    Her work needs to be adopted by the world. But at least the few here in the know, can be blessed to have this knowledge. You are a treasure Dr Clemens.

      I would guess a lack of research on this subject as far as I know it's fairly new and doesn't have enough data to fully support it.
      Don't get me wrong, I 100% believe in this. I have Hashimotos and I felt completely hopeless for years, until I eliminated gluten/dairy/soy from my diet. I will give carnivore and PKD a shot as well

    I watched many videos by Zsofia over the years. Adopting the CV diet healed my gut. About 10 years a go I ate ice cream that contained PEG and felt terrible for two days. I wonder if they see this happening in the clinic when testing the intestinal permeability? It probably means I had leaky gut at that time.

    Type 1 LADA here ! I`m doing Keto,more or less the "relaxed" version of the "PKD" , since day one of my diagnosis in August `18. I was strict carnivore for a while, but we have a big garden and meat is expensive. Up to now I don`t need Insulin or other medications while maintaining a STEADY ( no "rollercoasters") A1c around 5,x. Miss Clemens approach is very harsh and strict and may work even better than mine, but it works, too, haha.I even drink coffee. When, in a near future, our great leaders finally achieved their goal of banning meat completely for the plebs, I have to rely on olive oil and luck anyway .

    Has anybody tried the pkd diet for autoimmune disease and successfully cured it?

    • @M4MLiving
      @M4MLiving 8 місяців тому +1

      i have tried pkd and it helped improve my IBD greatly my fault is not sticking as strict as i should yet but even loosely following ive seen tremendous improvement

    • @mwareviews
      @mwareviews 8 місяців тому +2

      @@M4MLiving Thats really good to hear. Try colostrum powder aswell. You will get some improvement from it, but PKD (although very difficult to stick with) supposed to heal intestinal permeability 100%. One month should do the trick. It's worth it in the long term. Just stick to it for one month straight.

      Yes, I completely cured pcos, insulin resistance and full blown autoimmune disease. But it means strict red meat, animal fat “no dairy”, organs, water and salt. I’m almost 8yrs on the diet and I will eat this way for the rest of my life.

    Please let me know how many grams of beef liver can I eat daily on PKD?
    Also do I need to eat calcium from egg shells on this diet, or is bone broth enough for calcium?

      450g of meal per day. 400 g of liver per week , 200g of brain. Meat of four legged animals. The bigger animal the better.

    How to cook meat without adding any plant-derived ingredients?

    • @ketolomics
      @ketolomics Рік тому +6

      @gregcheng2369 One key is to start with fatty cuts of meat. Many butchers these days trim away as much fat as they can because that's what most people have been encouraged to buy (the "less fat = more healthy" myth). You can ask your butcher to leave the fat on, and they will be happy to. Fatty meat is super tasty compared to lean meat. One method is simply to cut into chunks and simmer meat until tender in a large pot. Serve and salt to taste. Another method is to cut meat into medallions and sauté in a large fry pan, either with lard or tallow or butter (some people are sensitive to butter, so use your own judgement). Eating a large plate of meat seems unusual at first, but it is so good that it becomes very attractive very quickly. If you enjoy a mix of flavours, try cooking several types of meat together (lamb, beef, pork) or mixing with seafood (fish, shellfish). Good luck on your health journey!

    @shellderp Рік тому

    why are we not funding RCTs..

    • @kenpumford754
      @kenpumford754 Рік тому +1

      It’s tough to get funding for RCTs when there isn’t drug money involved. Basically you have to find an academic who has an interest and is high enough in their department to get the funding. A lot of the prestigious medical schools receive funding from drug companies, so, even if the younger academics want to conduct RCTs, if it runs counter to drug company interests the senior doctors will squelch this line of investigation.
