conversation. He could provide no pushback for any point raised by anyone, could seemingly apply no stat to backup any of the things he parrots. Why is this dude even here? Can we get literally anyone else in on this conversation in the manosphere?
The funny thing is if you watch his early debates he was very aggressive with pushing points using statistics and hard hitting examples and he was almost universally citizen for his "low emotional intelligence" and inability to see others prospective.
Now that his not aggressive and takes a much lower and methodical approach slowly poking and produng at people's ideas looking fir where he can find common ground and where he can subtly change minds his "soft".

Poor showing from Wheat Waffles. Destiny did a good job in this debate, for a woman.
WW content is about how to get into relationships and concentrating on looks department. Meanwhile the main topics of this video were about internal relationships dynamics, what are premises and results of broken relationships and etc. It's not his area of expertise
Yes, the only time I've seen so far that he didn't completely dominate a debate. Too bad, because many of you guys jump to your final conclusions about people after just watching one video with them in it. He's packed with loads of irrefutable data. To the point he was even able to write an entire book on everything he discovered.
It is apparent that no one in this conversation has been divorced in California. Even if both parties are on the same page about an equitable distribution and separation, you have to find and pay for a great and expensive lawyer to just push back on the State. Please note, on the whole, I like California, not just hating here.
Just for feedback, I did not enjoy either part of the conversation. I am not sure what the objective was, what message or knowledge was trying to be shared. These were too long for just entertainment value and not why I follow this channel. I did not comment on the first part specifically because of this.
Things were definitely better when Emily or Todd weighed in to shape the conversation more. Especially when getting at more open ended questions that are not directing a conclusion.
It was not until the last few seconds that I understood what was going on and why things were so weird. My recommendation is in post, edit in a little intro setting the stage for your followers. At least in my case, it would have assuaged a lot of confusion and frustration, and it would not hurt anyone else.
And the thing about Des said to F&F about the single mothers who get alimony, they have responsibilities which they will try to make yours and they are usually emotionally f'ed up two of the many reasons to almost never date them, come on Des it's not 5D chess.
Wheat waffles seemed scared to actually take a position firmly and defend it. Instead he hid behind “this is what people in the manosphere are saying, I’m not saying I agree or disagree”. In that sense it didn’t seem like much of a debate.

12:00 destiny completely mis-represents financial settlements on divorce. It is not that single moms suddenly become rich on divorce. It is that the wife/mother gets a disproportionate amount of the marital pot. For example, in my UK divorce I lost 70% of my money, assets and home equity and this has ruined me financially. Divorce ruins men financially and makes many men contemplate deletion (RIP Robin Williams, Jason David Frank, Chris Christensen at Disneyland), whereas the female's financial situation remains broadly the same.
Yea I noticed that too. It's not that they get Lamborghinis and all that silliness he said. But, they can be financially comfortable without having to work all that hard... thanks to the money from the guy they divorced, most certainly when kids are involved
@@donaldjdemarco the problem with destiny is that he is all theory/books and doesn't understand the real world experience of an average man. once he gets zero'ed out in divorce (if he and melina have kids) then he will understand the pain. some guys need to actually go through the destruction of a messy divorce before they will truly understand how ruthless karen the divorce judge is.
Also, the disproportionate rate of women who file and also the weirdly high rates of "divorce regret" show most are not making sensible calculations based upon perfect knowledge.
I have had women in my extended family divorce but when you listen to what they expected to recieve it is bonkers. They do very well out of it but th8nk they have been short-changed. They get most of the assets but don't realise that most is still less than all. They don't get that the income spreads much more thinly across two households. They don't see the complexity of life that becomes more expensive post divorce.
Humans are not rational. Then add in that many have terrible understanding of reality and all his points are irellevant.
rule of thumb: Destiny will combat whatever complaint he hears from men with “well the women i know tell me this.”(while disregarding that the men he is speaking to are telling him their own first hand experience)
and if it’s a complaint from women, Destiny will likely agree, offer little to no push back or explain why he thinks it might have credence.
i also think it’s worth noting that what “women tell” Destiny seems to always align, as in he presents it as a consensus. that might have something to do with the type of women he has these discussions with.

He offers the perspective of women he's talked to to give more context to those issue that men face. That's good because learning about men's disadvantages while never hearing of womens' will cause you to resent them. He shits on women a lot too.

I think for the single mother and father debate it has to do with preselection. If a girl was willing to have a child with another dude and he knows how to care for them it is seen as attractive. A woman has already seen him as a good potential "mate" for her offspring and was willing to have kids by him. Doesn't really work the reverse as not a lot of guys want a girl who has been "ran through" and waste his time and resources on someone else's kids.
If society deemed the women to pay for another womens child they'd behave exactly like the redpillers.
Dating is mostly looks. This seems obviously true. So BP seems most accurate to me.
If you want a more depressing take on it though, consider this: sexual validation, friendship, touch, sex, intimacy, procreation etc are the most hardwired evolutionary psychological needs we have (procreation beats survival in Darwin terms). So failing to obtain these is obviously going to result in serious mental illness, and getting these or not is 90% predicated on looks which are basically genetic and luck based. Now, to make matters worse, if you haven't had these needs met by a certain age, say early 20s (think about prehistoric humans again) you are going to have developed chronic emotional loneliness, which as wiki notes is likely incurable, and which causes enormous physical damage (worse than smoking) as well mental.instability. Even if someone gets those needs met later then, the loneliness will remain and the damage will be permanent.
Basically, if you're young and ugly you're fucked for life. Seems true in my lived expereince.

