      I’ve been using and installing them for years, no problems here and they stand by their product. And they still say MADE IS U.S.A.

    My 06 F350 had a front blow out, less damage as this, and insurance wanted to total it and send it to auction. I've got more $$ in the engine than the truck is worth. It was a fight but I got them to drop the claim and paid out of pocket. The bill is much less going that way. And I'm not stuck with a "Salvage" title. The blown tire took out wiring harness ECM/TCM and fuse box of course fender & inner fender. No steering damage and front bumper is good.

      They wanted to total his truck to, I helped him fight it cause my 99 f350 with only 124k they totaled also and started at $11800 for the truck. Told them there was no way I could replace that truck for that and they came back with $16800 which still wasn’t great but I took it.

    Great content. Thank you.
    I’ve never put leveling kit on any of my vehicles. I’ve always assumed they wouldn’t drive as well, but I don’t know if that’s the case or not if anybody has an opinion about it.

    That axle snap ring is the worst part of the whole job imho! Battled both sides on my 06 F250 for a whole afternoon under the sun and was +46c with humidity..........was absolutely BRUTAL lol 😵

      Right pair of snap rings cures the problem

    Man, when you’re able you’ve got to get the Snap-On BJP1 ball joint press and also the Snap-On branded or Schley heavy duty pitman arm puller. You’ll make your life so much easier with those jobs.

      It looks nice but not $700 nice. The $100 oem tools one has served me well for years. Has yet to let me down. Now the pitman arm puller sounds nice I destroyed my last pitman arm puller and just started using the press instead.

      I bought it for my 2 trucks I found a nice used one on eBay for 550. I didn't want to take the chance on cheaper ones.

      He was on a budget and fighting with his insurance to get what we got done paid for by them. He’s a regular customer and I’m sure we’ll have his truck back on the channel in the future.

    Awesome stuff Drew, I didn't know about the updated inner seal, I used the old rubber dust seal that attaches directly to the axel, would that updated seal work on my 2000 f350 7.3 or was it made for the 6.0? Anywho, always love the content you post brother! Take Care and God Bless. Jay. 👍👍

      I hate yet to install a updated seal on our type but it’s the same axle so it should work

      @@AutomedicGarage Thanks buddy, what has taken you a couple hours to do it has taken me now, today will be my 3rd week, lol. A couple hours here and there, lol. It's heck gettin old and half disabled but with your help(knowledge)and my patience I manage. I'm gonna tackle the steering linkage tomorrow🤞I guess with measuring threads I can get it close enough for an alignment with one of those $40k machines lol.
      And you're right, ALL American made Moog parts, nothing else! Thanks for the reply my friend. Jay.

    If theres a play in the steering wheel is that vecause of the steering gear box or are there other factors?

    • @AutomedicGarage
      @AutomedicGarage  11 місяців тому

      There wasn’t play it was locked up and wouldn’t do anything from the wreck.

      @AutomedicGarage I was saying as if there was. My truck has it and wondering how would I solve that problem.

    • @AutomedicGarage
      @AutomedicGarage  11 місяців тому +1

      @@moiseis1703 get someone in the truck and have them wiggle the steering wheel left to right over and over meanwhile get under the front of the truck and look and touch every single pivot point on the front suspension and look and feel for anything sloppy or loose. More often times than not it’s not the boxes fault and it’s a combination of ball joints, tie rods, drag link and track bar. Give it a good look over.
