@@Mozart1220 For telling her that they had a dash cam. Let her make a false report to the police and let it go to court where she commits perjury. Talk to the cops and don’t talk to anybody else
Pretty obvious what happened here - this poor woman was sitting at the light, minding her own business, and then you came up from behind, and drove around in front of her, and backed up into her, and cast a magic spell over her to make her apologize for something she surely didn't do, and then edited your dashcam video real quick before the police got there to make it look like you were the innocent party and *she* hit *you*. Simple, really. ;-)
When I was 18, I was driving through a parking lot and this old man pulled out into the side of my car. The back drivers side bumper hit and dented in the front corner of my passenger side door. So the guy gets out and is all apologetic and tells me to pull into a space so we can call someone. This was 1998 and neither of us had cell phones. I didn’t know any better, so I did move my car, but I had to pull a few spaces away since the one next to him on the drivers side was the handicap ramp space. Then we walk into the pharmacy he had just come out of and he loudly announces to the whole place, “this girl just hit me in the parking lot!” So he calls the cops and tells them the same. So then I call my father and loudly tell him this old man hit me and called the cops and lied. By the time my father got there the cops had come, looked at the angle of the damage, listened to both our stories, and told the old man his just wasn’t possible. He got a ticket. It was still scary to think this man would just bald face lie like that. If the damage was to my front bumper they might have believed him.
A lot of old people do this. It's why I don't automatically grovel before the elderly. They command respect like they have some authority, but can't take responsibility for a damn thing.
You’re lucky as fuck the cop did something cause a dumb fucking bitch reversed in my car (i wasnt even driving, she drove straight into my car) and all the cop could say was « if you dont have a camera to prove it was her fault, i cant do anything because accidents that happen in parkings are considered 50/50 unless proven » so
Lauralie That sucks. Maybe because mine was so long ago, and I don’t think dash cams were much of a thing back then for people besides the cops themselves.
The correct procedure in such cases is *never* admit you have a dashcam until after the other party has committed their version to paper as well as signing and dating it. Then you have them for perjury as well as any driving offences that they have committed. They'll be lucky to keep their licence after that and any future insurance premiums could become unaffordable. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.
Well since they had video record of her lying the written dated testimony is not necessary because there is a audio video record that will have a time and date stamp on it
z z Sure is easy to spot people like you who always got a trophy. People who will lie to avoid the consequences of their actions should be f*#ked hard and often. You are to be pitied.
My dashcam really saved me once. A lady had failed to yield when making a left turn and I rear ended her as a result as she had just cut in front of me. Then when the cops arrived she said that I had singled her out, looked her in the eye, flipped her off, then purposely hit her. Totally made up. I never even saw her coming until I was hitting her after she jutted out for the left turn. At the time my dash cam couldn't play back the footage but I had it all saved on the SD card and said you just wait lady. You go ahead and say all that on the accident report and then when insurance sees the footage you'll be paying. And she did just that. 😊 So glad I had it because she totally would have gotten away with it otherwise because I did rear end her and without the footage I'd have no way of proving she failed to yield.
Same thing happened to me (sort of) I was driving down a straight-way and a woman failed to yield on a side street and T-boned me. It wasn't a 3-way-stop. I had the right of way, she had a stop sign, but she pulled out from my right side to take a left turn as I was passing her and hit me. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn't have a dash cam (bet your butt I do now, though!) but as soon as I got out of my car, I asked if she was okay, and she started screaming at me. Cussing me out. Calling me names, saying I messed up her car (literally the only damage she had to her car was some cosmetic damage from the side of my car scraping her front end when she hit me, meanwhile I needed both doors on my passenger side replaced, an alignment, and a new tire, which ended up totalling my car out because it was a really old car, and the cost to fix it would have been more than the car was worth.) And she told the police that someone on the opposite side motioned for her to go and that I just sped up before she could pull out. Luckily though, due to right-of-way laws, she was still ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign, and labeled at-fault, because it doesn't matter whether someone on the other side of the road was telling her to go, I had the right of way, and she had a stop sign.
