Very interesting stuff. All good information but we should be also talking about the actual root cause of this and not stick around the surface. I’ve approached my “condition” with scientific methods for 15 years, the only length I haven’t gone is setting up a lab at home to test everything. When we say processed food, we often think of junk food and move on, but we should pause and talk about the processing of the very meats we’re being told are healthy to eat, the veggies, the fruits. EVERYTHING undergoes certain USDA or FSIS or other 3 letter org process requirements where they introduce lab made acids like citric acid, lactic acid, etc. that are made of black mold and other compounds. I eat exceptionally clean, yet I still can’t catch a break. They don’t even require labeling them on the ingredient list (happy to share info on that). What I’ve realized is that my autoimmune flares when I consume these. It is extremely difficult to stay away from them unless you grow your own food. Instead of fine tuning the diet to a miserable experience, we should be fighting to take back our food control rights and kill these organizations that ruin our food and cause so much harm. These organizations poison our food then call us disordered. I don’t have a “disorder” when I travel to a 3rd world country where they haven’t managed to ruin the food yet. It’s like filling your gas tank with water then wonder why the engine isn’t running. Time to burn it all down!
@@mysticm1543 I recently went to Armenia for 2 months and ate local foods, including from restaurants. I avoided sauces and packaged stuff. Although I did eat some canned stuff that were labeled properly. There they require the label to have the commercial chemical code (E220, E500, etc.) and not just vague names that could be mistaken for organic citric acid let's say. I have celiac disease here in US, which is miserable and feels like I can't eat anything. Over there I ate everything, and right before coming back I collected some courage and got some wheat from a local farm, milled it and made bread. While my bread making wasn't great, my digestion was perfectly fine. If the flour here even touches my food I have weeks long issues until my body figures out how to deal with this poison that I introduced to it.

Dr. Berg, this is an awesome interview but she never shared the foods that need to be taken out of the diet to avoid inflammation. You asked the question but then the conversation took a different path
You cut out plants.Very little plant material is incorporated in this diet 100 g of protein like pork plus 35 g fat like tallow. Also organ meat like liver…
I did the carnivor diet and my diabetes got alot worse my blood sugars doubled. Because my blood sugars have been do high for so long I am going blind. My leaky gut has gotten alot worse and I'm in alot of pain. All my associated diabetes issues got worse. I keeped being told that it was impossible for protein to turn to sugar but I knew it was through testing my blood. I got told to keep eating 2-3 lbs of meat a day with 250 g butter. I would get better I just needed to give it chance. I got blocked from so many carnivore groups because I wasn't healing and I was asking questions why. Now I've cut my protein down and my blood sugars are dropping. If your not a diabetic yes you probably can get away with it but I personally couldn't. I've also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia because of stress and trauma on my body. Thanx for this great info.
I was looking through my seed and garden catalog for future planting, while listening to this wonderful presentation, when the thought occurred to me; Can you do a video on what we “can” grow and eat... like rutabagas and turnips. Are there melons and squash or pumpkins that would fit a KETO style diet?
I have to say here in the UK we eat fat, obviously we don't eat huge amounts but it is a large part of our diet. I have epilepsy, it was at its worst in my teens when I used to be worried about weight etc but as I stopped worrying about it and ate a more rounded diet including fats it became more stable. I know in diet one size doesn't fit all but I have reached the point where I now believe quality of life is more important than quantity.
Insightful...thankyou. Once I stopped protein powders and increased fats ... insulin leveled and fat loss ensued. When cooking bacon....I have it non crispy. When Mother was trying to drop post pregnancy weight.....she asked her Dr. who advised her to have bacon and eggs every morning. This was in the 1950s.

Dr. Berg, thank you for going the extra mile to get this interview.
My pleasure
Wow. this has been an eye opening interview! This is changing how I look at so many things in nutrition and medicine.
I like these interviews, I am always learning and improving my health thanks to your channel, thank you Dr. Berg
This video was foundational in my celiac disease recovery. I learned more about how to speed up healing of my gut than anything my GI specialist advised me since July 2022. This is great advice, so long as you are healthy enough to go on this type of a diet. I followed her advice and AFTER 2 months I was able to introduce more vegetables, such as the nightshae family, and no longer have referred pain in my abdomen.
check if you want my video about auto immune the real cause is not leeky gut and they are reversable in 3 months
....running at .9 playback speed along w the CC . Very easy to follow. shalom,a.j.

