It doesn't work like that. You cannot present evidence in court without first having it admitted during pre-trial discovery, which would give the opposing counsel the opportunity to prepare for it. There is no "last minute evidence" that is ever added to any trial, despite what you see on television. @@daltonsprinkle8936 Yeah that and also the officer didn't even cite him for the supposed 70 in a 40. He gave him a 35 in a 15 mph zone. People acting like the cop gave him a fat ticket.
The driver should have kept his mouth shut about the dash camera in his car! When you go to traffic court with your attorney show the evidence of your speed on the dash camera! The look on the police officer's face is going be so dumb that he'll ask drivers if they have dash cameras in their vehicles!
the look is going to be a smile when the cop gets paid overtime for coming to court to lie and faces no consequences for it. Meanwhile this nice guy looses a day pay for having to go to court.
@@rustyrebar123 naw.. they been saying that overtime excuse forever. Fact is they hate going to court answering the defense lawyer's questions. A lawyer will not make it fun on the plaintiff..
If the cop shows up for court
Richard Earl Deary Jr. Some people have jobs, and really can't afford to go to court! A day in courts a day off work!
It doesn't work like that. You cannot present evidence in court without first having it admitted during pre-trial discovery, which would give the opposing counsel the opportunity to prepare for it. There is no "last minute evidence" that is ever added to any trial, despite what you see on television. If he tried to sneak this in there the prosecution, or the judge, or the district attorney would move to have the evidence thrown out - at which point he'd be back to his word vs the cop.
Never help ANY injured police officer...EVER!
Absolutely no one in the car:
Him: 73 wowww 73
This happened to me before.
I knew the cop was gonna pull me over so I engaged my cruise control. Stayed at about 62/63 mph and the cop said he clocked me at 70. I told him i had cruise control on the whole time cause I seen you coming.
He let me off with no ticket.
I purchased the dash cam from your link. The quality is incredible of your footage.
he was doing 38 in the ramp.. - But he wasnt doing no 73 lol
He was doing 60 in a 40 tho which i thought was the reason he got pulled over but that officer was smoking something 🤣
But if he was going 30 something on the off ramp, then why did he wait that long in pulling him over. I get checking plates and all, but that's a long time if real

@@charleshunterii7157 not all police can run your information from the car. Some have to wait and hear back from dispatch.
Charles Hunter II In some areas, especially school zones and highways outside the city the pay is increased. So cops do wait for the best moment to pull you over so they can charge you 30-40$ more.
He lied about using the radar and caught red handed.
Shouldn't that be a crime when they submit a false document to the courts and the citizen has proof it's false ?
It is... Its called perjury should press charges in civil court both against the officer and police department and officer needs to be dismissed.
I mean, his radar may be a tiny bit off? Let's give the cop a bit of benefit of doubt. dude was going only 60 tho, that's 13mph off lol. I think more likely the radar got a false reading when he was passing that van due to interference. The cop should know that tho

sorry about you troubles, thank you for the video and the link, made me buy one.
Good on you that you just took the ticket and didn’t escalate on the spot. I wouldn’t have said anything and just took all the tickets this lying scumbag would have writen me and have them all voided in court with my dashcam footage and expose this pos in front of the legal system.
I've had a few speeding tickets. Every single time the officer says I was going 10 miles over what I really was then writes me a ticket for what I was actually going like he's doing me a favor. I don't trust them at all. We need massive police reform.
Officer really said “lemme tell you sum, lemme tell you sum”
73.. wow. This is my EXACT reaction. The hell outta here man
This is one of the reasons I got a dashcam, as well as insurance fraud. But mine doesn't have a speedometer on it, I've been thinking about getting one that does and using it for rear view recording. I've had it almost 2 years now and haven't had anything happen where I was glad to have it, but I know as soon as I didn't use it something would. Glad you had proof man

When a cop claims speeding you can request to see the radar gun calibration certificate. They do have to provide it upon request.
Any updates on the incident?
ArchAnge11 thanks much appreciated... court date on hold until after covid 19
Well in New York they can claim your speeding by their line of sight. They don’t even have to confirm it with a radar gun.
@@brad3283 then you can request to see their speed certification card. Is that why in my state when no one is there and the signs aren't flashing its posted speed limit not reduced. P.s. I was apart of a road crew team NC idk where this is but that's how it works here unless my crew cap was dumb as tits and told us bs.

Time to look into that dash cam. I was about to ask about it but then saw the link. Hope you took it to court.
That’s how u do it be respectful even when u know ur right and argue in court , fight in court not on the road. Respect to the driver
I would add a 2nd cam directly on my car's speedometer, so I can have 2 references for court as to the speed of my vehicle at all times.