Don’t argue at all. Let them continue to lie. Don’t say anything except to quietly tell the cop that it’s all on video. Get a dashcam that has front AND REAR facing lenses.
since I started dashcamming, I only do front and rear cam systems. It just gives you a fuller picture of whats going on. I know a few people who really go nuts with side cams. Not a single 4 channel system but rather 2x 2 channel dashcams.
@@PolarAnt You don't get the tire rub mark by rolling backwards. The tire marks come from the vehicle's tire that is moving, not left by one sitting still.
Never admit to having a dash cam. Let the officer do whatever he's going to do. Go to court, wait for the other person to lie under oath, and then produce the video. Now they've committed a felony. In my state that's a minimum 1 year prison sentence (maximum of 10) and a $1000 fine. After that makes the nightly news a few times, fewer people will lie about accidents.
Right to Record unfortunately that doesn’t happen. I’ve seen many people lie in court and nothing ever happens to them, there’s no consequences. And they can always say their memory was faulty or they just didn’t see the car, it’s an eye witness testimony, those are notoriously inaccurate, so not lying just confused.
Vadim Evstifeev No you haven't seen any such thing. Nobody could testify under oath to facts about an event, have their testimony refuted by video evidence showing their testimony was blatantly and intentionally false, and not been charged with perjury.
Them lying to cops have nothing to do with you. Think before you speak. You wont be dragged into court the cop at the scene will be. The accident gets taken care of through insurance and youll never see that lying women again
Me and my mother were out shopping late one evening this summer, and we parked at a fairly crowded parking lot. Sure, there are many cars parked, but there are far more parking spaces than there were cars. When we came back to our car we noticed that someone had just rammed their car into ours. The dent was HUGE. The couple in the car had just driven off the parking lot to avoid paying for our car. Luckily, there were witnesses who pulled out their phones and actually filmed this couple as they tried to flee. They denied their involvement, but the videos said something different. Karma!
I accidently bumped someone changing lanes one time and I was 100% at fault but later when the insurance company followed up with me she had tried to pawn off extra damage on her car on me and claim it was part of the accident, so the insurance ended up siding with me and I never heard back from them, and I ended up not paying a single penny
Several times when I was at fault in a fender-bender, I worked out a cash payment, got a signed release, no cops, no insurance companies. Once, I fell asleep at a stop light, rolled forward and rear-ended a taxi. Knew the company owner - offered $ 1000 to settle, he accepted $ 300, which would not even cover the cost of the paint....
I scratched a fellows truck once with my boat trailer at the dock. His wife went nuts but he and I both kept calm and traded insurance info and phone #'s. I offered to straight up pay to have it repaired. Never heard anything from him or the insurance company
I'm glad you were not hurt. It never ceases to amaze me how people just bold face lie like it's second nature. I'm going out to buy a dash cam. Thanks for your post.
OMG...she has some nerve!! Thank goodness for your dashcam, because of your video I am going to purchase one for my car. I'm thankful that it wasn't worse for you.
Ahhh the dash cam. $60 well spent. I have been running dash cams now for about 10 years. I have seen a steady raise in them over the last 3 years. In Russia I believe it's law to have them. At lease by the amount of videos coming out of Russia. Auto insurance companies should give a small discount if you have one. I believe it saves millions in false claims and false tickets. This saved me hundreds.
I've seen it stated as law, I've also seen it stated that insurance companies won't pay out if there is no camera footage of the incident because there is so much fraud. Either way they have more cameras than us. I would love insurance companies that implement a no payout without footage police. (exception being if your car is parked and a tree falls on it and stuff like that.)
@@patricktrimble7954 Don't think that would be a great idea. Memory card fills up, dashcam falls out of window, dashcam stops working, memory card gets corrupted, power chord stops working and dashcam powers down, footage goes out of focus... I've had a few of these happen to me. If you were in an accident when one of these happened would you not want reimbursed if you weren't at fault?
In Russia they had a lot of problems with corrupt cops giving tickets out without offences being committed, so everyone got a dash cam to prove the cops wrong. Also, catches the crazys driving like crazys.
not to mention their rate of insurance fraud outnumbers almost everyone else in the auto driving world, except for maybe China. Over there if you are hit by a car and injured, you are in the check book of the driver that hit you for life.
