Kennan is completely lost 😂😂😂 Mazda and Toyota are apparently one brand 😂
It was a Tayazda CX Prius.
I think Toyota owns like a 5% stake in Mazda.
To be fair, the Scion/Toyota iA is a rebadged Mazda 2

As a European I'm absolutely obsessed with these insanely boring American market cars that we never got. It's why I freaked out at the fact someone imported a Kia Mohave (rebadged Borrego) here for about 100k euros!
thats how i feel when i have gone to europe. I freak out seeing a peugeot 508 hahah
I love seeing boring Citroens, Peugeots and other cars we don't see over here. I get excited when I see a Multipla. I believe the American equivalent would be the Aztek.
I drive a base model MK6 VW Golf in America, many days I can drive all day without seeing another MK6. If available I would love to get a Dacia Sandero, Fiat Panda or Skoda Yeti. I blame Topgear! The Clarkson, Hammond & May's version debuted while I was in High School.
Every country has those boring cars that become exotic in a different country. Just imagine Chinese cars in the US or Canada , they probably the heads.
I feel that way whenever I go to Europe and see cars not sold here. I get excited whenever I see a Citroen, Peugeot, Renault/Dacia, SEAT, Skoda, and MG.

These are the three who should be on Top Gear. Genuine friends. Honest and funny ribbing. Different personalities that mesh together greatly on camera with a treasure trove of car knowledge.
To be fair, 4:06 The Ford Territory would have stumped me as well. 😂 You guys should try the Carspotting challenge in Tijuana next time!
Quite hilarious that I from Cambodia recognised the Ford Territory immediately (you can't go out a day without seeing at least 2 where I live, far more in the capital)
Or just go to San Ysidro, better yet, Las Americas outlets and all the MXDM cars will be there

How I felt about the Chevy Trax. I can name all my American SUVS being from Michigan.
last summer in Chicago suburbs I saw wagoneers everywhere. It's a twice a month car near sacramento.
Kennan's wife Suzy would not be impressed with this effort.
10:59 I was immediately (from my European perspective) going: "Ah, yes the Opel Frontera. Forgot those existed." But apparently it was sold under so many names and brands... Getting that one right or wrong solely depends on the rules of the game / the generosity of the host 😀
Vauxhall Frontera, I remember that from the last Top Gear episode
For a short time it was sold in Poland also as Great Wall Frontera, I've seen it once maybe. It was very popular branded as Opel

To be fair, the driver of the ford probably also didn’t know it was called a territory
In Kennans defence, the Subaru Outback, Crosstrek, Forester, and Ascent are all basically the same thing. I'm looking at the website right now and can't tell why I'd want one over the other.
outback is like suv Legacy and Forester is suv Impreza so outback have some bigger engines (talking about older gens)

Now THAT was fun! As a San Diegan, I enjoy seeing some local content in places like Hillcrest and Balboa Park and the original Sorrento Valley filming spot.
I especially enjoyed the video of Doug’s drive through Coronado describing all the cool cars he saw there.

Watching this from Israel, most of the 'regular'' cars on this video are considered premium\luxury cars over here (such as any Acura, Jaguar and Cadillac).
the funny thing is, most of them never imported here in the first place. we know the Mazdas, Forester, Camry and some other stuff, but most - never heard of except from those videos.
Those are definitely luxury cars in the US too, especially Jaguar and Cadillac

Doug. Pleaseeeee review the ACURA RL !! I think it’s the most underrated car ever. Review the 06 model with automatic breaking and adaptive cruise !!
I’m like Doug and Felipe! I know way more and get more excited about regular cars than exotic and luxury cars. I could tell you offhand everything you need to know about the Chevrolet Lacetti and it’s rebadged derivatives, but nothing in depth about the Ferrari SF90 other than it’s a hybrid V8 for example.
Suggestion: Add the make/model on the correct/incorrect card that has the picture of the vehicle.

I'm proud to say that other than knowing the brand I also didn't know what most of these vehicles were called. Why would I waste brain space on things I don't care anything about? Knowing all these is like being a watch enthusiast and knowing all the names of the cheap knockoffs. lol
