@@NickRoshonI’m getting ready to sell my 2 owner, 49k mile, SF Bay Area QP5. Not really a project car, per se. Would love to see its next ownership experience chronicled. How does one contact you if you’d like more info and pics?
@@pinkace 150k views? UA-cam pays ~0.2¢/ view, 150k views is generously $1000 and that's if the videos are long (90min+) with high viewer retention through the video. The series almost certainly netted less than $500 in ad revenue.
Really beautiful car. I wish I was in a position to make a really poor, impulsive financial decision. Nice work. This has been a great series to watch.
Nick once “told me” to get a Jeep Wrangler on a podcast and now I have a lifted 1971 K5 Blazer. I’m glad to see content like this, but nick you and Doug and whoever Filipo/ Kennan should do some of the challenges like “who can find the best car for under 3k” then do a road trip with it
Loved the series and want more! Really enjoyed Nick's enthusiasm and how relatable he is. Would love to see: R63 Dad wagon, Continental/Flying Spur, first gen Panamera, E60 M5 (track battle finale with Kennan), GT-R
Awesome series. Nick has an excellent screen presence and is so likeable. He's the kind of guy we'd all like to have around. Would love to see him get a project Mazda RX-8!
Watched the whole series and enjoyed it. Nick's use of the safety rated flip flops for every activity was much appreciated. Many UA-camrs don't put the effort in to make sure others are safe when working on their own cars, but not Nick!
Would be cool to see a 1 or 2yr update on this. I mean specifically because of the P38’s reputation and that this has just had all the bits done. Nice work, looks fantastic.
A not totally destroyed RX8 would be cool. Even the nice ones need work/reliability upgrades that would make good content and they’re a very underrated driving experience.
Thanks for doing this, Nick! I definitely learned a few things watching this series. For example, I just learned today about all the different special editions of the P38, a little bit about what they are, and why they're so uncommon. Never really thought about it before, but it makes perfect sense. For a future project car, you should do a Jaguar S-type R. They're cheap, and also known to be problematic, but they look pretty damn good! Not to mention the fact that they sound fantastic!
@NickRoshon Thanks for putting it on the list! Hopefully, you'll be able to find a green one! I don't know how rare the different paint colors are on the S-Type, but British Racing Green looked great on these! I gotta say though, my personal favorite is the slightly darker Metallic Green. If you find a decent one in either shade, I just might end up being a bidder on it!
I’ve really enjoyed this series, for unknown reasons. But, the best unexpected takeaway, and actionable comment, was around 19:30, regarding 1 per year. So I’ve got about 36 more cars to ahead of me for that ownership experience! And I’m going to start! Tomorrow.
I know your Videos don't get as many Clicks, but just give it Time! Insanely enjoying your Videos! Though as a Bavarian Mountain Guy, i will always prefer my old rugged Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, though i never tried nor driven any Range or Land Rover Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps

Interestingly enough, I know of one P38 in my neighborhood that is used as a professional road assistance tow car. :D
Loved this series as a thing to watch. But “we spend N episodes roasting this car and then try to sell it” is an entertaining proposition. Though the buyer knows what they’re getting into.
Great content. I really think this series and the rest of the “fun” videos on this channel deserve more views, I’m really enjoying it. Looking forward to Nick doing the QP now
@@NickRoshon it’s nothing special but it kicks the butt out of those harbor freight scanners. Unfortunately though, I doubt it will work with some VW products. Their software is pretty proprietary. Which is a bummer, because if any car is gonna need to be scanned, it’s gonna be a VW😂
@@Titus_2_11-12 The test is good for 2 years UNLESS you change ownership, then you have to get a new one done within 90 days of sale...so yeah, when new owner registers this, they'll have 2 years before they have to test again.
"Careful not to hit daddy's Lambo."
Oh to hear my wife say that just one time to my currently non existent kid.
Daddy's Lambo, also a great Yelawolf song
The world needs more Nick.
Who hasn’t even watched Top Gear…
I agree he's done a great job, but why are there comments worded like this on all of his videos?
@@theonlyever It's the same person making the same comment. DrewIV obviously appreciates 'likes'.
Well he's got 2 kids so mission accomplished.
When's he coming out?
What car is next! A Maserati?
This type of series must continue!!
A QP5 is definitely on the shortlist!
Yes Maserati!!!

Doing these video series will ABSOLUTELY increase the final sale price. Cars & Bids should do more of these.
@@pinkace they spent 10x the sale price on making the video 🤣
@@MichaelEilers The views on the video itself MORE than cover the video costs.
@@pinkace you think UA-cam pays a lot more than it does (2 of my friends have million subs channels)… this has less than 10k views
@@MichaelEilers this series has over 150k views. The only costs are editing since Nick recorded most of the video himself. How much could that be?