And that's why I recommend everyone have a dashcam! People lie all the time and sometimes you may not be able to prove your innocence and get smacked with 50% fault, or more. Glad I have my dashcam! Lady blindsided me and thankfully the dashcam showed her running the stop sign, totalling my car.
I passed a road ranger on a motorcycle with his girlfriend. He was playing games with me - driving 15 mph in a 35 mph zone. He didn’t like that I passed him so he pulled up in the middle of the road and banged on my window. I ignored him. When the light turned green I took off but so did he right next to me. I stopped and he gunned it and sprayed my car with gravel. A week later a state trooper came to my house and said that the guy riding the bike called 911 and said I hit his bike and girlfriend and ran...a hit and run punishable by 5 years in prison and $5,000 fine. Thank God the trooper saw there was NO damage to his bike or girlfriend. He tracked me down and questioned me and checked my rig and saw no damage and said if I would’ve hit his bike with my Hummer, I’d of knocked him down and done major damage. The trooper believed me. I need a dash cam!
@@jcrow5427 wow!! What a save! My gosh, I see dashcam footage just like that where they tried to blame it on the camera person's car, but the camera proved their innocence in a situation where they would've been wrongfully at fault. Hope that piece of crap got in trouble for lying! And good for you for not doing anything dramatic to enrage that situation any further than it did.
Cindy Loo K same here in Ireland, unless a car leaves the scene or someone is seriously injured police tell you to exchange info and let insurance companies deal with it between themselves. But this woman must be blind to say she didn’t see them 😂
Not true. I had a person hit me and damage my car slightly and I still called the cops. It's better to get a police record. Yes you can go through insurance, but they will lag because they're stingy. If you have an accident report, insurance will most likely believe you. I live in CA
As a former claims adjuster, Do NOT agree to do anything "one-on-one", people! If they're afraid of their rates going up, there's a good reason for it- this isn't their first rodeo. They SHOULD be paying more, or lose their insurance for their ignorance, and hopefully lose their license over it. Don't let them guilt trip you into accepting anything less than a claim against their policy.
We relied on police reports in part for vehicle positions etc., but also damage on vehicles, statements, and previous claims to reach decisions. A dash cam WILL SAVE YOUR ASS. That said, I'd REALLY recommend not telling the scammer about it, perhaps trying to get the officer to look at it to avoid a ticket if it initially looks unfavorable to you, but not say anything to the scammer. Let them file their fraudulent insurance claim, THEN give them the video. As a claims adjuster, whether it was my insured or the other driver, nothing made me feel all tingly inside quite like busting a rat and getting them charged with insurance fraud.
The first time I saw this video I knew exactly what to get my 2 Son's for Christmas last year. They were very surprised and extremely grateful. They said Mom you picked the perfect gift!!!
@MrTron Not true! Seen a woman in court arrested for lying about her ex sexually assulting her( He wasn't even in the country at the time) because he left her.
This is horrible. Shame on her! Crashing into you and lying about it through her teeth! Your wife sounds like a strong honest woman! It's good that everything was worked out.
There was a time where I was (partially) responsible for a collision (there weren’t any lane lines and we had only lived in the city for two weeks and it was a weird road so I wasn’t full in my “lane” and a guy hit me from behind). If you admit your involvement and just tell the complete truth (to the cops and insurance company) and stay calm about the situation you’ll always get a better outcome. I ended up with no ticket and just a broken twilight (guy drove a big truck with a deer bumper and it just shattered my taillight which I promptly replaced on my own) and same for him, no ticket. (even though he tried to lie to my insurance company later on, for like 8 grand worth of truck damage that he claimed my tiny car did when he hit me from behind, which didn’t work). Moral of the story: always tell the absolute truth.
Why didn't you show the rest of the video from the accident site? She said she wanted to see the recording but did she actually see it? I'd like to see the lady's reaction to realizing her lie was recorded & the policeman's for realizing who was actually lying to him about this whole incident.
I’m with you on this point, too many people post on sites like this and don’t give the final outcome or an update. Just busy trying to make themselves into wannabes and convince themselves their right in everything they do.