The number of times Destiny and the hosts implicitly appealed to the idea that men and women must think the same was so disappointing. We know they don't, but we find it hard to know how strong g the differences are.
The "Well if men think so then women think so" lines of thinking were terrible. Often the reality is that there isn't enough infomation to work from, but they wanted conclusions based upon faulty assumptions.

Destiny completely misunderstands all the arguments around body count. Then he tries to use his idea of evolution asking a social structure of America in the 1950s. We spent millions of years living in small humter gatherer communities the mid 20th century American society had no evolutionary impact.
Men want women with a low body count, as one of a number of factors they are drawn too. Women want different factors, none of those factors are high body count. However, given the factors they do want and how rarely they cluster the men they want CAN sleep with a lot of women. Given the men who are active in the dating market, these men will then sleep with a lot of women. Women en have been willing to accept high bodycounts to get the factors that make that an option for the man.
The divorce rates is the same all over the western world, even in countries that has evolved beyond that weird alimony tradition that the US have. This just proves one thing to me: Being monogamous is not in our nature, and people who have the financial and attraction-means to choose otherwise will do so. Why would you stay in a "dead bedroom" relationship at 35 when humans live to be 80?
In a future where there are no laws/benefits connected to marriages, I predict that only 10% of the population will marry at all.

The longer it takes to raise an offspring to adulthood, the more biological incentive there is for males to stick around. Show me a single animal where it takes years to raise an offspring to adulthood where the male doesn’t stay. Even the gestational period of 9months is too long for human males to abandon their mate. The situation you’re speaking of doesn’t happen unless there are systems in place that either punish the man for staying around or incentivizes women to leave.

About 9 years ago I was in college and was talking to someone studying psychology and they told me something that I will never forget.
They said that they learned that women care more about if the man is emotionally into them while men care more about if the women is physically into them. He explained, women don't care as much if a man sleeps around, but is emotionally loyal to her and men don't care as much if a women is emotionally into another man as long as she doesn't physically cheat on him.
The biological reproductive explanation was that if a man is not emotionally invested in the women, he won't provide for her kids.
On the female side, if the women becomes pregnant with a kid from another man, the man will not like that she has to mother another mans kids, but also he can't impregnate her for at least 9 months because the women will be pregnant with another mans kid.
Therefore, women prioritize men caring for their kids and men prioritize that women conceive their kids.
Men have the ability to have lots of kids with multiple women in a short amount of time while women can only have one kid every 9 months. Most people would recommend that a mother should wait at least a year in between pregnancies to allow for her to recover and replenish the nutrients and energy that she used during pregnancy.
This is why traditionally women try to be more selective when choosing to carry a man's kid because they want to make sure he will stick around to provide for the kids and the mom.
This explains why women have seemed to stay in relationships with men who are high earners, and provide for their family, the men may sleep around with prostitutes, but as long as he comes home to pay the bills and raise the kids, she puts up with it. It shouldn't be put up with it, but she cares more about the her security and her kids security than her husbands fling that he has no emotional connection to.
I don't know if any of this is actually true because it may not be scientifically proven. Males and females have different biology that do equate to different ways of how are goals align with our actions. I guess time and research will shed more light on this theory.
And thats why most women can't leave the house without make up or a dress they wore more that twice.

Interesting discussion. I’ve watched a few of these types of discussions involving red or black pill. That said, how do “black pill” creators win a debate? Do they just show study after study to back up their view? I’m honestly still confused as to what the end game is for black pill .
The idea of black pill is to tell people that looks matter the most, and your genetics are determined if you'll succeed in the dating market.
While the people who are blue pill will debate against black pill like WW, will try to counter his points by saying that looks doesn't matter much and there are other factors that matters as well, such as personality, hygiene, etc. Basically, what you can change.
The goal of BP is for men to understand it is not their fault that they get rejected because they dont have the look, money, or status, or whatever she is looking for. Women can always want more so don't be surprise if she is not loyal. When a man understand that attraction is not a choice, and could be beyond his control, he should develop more realistic expectations and move along. Most of the time Single Mothers are struggling or don't make that much money for several reasons. Single Fathers, if found attractive, generally make good money so that's why it's so different and not that hard to understand. I am a single father I make good money and have no problem providing. This was a VERY strange debate, it wasn't even structured like a normal debate. Typically the moderators, being Emily and Todd in this case, usually NEVER offer their opinion on the topic and stay unbiased, they are only there to do one thing. Moderate if stuff gets chaotic, that's it. Here, it was more or less Destiny having a convo with Emily & Todd about divorce, WW didn't even really speak but 5% of the time and when he did there were no points he refuted.
