      @Outside Edition they aren't man. There are just so many that are being exposed it ruins it for all the police officers that genuinely care. Obviously you have to protect yourself bit dont buy in to ALL cops being corrupt. It's just not that way. It's like saying all white people are rascist or all black people are criminals. Just not the way it is. It's more complicated then that. Take care man have a great day brother!!

      Mike Taylor Defund the police

    • @joels5722
      @joels5722 4 роки тому +16

      Mike Taylor defund doesn’t mean abolish. Demilitarization won’t stop police from doing their job. For example, the Chicago Police Department has gotten $400,000,000 in budget increases over the past 10 years, bringing the annual budget to 1.7 billion. But for some reason violent crime and gun violence have increased. Since that money has proven to be ineffective at reducing crime, that money should be reallocated directly to communities - for example, funding to education and work infrastructure are far more effective at reducing crime and police funding - especially in areas that already have a well established police force. When you use that money to eliminate the socioeconomic conditions that create crime in the first place (poverty, homelessness, lack of employment etc), then naturally crime will go down and the need for police will be reduced. Of course the need for law enforcement will never disappear, especially in high density and low income communities, but even if your goal is specifically to reduce crime, we know that poverty and crime have an undeniable correlation. If you want to eliminate crime, you eliminate poverty.

      @twotwentyswift simple. Cops will follow a citizen and micromanage/evaluate/scrutinize a citizens driving while following. True. I got a ticket for not making a complete stop at a 3 way stop, no sidewalks or anything. He tells me how there are kids and families crossing the street, there is literally nowhere to walk to except a main road (no sidewalks). Few weeks earlier I seen a cop run the same stop sign going in the same direction as me. So he gives me the ticket and I ask "what happens when a cop runs the stop sign?" He just said have a nice day and walked away.
      Another story: a couple months later at a nearby street. I was walking home at night when a cop is coming in to make a right hand turn while I was approaching the road to cross on his red light. It felt like they raced me to the light so they didn't have to wait for me to cross, they literally did not even stop completely. So in a span of 2 or 3 months, within a 200m distance, I twice witnessed cops doing the very thing they gave me a ticket for in the same spot.

    I am not a young guy anymore, but in the early 90s when I was in college, I got pulled over for bullshit reasons often. I call it driving while poor, as my car was a little older. I got tired of it, so I started pulling myself over anytime a cop got near me to avoid them making up bullshit. Now im 49 and havent been stopped in about 15 years... I make more money, drive a newer car. 6 months ago a cop blew a stop sign and got on my ass. I immediately pulled myself over. He pulled behind me, no lights on.... I step out, ask if he wants to go passed me.. no response. I get back in and drive away... lights immediately come on. Long story short, I am blasting him as soon as he got to my car, they tell me my registration is SUSPENDED, not expired, SUSPENDED(it was not suspended or expired) I told him he is full of shit and when we are dont I want him to show me on his computer where it says my registration is suspended. IN the end, of course it wasnt, he then tells me he mistyped my license plate number by 1, so it was a different car that was suspended. I have a chevy truck.... I ask to see the other plate on his computer. Had he shown me, I would have been like.. ok, no problem, I can see how you could do that. But no, he refuses to show me so I know he is lying through his teeth. I filed a complaint the next day but we all know nothing will happen. I had my dash cam rolling also. Eric Johnston. Apparently police & other emergency service vehicles are exempt from the "tint" regulations. So the reason of making it difficult for a ( normal citizen) driver to get a clear & uninhibited view of other traffic, pedestrians & other objects thereby must also make a high speed pursuit by police vehicles equipped with "mirror tint" a significantly more dangerous undertaking for the cops involved. The risk to other vehicles & the general public must therefore be significantly increased as well. It's t he old story of; " Don't do as I do, Do as I tell you to do". In other words it is a small but nonetheless important part of the intimidatory, subjugating policy's & philosophies of the judicial system & the police departments.

      @Dominic EastonI totally see what youre getting at but there are also many latino and white gangs. The only peoples ive havent heard almost any gang activity from is asians. Someone doesnt have to be in a gang to be considered dangerous. Its a police thing. They have to treat people innocent untill proven guilty. Not the other way around. Thats my biggest problem with the police in the US. I feel like they have this mindset like everyone is out to get them. Many people dislike police but very few would actually cause them any harm for just being a officer. And the BS tickets they hand out to extort people. But that happens to everyone.

      Research IsForPlebs for you yes. Im glad you've been left alone, and may you always be left alone.
      I don't have tints. I even drive with my windows down so they can see my seatbelt on easier. 5/54 they literally asked if the car was stolen. A car in my name. Why should an officer ask you if the car is stolen. Stolen cars get reported. Another few times I was pulled over cause the officer said I shouldn't have debaged the rear of the vehicle (I own) so he can tell what model it is. (Why does it matter if im not doing anything illegal)
      Out of the total 54 I only got 2 tickets. Which still got dismissed in court. An officer said I was racing where on his own dash cam I was not and was doing below the speed limit in a right lane (slow lane) . The other one was for running a stop sign near a plaza. Which the plaza had footage showing I stopped. In fact I was at the stop sign for like 5 full seconds. There were no other cars, when there are no cars at all I stop even longer to dissuade police BS.
      IM BLACK. now one thing I can say. ALL of my encounters were okay (in terms of manners, no ramdom pull over is okay) except 3 of them where the officers literally pulled up to my windows gun drawn. For what. Cause I was 17. Owned a crappy Mercedes. Liked to drive local to avoid tolls. Driving on the highway is the best way to avoid being pulled over. I rarely drive local now also.

      @@DYINGTOLIVE32 it matters because you're flat out lying when you say he's not black. It matters because you lied to the cop by saying your tint isnt too dark. It matters because you think your opinion allows you to break the law. It matters when you say you were profiled. It matters because you think you have a "get out of jail free" card because of your hatred towards cops that pull you over for valid reasons. You got out of a ticket even though you broke the law. Illinois State law is the front side windows must allow 50% VLT. The rear side and rear windows can be any darkness. But your front side windows are much darker than 50% light transmission. You act like you don't even know the tint laws in your own state. But you knowingly broke the law. And you race-baited every viewer into believing you were being profiled by a white cop. Fact is, the cop is in fact a black man.
      You jumped on the bandwagon with every other ignorant black man or woman who feel they were being profiled just because they had police interaction. You all say you were targeted. Guess what. I'm a white man. I've been pulled over 3 times in the last 5 months. Once for doing 9mph over on the highway, once for supposedly cracked tail light housing, and once for a headlight being burned out. I wasn't being targeted. As one cop was white, one was black, and one was Hispanic. Each time i was pulled over, there was a valid reason. I didn't make excuses like "profiling". They were doing their jobs correctly and effectively. As i expect them to. Your tint is too dark by law. Take the warning and fix the fucking problem. Quit making excuses! But you won't. Because you dont believe you should live by state law. That is where the problem lies. It's people like you who give cops a bad name. It's people like you who get shot by cops just trying to do their jobs. You could have been another statistic. This situation could have went south in a hurry. Thankfully this cop just saw you as an ignorant little child that needs to go home to his mommy and get a spanking. It's people like you who make cops shoot people by driving them clinically insane. You're ignorant. You dont know your states tint law. And you're just another little girl who cried wolf. Grow up and own up!

    Loved how you explained the warning vs ticket perspective. Nailed him. Thanks for not cussing him out like some of these amateurs. Way to go.

    This man was phenomenal. Kept his tone and words polite but held firm to his rights. Even if he did get a ticket or arrested this video alone would dismiss any charges. He knows his rights and the law
