    I mixed up on the dimensions, so my drawstring bag's kinda fat, but I think mine would make a nice coin bag! :D Thanks for the tutorial!

    Great tutorial - the end, inserting the ribbons, was a little vague and quick to tell exactly what was going on, but from the way the end product looks it seems straight forward.

    My grandson needs small bags for his 4 different saxophone mouthpiece ligatures so they don't get damaged from just tossing them in his sax case. I can make 4 different colors so he can just grab the right color for whichever ligature he needs at that time. These will be perfect made from flannel or fleece.

    • @DamselsinDIY
      @DamselsinDIY  6 років тому

      I was just thinking the same thing, a polar fleece would help keep them protected pretty nicely! That's a great idea!

  • @missusingle

    It literally hurt me to see them cut that out *from the center* of the material. Wasteful! Also if you don’t reverse at beginning and end of your sewing it will unravel. Good tutorial tho!

    is it Alis or Elise, cant really hear it too well when she says her name, But I like her voice, it would be perfect those kindle books.

      @DamselsinDIY  7 років тому

      Pronounced more like Alis, the spelling for her name is Alysse. She has an awesome voice! She is an actress so I hope she gets some of those gigs someday! I am so glad she can do the instructional reads for the channel, I would die if I had to do them! lol -Harmony

    Can this be done with a straight stitch along all the edges as well? Or does it have to be the zigzag?

    I was looking for a very small drawstring bag tutorial and found your video. The information given is very helpful, but what's the RUSH in providing instructions? Thankfully, You Tube allows stop and start! Consider slowing down everything please!

  • @susancox9877
    @susancox9877 4 роки тому

    I am very confused about how the ribbons get tied. Are you pulling each ribbon through both sides? One ribbon on one side and one ribbon on the other side? If you are doing that, then where are you tying the knots? I did great making the bag, but finishing it up is proving to be a challenge. Please provide slower instructions at that point! Thanks.