Nick should start up his own YT channel. Mark my words - he will succeed! He's like a pro host but with this laid-back extra coolness.

Cars and Bids Top Gear would be amazing!
At first I wasn’t a fan of Nick but now he’s my favorite on Cars and Bids. Can’t wait for the next Cheap Car Glowup
Nick is perfect for the screen. I need more Nick and Fillipo stuff.
Please do an early 2000s upscale sedan/coupe like a Quattroporte, Continental, Phaeton!!
I vote they take a Chrysler 300 and upgrade it into a Katt Williams Phantom
Bargain Kings ! 👑

Panamera would be interesting. Turbo preferably.

Nick did a fantastic job on this series; enjoyable from start to finish! I recommend a 1976 Toyota Corona station wagon next.
Nick seems like an awesome guy, hope this does well for him on C&B
You should do this all the time.
Now buy the Maserati and do the manual swap .I have been thinking about this swap for some time and would love to see it done.

Nice work, looks fantastic.
Well done Nick!
I'm not even into Land Rovers or SUVs in general, but I thoroughly enjoyed this series and Nick was great. Looking forward to the next project!
Just saw this car in person last weekend at cars and coffee. The yellow may be faded, but it's still pretty striking in person. This was a fun series.
A not totally destroyed RX8 would be cool. Even the nice ones need work/reliability upgrades that would make good content and they’re a very underrated driving experience.
Would like to see a V12 XJS next!
Might I suggest a late 90’s Infiniti Q45t. Or how about an early 90’s Mazda MX-3 with the 1.8L V-6; manual of course!
We're riding with ya.

Please do a Maserati next!
please continue to do video series' just like this
Really enjoyed watching this series.
A new series on a 986 Boxster could be good.
Great series - thanks!
Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser - of any age. Show the kids how life used to be.
My dream car
Got to be a TVR next!
Come on, that's just cruel!
This series was ridiculously entertaining. Please more 90s/00s luxury! Jag, Bentley, and Maserati are my top 3.
Don’t be sad Nick. You could always buy it back for $10,420 on C&B!
Loved this series - hope to see more! Good luck with the auction.
Nice work Nick! Great series! You being an Audi guy, we gotta get a B5 or B6 restoration in the mix! Avant flavor …. ?
Loved the whole series. I hope at some point you all import a car and document the process with a how-to. Something we can't get in the states.
Would love a B5 RS4!
Next project should be a 2006 BMW E61 manual with over 100K miles.
Also one of my favorite vehicles ever! I choose this over our Cayenne too!
Doug has good friends...
Best of luck, Nick!
Thank you for wholesome family entertainment, free of salty language. Get a Classic rangey.......hmmmmmm
I love Borrego Springs!
Didn't know about it until now but it does look cool!

Frank is a great guy and excellent photographer. Bought my wagon from him on C&B.
I would like to see you tuning down your Lambo to a magnificent Jag XJ-S!
Seems like a good buy.
Great series nick, Maserati grand sport, jag xjr, Alfa gtv
What a ride it’s been
LSC foam cannon. Nice
Going to miss this series 😢
A b5 S4 would make a good project car!
More series like this would be cool!
Great work. It's a beautiful car - Apart from the roof rack... 🤓
OMG, Julian Apple Pie!!!!! I make the trip to Julian from Florida. Yes, that's how good the apple pie is!!! Love that area!!!
Try audi allroad c5 platform
Manual swap an f1 quattroporte next!
I could not believe the camera lens size. Really nice pics. Excellent series. Hopefully this type of series is viable.
Loved following this saga! Please do more, maybe with a fun sports car. I am terrified for you if you go for a Bentley.
6:15, oh man, lost the joy of automatic open fuel door😂
This was a great series - nice job Nick! Great story telling along the way. For future projects, how about an early Audi RS6 or B5 S4?
C5 RS6 would be amazing.
Things gonna sell for $18k just because they’ve known it locally or feel bad for Nick😂
E39 M5 should be the next project 😂
How do you top a Land Rover? One word: Allroad.
Ideas for another cool, fun, and unreliable project? Sounds like you need an FC RX-7 in your life.
You gotta get an old saab as a project!
Next car should be a cheap manual coupe
Good stuff. Really liked this series. More please!😂
I recommended that scan tool in one of the other videos! I can’t believe someone listened to me😂

Audi A4 2.0T B7, that is often called an unreliable car, but it is really cool
This is a car that I would never run out of insults for yet really want to own.
Buy a TT and make it a rally build
I've already done a MK2 TTRS that was a bit of a heartbreak situation (blew an engine) but I suppose a MK1 isn't a terrible idea ;)