Yep, another perfect example of "don't tell them you have a dash cam till you go to court". This would have been an easy lawsuit and they would have been lucky to get insurance at all after that.
Liars are ten-a-penny, unfortunately. The good news is this type of on-the-spot lying (without thinking it through properly), often gets them caught out. I remember being in a bump as a taxi passenger once. The taxi driver was driving along a main road, not breaking any rules. A car pulled straight out a side street into us - he just wasn't paying attention to the traffic, as he was trying to follow where another car was leading him. Anyway, same thing - he apologised initially. Until the cops showed up. Then his story changed. Suddenly, he was claiming it had been safe to pull out, but the taxi driver must have been well over the speed limit (and he just didn't notice the speed of the taxi until too late). Well, I knew for certain the taxi wasn't speeding, since I was in it. There was no dashcam, but I think they got CCTV. My statement helped too, I heard, because I didn't know the taxi driver (or the other guy). So I was viewed as an independent witness.
I live here in Michigan too where there is a no-fault law and this is the exact reason I have no problem spending $200 on a good dash cam kudos to you man
My friend just got hit a couple of weeks ago. She was waiting in the middle of an intersection to turn right (I live in New Zealand and we drive on the left so that’s why she had to wait to turn right) and then the lights turned yellow. So she was about ready to turn and then one lady ran the yellow and she thought “shut that was a bit late”, then the lights turned red so she began turning to the right so she wouldn’t be stuck in the middle of the intersection, and then a lady in front of her ran the red light and smashed into her. The lady that hit her knew immediately that she was in the wrong and admitted so to my friend immediately and apologised, they then exchanged details and went on their way. Because it was dark and raining there was no witnesses and there wasn’t any cameras on any of the surrounding buildings that my friend could use to prove she was in the right. Her car revived so much damage that it was written off. Sure enough couple of days later the lady that hit her called up and said “oh actually it wasn’t my fault” and since my friend had no way to prove that the accident wasn’t her fault she’s basically fucked. She’s gonna try take her to court but unless the lady confessed she will likely have to pay a $950 excess. She’s 18. Get a dash cam and always call the cops.
Erina Leigh Too bad your friend can’t force that person to take a lie detector test. Hope she gets a chance to take her to court. Maybe once the person gets that notice in her mailbox she’ll have a change of heart and confess. Sucks to learn a lesson like that. I’d have told your friend to record that person saying it was her fault and not your friend’s fault.
With that level of damage we are expected to call cops in oz. my sister had a similar accident when she was about 20. Turning across traffic and bastard ran the red and went ballistic. No way to prove they ran a red without red light camera. His word against hers and unfortunately you tend to be seen as in the wrong if turning across traffic.
My boyfriend was driving home from work when the car in front of him turned into the left turning lane to turn left As my boyfriwnd proceeded to go with the flow of traffic this kid with his mom decided they didnt want to turn left at the last moment and turned right back into traffic, hitting the front drivers side on my car. It caved in his fender and left some paint smears on my paint job. At the scene no cops, he admitted to it being his fault, I called our insurance and explained and he went right home called his insurance company and lied. Our story fit the damage and he had to pay for his own repairs. Ha ha dick! People are liars and I will be investing in a dash cam in the future. Thanks for sharing, call the cops even if there isn't an injury.
Yes I now have a dash cam. I was in a wreck on the 16th Oct 2018 I was traveling north in the far left lane when some women crosses all lanes cutting off two other cars and I t boned her at 35 mph . And some witness said I hit her in the center turn lane. And with my testimony And the other drivers testimony did not jive with the witness statement. And I was found not at fault and no tickets.... But she got a bunch. Suspended license and no insurance etc etc. Andi was able too find VIDEO of crash and have copy on cd proving my story as well. That witness needs his eyes checked... SO GET A CAM NOW .AND PROTECT YOURSELF AGAINST LIES .
Accident/ injury lawyers have paid witnesses on call 24/7. Same thing happened to my son. He got video from a Chevron station to prove his side. He waited to the very last minute to provide his evidence. The other party went to "Therapy" for their traumatic injuries and tried to shake down AAA big time only to be found at fault. Average witness fee in Los Angeles is 5 or 600 dollars.