Brilliant interview! So informative, So good to know that there is such a place that treats these conditions ❤
Out standing information! Please feel free to make further videos with this doctor.
Dr.Berg many many many thanks for this video. I got many answers, hints and clues. I got emotional and went from excitement and cry, to screams in my head. Wonderful informative intellectual interview.
Here I go down the rabbit hole with Dr Berg again. It's a medical education and the price is right. I can't help but feel like I should be downloading everything on this channel just in case "they" decide it's misinformation.
Thank you dr. Berg and dr. Zsofia. God blass you for halping people and sharing this 😇🤩🤩
I. grow Up In Hungary and my mom cooked with pork fat ! Also we are liver and blood sausages . I’m going back to this !thank you so much for this information !🙏
This interview is loaded with very important information. Thank you for talking with a neurobiologist and sharing the recording with everyone. I have heard bad things about the nightshade family of vegetables before. I will not be having any again. Now to research lectins so I don't eat them again. Good food equals better health. I must do better.
Theres a big difference to what a person blood type is, Like O+ should not take St. Johns wort. O negs can handle different toxins. My dad and 2 brothers are Negs so I know it makes a big difference. What's good for the goose is Not good for all ganders.
Oh damb, I'd heard using a presure cooker stoped lectins from causing problems, I realy hope that's right has anyone ,any idea if that's right,
@@lynlawley8903 yeah that’s right check out dr gundry
The night shade veggies are not used to make Seed oils but do have lectins. Was an evasive answer because she is being careful in not calling out big agriculture GMO&Glyphosfate usage in Corn, Soy Canoa, ect seed oils. Bell pep Nightshade OIL ???🧐
This Is a rough road to travel for so many of us💝😘
I listened to an interview Dr Jordan Peterson did with Joe Rogan discussing him going carnivore and the health benefits he and his daughter got were amazing including removing depression.
Dr Eric Berg very knowledgeable lady it was nice to listen to your conversation and learn something new, waiting for more !! and by the way shes very good looking Hungarian doctor !!!!!!!
Super good as always! Many thanks for the great interview Dr Berg! Thank you for sharing the knowledge for this fantastic Hungarian researcher! She is my new favourite and I do hope I will be a able to see more interviews with her! We really have to start curing the body with our diet. I can resonate with it so much! 🙏🙏🙏
He’s actually testing her openness that’s why he has 5 million subs thanks doc
Fantastic interview! Thank you Dr. Berg for bringing on Dr. Clemens. She's super!
Hi Dr Berg, Thankyou for educating us! For years I've suffered with various autoimmunity symptoms, and both specialist's & my own long standing Dr, who I respect and trust, never enquire as to what my diet is??
Western medicine treats symptoms with prescription Chemicals, when scientific logic surely points to treating the cause of the symptom.
I have a background in the medical arena, and have had to educate myself to heal myself. Finding you only recently, is wonderfully informative. You've inspired me to learn more re: the science of nutrition and impacts on individual health.
So very grateful to you!
Thank you Dr. Clemens for another outstanding podcast.
We need an app/algorithm that can come up with a nutrional plan for people with comorbidities.
I kept expecting her to bring up glyphosate as a cause of intestinal permeability.
I have heard scientists speak of this problem.
@Tony L
Most of Europe doesn’t use glyphosate
It's use in Europe even if banned...

Simply Put, No Need To Further Complicate things, by doing all these extras👍😊Thanks for Sharing👍😊
Thats what I needed to know.
I had non hodgkins and treatments.
I can't eat; garlic, tomatos, potatos, radishes, onions, peppers, spices, grains, milk products, and fruit juices.
I know I have cancer again; thyroid, and possibly elsewhere.
I hardly get to eat what I want but I know I can eat meat and I love coconut.
So I've been taking bovine organ complex capsules for months.

I truly agree with this person. Thank you! For me I love magnesium, Vit D, n B-Complex taken together that work synergistic. I no longer have restless leg syndrome or seizures. Not even pain.
I have eliminated anti-Inflammatory foods, i.e. tomatoes, potatoes, just night shade plants, pasta etc...however once in a blue moon I cheat n have a baked potatoe...n love rice. Thank you doctors for all your help throughout your years.
A highly intelligent physician!
Dr. Berg, it is respectful to look at the person to whom you are speaking and to use correct terms of speech with them.
Explain this or that is not correct or How can people get hold of you? is not correct!
If you would/could explain this or that or How can people contact you? How can people get in touch with you? would be appreciated.
Please remember it with your next guests, particularly, guests as intelligent as this physician.
I developed major hives and while trying to find out why I found out I had some heavy metals and had developed 12 food allergies to things that I was eating all my life. I believed I had leaky gut and did homemade bone both and only Whole Foods and hives went away.
That sounds like a histamine issue. Hives can be triggered by histamines in foods.
I went through a year of random, very severe hives under scalp and face shortly after learning to fast. I think it was crazy bad leaky gut candida. This all started for me after surviving necrotizing fasciitis(tons of bad antibiotics, cipro, levaquin?)