You gotta love those people that lie to try and get out of trouble. i had a foriegn lady driving beside me on a 4 lane road and I was in the lane closest to the curb and she literally pushed me off the road onto the sidwalk by wondering out of her lane and when I pulled over she kept on going and I chased her down and got infront of her and got her to pull over finally and sadly I don't have a dashcam at the time, but the insurance company deemed me not at fault and I got my car fixed and I had to go to pysiotherapy for 3 months none of it out of pocket to me. To this day I don't think this lady got charged for hit and run like she was supposed to be in the eyes of the law she didn't get a ticket for wreckless driving or leaving a scene of an accident. I think that she only got a higher insurance premium, but it wouldn't suprise me if she didn't even get that. Anyway, I'm glad you both are okay and I have subbed to your channel😇 Keep on keepin' on Bandit 1516
I love waiting for the crazy story to be told by other driver, then when the cop looks at me I always say "if you want the truth follow me back for the dashcam". Priceless.
CommonSoldier101 - Because their insurance record is probably sub basement to begin with and the latest love tap will result in higher premiums or immediate cancellation.
A cop documents what happens, however it’s up to the insurance whose at fault. Though a cop coming to a verdict himself does tip the scale for the insurance as well.
@@kirara2516 they can't take your phone as evidence unless it's directly related to a crime, and there are only 5 states (don't quote me on that) in which an officer can ask you to stop recording, and you are required to comply.
Working in insurance everybody should have a dash cam! People lie all the time. Which really makes it hard to settle claims when it comes to auto accidents.
We were going through an intersection when a lady made a left hand turn in front of us. We stopped, but her momentum caused her to hit our left front tire. We were driving a hot rod that had no fenders and the impact did no damage to our wheel, but dented her passenger door. She profusely apologized and since no damage to our car was done, we all went on our ways. When we got home a few moments later the cops were waiting for us. She had filed a hit and run against us. The cops seperated us and asked for our versions. When they matched up and she started to change her story, the cops left and we heard no more from anybody. I don't know the outcome of it all and that was in the late 50's. We were just kids driving a hot rod and she thought she could get away with it. I learned a lot from that, though. I trust no-body now.
Faye Hamilton Cops saw the video, seen that they aren’t at fault, then sent them on their way.. They have no idea if the lady at fault got a ticket, etc. He showed their insurance company the video and they weren’t charged for any repairs to their vehicle.
Fayes comment was left 5 days ago. The op only posted 4 days ago what the outcome was. How can she be berrated by people asking 'cant you read'....surely you guys cant read nor do simple deductions that she cant read something thats not been posted yet smh.
I hate to involve the cops but a lady ran a red light and hit me, then she tried to flee then stopped. When she got out she denied doing it, said my light was red so I immediately called the cops and took pics of the damage. She tried giving me a fake insurance #. The cops showed up and found her 100% at fault. I’m glad I did because she would have fucked me over if I hadn’t gotten the cops to find her at fault. I am considering a camera, though.
If one of the first things the other person says is that they'd like to deal with an accident by themselves, that's a clear indicator that you should call the cops right then. They're either trying to hide something, they have no intention of making things right, or they're just shady pieces of shit. If there was damage, and you're not at fault, call the cops. Always.
In car camera's are a wonderful thing I have camera's covering back.front and sides and are triggered by any motion around the car cost was covered when a car backed into the side of my vehicle the driver got out had a look and drove off. I had his car licence plate, the driver, date, time and as it also provides GPS co-ords the exact place it happened. did not cost me a single cent but the other driver got a slew of charges.
dingaling really? Because end of the day she lied and would have came to bite them if they didn’t call them. They are police yes they catch criminals but they are here for us to protect us and to serve us.
TDOG, really? My point was really that in the UK a 'cop' would drive straight past a fender bender accident. They have better things to do. Unfortunately that often involves catching speeders with speed guns because that gets their activity/case rate up. Sitting with you for 45mins is the last thing they want to be dealing with, sadly. Just get some ID and contact details, plus pictures, and deal with it. I actually think having the cops turn up probably made the liar even more defensive and reluctant to admit to anything. But the US is not the UK and calling the cops might be needed to save you getting shot. Lastly, even a no-fault event on your insurance history has an effect, so sorting it outside the insurance is a valid option (but with auto repair costs these days, rarely viable) It reduces the number of options you have when renewing your insurance (some companies will not quote you, so you get left with high options, even with good driver discount retained). Just being in an accident has an effect on your 'risk'.
no chance of the rust being transfered from her car as it's to ingrained in the metal plus the cracking in the paint around the rust shows it wasn't just done, if it was the cracks wouldn't be so noticeable as no dust would have settled in the creases of the cracks making them as noticeable as they are.
I was driving in my property that is 5 feet away from the main road and a lady turned on the shoulder and on to my property hit my car and said I hit her and then she tried to detain me. My German shepherd bit her defending me and I arrested her
A taxi drove into the side of my rental car in Honolulu (he tried to turn left from the middle lane on a one way three lane road) right in front of two HPD officers. I was told that they don't write tickets for "fender benders" and our insurance companies would need to sort it out. The rental car company immediately charged my Amex for the estimated value of the damage plus a huge sum for the "loss of revenue" whilst the car was repaired. I simply handed everything to Amex and let them deal with it. I was staggered that the offence was witnessed by two police officers who chose to do nothing.
In NV you have to call for the cops if the damage is $500 or more. Like the average joe knows wants worth $500. When in doubt, just call the cops. When the lying begins, show them the video.
@@smokert5555 yep i was only going about 5 mph on ice and caused 2,600 in damage to my plastic car. Not a scratch to be seen on the truck i bumped though had a steel bumper
It's actually pretty easy if you have liability only and the damage is minor it's probably not $500 if you have comp Collision it's over $500 even if it's a scrape and if it physically damaged is a part of the car it's probably over $500
The lady was so lovely when she got angry. She remained dignified and so eloquent. That type of lady teaches me, at 54, a huge lesson on who I want to be like. Now to the other woman. Bob Swift But in this case she would have lied about what happened so it’s good to have an official record in case it goes to court for whatever reason
Yea let the insurances work it out. He could even show the footage to his insurance. My tax money should be used on more important things than a freaking fender bender.
The only reason i would ponder calling cops is due to "i want to handle this one on one". The first thing i thought when she said that was no insurance and/or no license.
I've had a dashcam longer than I've not had one. 8 years as a MP, 5 years as a Postal Inspector and 17 as a Deputy US Marshal. I'm amazed at the people that swear they are not at fault until the dashcam is mentioned, then it's a different story. Every car in my family has a front and rear facing camera.
i think front and rear cameras should be standard on all cars that would stop this crap i mean car makers put alot of electronic crap in cars anyway put something in that really matters
Dashcams do work one time I had a crash because a guy stopped in the middle of the free way when I was behind him I had porche when he got out of his car he didn’t get a scratch on his car but on the porche the entire front bumper got messed up but as soon as he saw me he said do you have insurance when his car was perfectly fine. i got out of the situation because of the dash but I had to fix my own car
Carrigan Sevedge sometimes when people are pulling scams, you cant have that distance, you can try but they will always slam on their breaks and then say you hit them and they did nothing wrong. Years back a group of people were adding a switch to their break lights that turned them off, they slam their breaks on and you wouldnt have any idea they were stopping because it was happening too quickly. I had a teacher that it happened to, she took it to court and sued because she knew she was in the right, they impounded both cars and inspected the break lights on the “victims” car, sure enough there was a toggle kill switch down by the emergency break, small enough to conceal by the carpet, but one foot press and it killed the break lights. She ended up winning and the ticket was dropped, i dont know if she ended up suing them or how the break light scamming ring was torn apart, but i know some people still will try to get you to hit them to get insurance money
Hi darthgandalf, can I use this video "Lying lady caught on dashcam" in my compilation of dashcam clips?with credit (name on screen).Any comment?update?
I worked in an area where this very thing happened. The 2nd driver got out of her car and yelled why you hit me intimating the first car had reversed at the red light.
Because of your bad experience , I got front and rear facing dash cameras .. they cost me 300 dollars but I know it's a good investment .. your video is proof of that ..