...oh wow; lots of invaluable information in this video; would like to see more like this.
Very glad to be of help.
Yes, please; I agree wholeheartedly. And Dr. Clemens' repeated advice that most often "it is not necessary to complicate things" really struck a chord in me-I will endeavor to do so.
Interesting interview. I really liked the focus on how a diet for different conditions really depends on the person's health issues. In reality we are all different and need different macronutrients to be healthy. Than you Dr. Berg for always educating us and providing us with valuable information. I'm doing a Dr. Berg youtube marathon LOL
I don't know what interview you listened to, but that is the opposite of what Dr. Clemens said.
Dr. Berg could you please summarize the major issues and highlights of Dr. Clemens remarks. It would be so helpful. Dr. Clemens
was a little difficult to follow because of her wealth of knowledge .
Thank you.
I turned on the closed captions which help me with some words.
I will check with Dr. Berg about this!
I was thinking the same thing. Especially the ratio's of fat to lean meat.
100 grams of meat and 35 grams of fat
I actually thought Dr. Berg made these replies
Dr.Valwey Mamonov, author of many health related books introduced this video link. Its an eye opening knowledge for mel to know the importance of Carnivore diet with added fat. Thank you. ❤
Wow!! So generous of you both to give us this information 👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for having an open mind, this information is gold.
Thank you both doctors, That was very helpful to me!
congratulations!
Glad to know you found this video helpful!
Fascinating!! I had salmonella poisoning a few yrs ago resulting in AD. My stomach has been improving but not the same. That Peg400 test could be so helpful. Thank you both for these new insights!
Thanks it was amazing!
Dr. Berg you are the best in looking up the truth about what the human needs to have a healthy life style!
Very interesting. A big aha moment was clarifying the need for fat vs protein if ketosis is the goal. Had no idea protein gets converted.
OMAD -Keto/ carnivore since day one of my T1 Diabetes diagnosis 3 years and two months ago. Still neither medication nor insuline shots needed. Hba1c around 5 all the time, no spikes during the days .Right now I´m even able to consume 40 grams of sugar ( in keto chokolade) and get under 100 mg/dl BG again after 6 - 8 hrs. It`s gotten better !
May I ask exactly what you’re eating? I would love more details, and thank you for sharing your success!
@@eugeniebreida1583 I eat meat, mainly pork, sausages, cheese, butter, eggs, plus seasonal some vegetables that soak a good amount of butter, zucchinis and butter pumpkins. Usually around 11 am. If I eat less than 2500 cal, my weight drops. So in average my OMAD is around 3500 cal, to maintain around 75 kg bodyweight. But I did all of this from day one of my diagnosis, so I have some insuline production left. I hope to maintain this "honeymoon phase" as long as possible. The other diabetics in the community, especially those long termed, have to eat in a much more strict regime( like that of the Lady above) and still have to use a little bit of insuline. All of them told, that it is a little tricky to lower the dosage when starting this WOE. But I do A LOT of calisthenics ,too. And I walk my dog Resi Rhodesi 2 + hrs. every day. That may be helpfull, too. I`m never measuring the amount of food I`m eating. No mikros, no makros. But I keep a close look on my BG. Hope, that helped.
Dr berg loves it when he gets a guest talking up high fats and protein
🤣
It's good to know that intestinal permeability can be reversed or at least fixed with a strict diet.
what are the particular food examples???
can you give examples related to chicken, goat and fish only??? in India we don't eat beef, pork etc

Excellent interview Dr Berg. I’m going to take this additional information and apply it to my healthy keto and IMF routine in the hope it helps with my vitiligo 🙏
So glad you found the information helpful!
Thank you both. And Dr. Berg thanks again for preparing this conversation, that was really helpful.
The best 2 doctors I have ever seen in u tube
Do you know your blood type?
I tottally believe what she said i think we need someone like her i Us
I was looking through my seed and garden catalog for future planting, while listening to this wonderful presentation, when the thought occurred to me; Can you do a video on what we “can” grow and eat... like rutabagas and turnips. Are there melons and squash or pumpkins that would fit a KETO style diet?
I love her certainty level.
she is on the forefront of amazing science, imagine a whole society that doesn't age and stays healthy