Wow...people are disgusting. She sounded like she was under the influence of medication or alcohol and She was speaking so slow. I really hope you guys won that in court and so sorry that you had to go through that.
Don't mention the dashcam until the other driver puts their lie in writing and signs it. Then, they can be charged with making a false police report, which is illegal in most states.
Wow. What a nutjob. Thankful for my dash cam in case anything happens. A guy hit my car, and ran, in his Aunt's car. All on dash cam. I've gotten all sorts of stuff on my dash cam. Wish I had one when I lived in Fort Worth, TX back in 1991. I was on my way home, and I hated going through the roundabout (for obvious reasons), so I always took the side road that runs parallel to it. As I'm driving along, this fool in a 4 Runner pulls out onto the road from the nightclub. He was going to drive the wrong way on a one way to bypass having to go the long way around. He stops in the middle of the road after realizing I was there. Couldn't back up in time before I hit the driver front fender with my passenger front fender. He tried to claim it was my fault for speeding, which I wasn't. After my dad did some investigation, turns out, two off duty Fort Worth cops were at the door, and witnessed the whole thing. They told insurance that yes, he pulled out in front of me, and was about to go the wrong way to cut through to the roundabout. He finally apologized, and his insurance paid to fix my car.
I lovvvvvve the fact that you caught this on dash cam. I recently got one and it’s been the best investment I’ve made. People are total liars and there’s nothing like a recorded incident.

@LiamHipp2020 Bloody nice to be there, when you are in trouble caused by others. Soy boy, methinks.
Tell that to anime.

Zz you're an idiot. Better make sure that your man bun is on correctly.
So glad I had it because she totally would have gotten away with it otherwise because I did rear end her and without the footage I'd have no way of proving she failed to yield.

It should never go thag far. Tell the cop right away about the camera and she will be arrested on the spot. Why waste time going to court?
Nathan Reimer So you think someone being arrested doesn't end up in court? What are you, 12 years old?

When we came back to our car we noticed that someone had just rammed their car into ours. The dent was HUGE. The couple in the car had just driven off the parking lot to avoid paying for our car. Luckily, there were witnesses who pulled out their phones and actually filmed this couple as they tried to flee. They denied their involvement, but the videos said something different. Karma!

Same. After I had an accident where the lady lied. Fortunately her own insurance saw right through her lie, but I'm not taking chances anymore.
In some states your insurance is reduced if you have one

Not true. I had a person hit me and damage my car slightly and I still called the cops. It's better to get a police record. Yes you can go through insurance, but they will lag because they're stingy. If you have an accident report, insurance will most likely believe you. I live in CA
How in the world does she think she can get away with lying when the damage on the cars tells the story. No wonder she didn't want the cops involved.
you should have let her make and sign the police report before ever revealing the cam.
Every car should have cameras front and back. If they did there would be no need for the he said she said crap. Show the video, end of story.
Even with no dash cam, there is no way the cop is going to believe her story.
@kragseven Still, you were at the exit preparing to leave. I would find it hard to believe you were backing up in this situation.
As a former claims adjuster,
Do NOT agree to do anything "one-on-one", people!

My boyfriend was driving home from work when the car in front of him turned into the left turning lane to turn left
As my boyfriwnd proceeded to go with the flow of traffic this kid with his mom decided they didnt want to turn left at the last moment and turned right back into traffic, hitting the front drivers side on my car.
Anyway, I'm glad you both are okay and I have subbed to your channel😇

So why didn't you show the cop viewing the dashcam and the lady's response to that?

they could continue recording with their cell phones. That’s what they were recording with, when outside the vehicle 🙄
Because sometimes officers ask to stop the recording or they can legally take your phone for evidence.
Thats how my first car was destroyed... 15 days after I bought it... By an unlicensed driver... Driving a corporate vehicle.

Good luck calling the police for a fender bender in the UK. They'll laugh all the way to the speed trap they are headed for.
dingaling really?
Similar in Canada. Anything under $2000 doesn’t require police involvement.
Elena A. Good thing it’s America
Same in oil city Pa
the rust appeared quickly at 4.51 near the door after the accident! I think that picture was of previous damage you lumped in to get repaired....
Michelle Brown lol I was wondering the same thing
The rust was on her car.. hmmm
no
Without seeing more photos of the damage from her car it's hard to tell but that does look odd.
no chance of the rust being transfered from her car as it's to ingrained in the metal plus the cracking in the paint around the rust shows it wasn't just done, if it was the cracks wouldn't be so noticeable as no dust would have settled in the creases of the cracks making them as noticeable as they are.
Pretty much any damage is going to cost $500 or more to fix. I once got $2000 for a plastic bumper filled with styrofoam. On a $4000 car.
@@smokert5555 yep i was only going about 5 mph on ice and caused 2,600 in damage to my plastic car. Not a scratch to be seen on the truck i bumped though had a steel bumper
Replacing a bolt and washer on this new crap they call cars today will cover the $500.00 requirement. Lol
It's actually pretty easy if you have liability only and the damage is minor it's probably not $500 if you have comp Collision it's over $500 even if it's a scrape and if it physically damaged is a part of the car it's probably over $500
If it needs paint it will be atleast 800
SHE DIN DO NUFFIN! SHE WAS JUST TURNING HER LIFE AROUND 2!
Man, if you're gonna film something, film it properly.🙄
The lady was so lovely when she got angry. She remained dignified and so eloquent.
That type of lady teaches me, at 54, a huge lesson on who I want to be like.
Now to the other woman. You are now out there in W.W.W showing your shameful butt ( that is the bit I may struggle with, but i may have called her far worse before i watched it through).
Love to all and play nice people x
From elle in England x
This is why people should have a DashCam. You have no idea what people are going to pull on you to get you sued or arrested.
Well, getting a dash cam now.
Cops don’t have to be present for this
Bob Swift But in this case she would have lied about what happened so it’s good to have an official record in case it goes to court for whatever reason
Yea let the insurances work it out. He could even show the footage to his insurance. My tax money should be used on more important things than a freaking fender bender.
Actually some insurances will want/need to see a police report.
The only reason i would ponder calling cops is due to "i want to handle this one on one". The first thing i thought when she said that was no insurance and/or no license.
@@howo357 Its *ALWAYS* good to have it on record. No matter what ANYONE says.
Wow what a con,,, people love themselves too much
It's amazing how easy it becomes for a normally sane and rational person, to turn into a completely lying piece of crap!
May _day you should have enough space in front of you to stop in time.
Carrigan Sevedge going 100km/h it’s not that easy
So what was the outcome?
That's one reason I 'thumbs downed' it. The other was the in-your-face pressure to hit 'like'.
*Well the lady that was behind the couple got her car fixed and the ones with the dash cam got ticketed for hitting the lady behind them 😐*
The lady who rear ended the couple was instructed by the cop to subscribe to and like this channel 😜😜😜😜😜
I NEED a dashcam! People just aren’t good drivers.
She starts back peddling immediately. Only when caught
Right
But even though he had the camera, he didn’t show the lady so
Ahh 'honest' America!
What a cheek she had!
NO! Of course not~!
Hi darthgandalf, can I use this video "Lying lady caught on dashcam" in my compilation of dashcam clips?with credit (name on screen).Any comment?update?
I wish you had shown what the officer said and how other woman reacted after it was played. That was what I was waiting for.
Learn how to use a video camera...
Purposely blurred to hide their faces.
darthgandalf Thank you for the update. So very few people update their videos, and we never find out what happened!
Yet another reason why I don't leave the house without a dashcam up front and in the back
I hope you pressed charges for falsifying a police report.
Many grown women have no shame in lying like that because it sure beats accountability.
I’ve been watching a bunch of these videos, and now I think I should really get a dash cam
I lovvvvvve the fact that you caught this on dash cam. I recently got one and it’s been the best investment I’ve made. People are total liars and there’s nothing like a recorded incident.
In that huge car park , how come there were about 6 or 7 parked together?
Seems like a flight sim with pushback, taxiing, song as a replacement to flight attendant instruction
As soon as they say "I'd rather not involve the police" you know you've got trouble coming.
